I've been playing stronghold crusader for almost 20 years now. My all time favourite. When this random vid popped up, my expectations were a bit low... but holy shit, 10/10 Do one for Kingdom of Heaven, with crusader sounds :)
How can we make Braveheart even more epic? Well..... My man, everything was on point, and I think you added some other sounds as well, I think I heard a tree falling to an axe at the moment lances splintered, and there was a dull thud that came from one of the production buildings but it fitted so well to the blow on screen... You are victorious!!!

I have had Scottish people hate me because they think I am English and think this film is accurate. Its a shame because the hatred in Scotland toward the English is based almost entirely off this film and the historical inaccuracies in it. Nothing else. Obviously its a minority of people but enough to give me hell during my time here. So many people think the right to first night with a married woman was real and don't realise this film made it up for effect. This film has had a horrible effect on Scotland. Now I cant get "the granary is eeeempty mi'lord" out of my head and I didn't even hear it here damnit.

i would bet, for the crafting units and buildings they took from real places and workshops. It is still impressive and authentic to hear the sound.
