any reason for playing the 2-board setup with the two oceans on the same side? (rather than the default 2p setup for the balanced boards, which has one of the two boards rotated so the ocean is on the right-hand side of the table?)
No particularly important reason. This setup looks visually a bit cleaner to me. You could ask in the discord group, I am sure players have done a deeper analysis into the board orientations for different player counts.
In case you were wondering, Lesser Spirits Imperiled event gave us the additional Water element to threshold Cast Down on Ocean.
