Cultures, Colours, Flavours - International Dinner at MATE, 2023 Spring
Beside the Hungarian table nine nations prepared and served their national dishes (Algeria, Brazil, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Laos, Pakistan, Palestine, Mongolia). After MATE Forduló Folk Dance Ensemble opening dance show talented Bangladeshi, Indian, Indonesian, Kenyan and Syrian students entertained the guests with traditional songs, dance and instrumental performances. We could also enjoy English waltz, quickstep, rumba and jive performed by Hungarian competitive dancers.
2:21 For the first time in the International Dinner event series, students could also participate in E³UDRES² Science Pub Quiz arranged by E³UDRES² - MATE Students' Representatives of the project. The questions were aimed at getting to know Austria, Belgium, Latvia, Hungary, Portugal and Romania and promoting international project work, drawing the attention of fellow students to the increasingly popular project offering longer and shorter joint courses.
