- Ben's '63 Beetle becomes a paddling pool every time it rains thanks to window seals that are more desiccated than Tutankhamun's grandmother. We attempt to replace the rear window seal without breaking the glass, the seal or the window frame. That's kind of asking a lot.......

Another skill learned
Now that I've caught after watching your past videos you 2 constantly remind me of my father and uncle on my mother's side of their going on 50 years ago when they were playing with VW's. My uncle Kurt was the mechanical genius and my father was his side kick.
Enjoying your videos. As they make me smile.
And I still play with my VW's on a different scale
Cheers Michael
Can’t wait to get the glass into my carrrrrrr. Thanks for doing all the research for me, Ben. 😉
Yes the strimmer cord looked great I once mistakenley used wire and it cut into the seal as we tried to pull on it!!!!
So THAT’S where the last beer went. 😂 Clearly to a good cause.
Gut gemacht!
oooh ..funny informative and so helpful. 🙂👍better to learn by watching you guy's than than screwing up, glad my window seals ..outlasted the faded paint on my little red 68 beetle
Murphys oil soap works great for installing windows.
I love a little bouncy bouncy in the morning
lol !!! headliner should be glued before and the seal should hold it !
Did you guys end up doing a video for the front window?
I would have painted the window frame before installing the window with the new seal.
I did. Just didn’t film it - B
Looks like a good seal, WW? All my glass is out, it didn't leak but I can't help wondering if I should replace the seals anyway.
Now you have to take it out again to install the headliner
Assuming we’re doing a headliner and we are not 😂
Phosphoric acid as a paint prep ?
