Ja natürlich ist die Verarbeitung für eine Herrenweste die gleiche, aber da würde ich dann eine kleine Brusttasche und 2 kleine Taschen noch rein arbeiten. Für die Verarbeitung der Taschenklappe habe ich das Video "Pattentasche" gemacht, schauen Sie mal,vielleicht suchen Sie das. Ein Workshop in meinem Garten zum Thema Schnitt-Konstruktion - liebevolle Idee - aber ich habe so schon Zeitproblem, .......vielleicht wenn ich irgendwann in Rente gehe .. Schönen Sonntag .. hoffentlich bekommen wir einen schönen Spätsommer. LG Lilo

Das geht ja wirklich wie geschnitten Brot bei Ihnen! Machen Sie die Schnitte für Ihre Sachen eigentlich selbst oder kaufen Sie sie? Wenn Sie in Rente gehen, machen Sie solch einen Workshop erst?! Das dauert ja noch ewig! Was machen Sie denn beruflich? Sie nähen phantastisch, singen toll, sprechen ein ausgezeichnetes Englisch mit großem Wortschatz, bauen Bananen an, legen Gärten an, das macht den Rückschluss auf den Beruf nicht ganz so leicht. Hallo Damijan, dürfen wir "DU" zueinander sagen ??? Ich fange einfach damit an .. es sei denn Sie sagen NEIN ! Bis jetzt habe ich immer eigene Schnitte gemacht, bzw. benutzt, werde aber in Zukunft immer mal Burda oder ähnliche nehmen, da viele diese Magazine kaufen und die Dinge direkt so nachmachen möchten, so ist auch das letzte Party-Kleid entstanden. "To tell a long story short" .... ich bin in meiner Familie die 5. Generation die das Schneiderhandwerk erlernt hat, saß auf meines Vaters Schneidertisch schon mit 5 um ihm die Reihfäden einzufädeln, mit 6 habe ich mir an der Nähmaschine zum 1. mal in die Finger genäht, habe später erst meinen Bekleidungsschneider (3Jahre) gemacht, dann viel Praxis im eigenen Betrieb, da war um 5:00 nicht Feierabend, habe parallel mit Musik begonnen als ich 17 war, und meine Mutter sagte, ich darf solange singen gehen, solange ich morgens pünktlich im Betrieb an der Maschine sitze ! Kein Problem ! Mit 21 bin ich für 2 Jahre auf Modeschule mit Abschluss als Staatlich geprüfte Designerin, bin dann in einen großen Betrieb um AZUBIS auszubilden, hatte ca. 30 Lehrlinge pro Jahr. dann wurde die Musik mehr, Angebot im Ausland und auf Kreuzfahrtschiffen. Da musste ich den Job schmeißen, habe also mehr Musik gemacht, und begann zu Hause für große Firmen selbstständig zu arbeiten. Beides habe ich immer parallel gemacht. Dann wurde die Textil Industrie immer mehr und weiter ins Ausland verlegt und alle Firmen in Deutschland haben nacheinander geschlossen, Also dachte ich mir; bevor ich Langeweile bekomme, beginne ich eine weitere Ausbildung die mir am Herzen lag und liegt, und die ich bereits vor vielen Jahren in Indien begonnen hatte . .... ich wollte die Story doch kurz halten ........ was ich jetzt mache .... siehe meine Homepage ..... massagen-fulda.de Liebe Grüße Lilo
John Babyface Guten Morgen, Lilo! Gerne nehme ich das Du an. Das ist in der Tat ein interessanter Werdegang. Eine Schneiderfamilie über eine solch lange Zeit, das gibt es wohl nicht oft. Schade, dass die Veränderungen im Textilbereich offenbar dazu geführt haben, dass dieses Handwerk nicht mehr so vielen Leuten ein Auskommen bietet. Einen Herrenschneider muss man ja von den Großstädten abgesehen regelrecht schon suchen. Ähnliches betrifft ja auch das klassische Schuhmacher- und auch das Hutmacherhandwerk. Ich kenne eine Hutmacherin in Köln, die den Betrieb jetzt auch in der vierten oder fünften Generation führt und ohne den Kölner Karneval mit seinem Bedarf an Kopfbedeckungen wohl auch eine schwere Zeit hätte. Da haben die industrielle Fertigung mit ihrem für den Handwerker nicht zu haltenden Preisdruck und ein abnehmender Qualitätsanspruch beim Verbraucher, aber auch die Veränderungen in der Alltagsmode zu Bedingungen geführt, die für das klassische Handwerk nicht gerade günstig sind. Sehr schade! Wie ich sehe, hast Du einige Male einen komplett anderen Weg eingeschlagen. Das ist für viele Menschen nicht leicht, aber in Deinem Fall ist es wohl aus spürbarer Leidenschaft und einer Vielseitigkeit entstanden, die man entweder hat oder nicht hat. Ich glaube jedenfalls, dass Du an all diesen Dingen Freude hast, und wünsche Dir, dass das auch so bleibt. Ich werde mir die nächsten Videos mit Freude ansehen und freue mich darüber, dass ich die Vielseitigkeit Deines Kanals nun besser verstehe. Vielen Dank dafür, dass Du mich daran hast teilhaben lassen. Sicherlich wird es noch die eine oder andere Frage geben, so dass wir Gelegenheit haben werden, weiter zu schreiben. Hello Kai, if you have a good fitting waistcoat pattern, you can (to make it easy on yourself) just draw both front parts in the Botton area wider, and look how you want to have the lapel to follow the front, best regards Lilo
HI, SORRY - I made myself a pattern from an old waistcoat. I am shure you got one somewhere. Just put the front flat on your patternpaper and draw it and do the same with the back, thats what I did . I took my time doing it, first it lookes not so easy, but it is easy done. I hope this is to any help to you. Regards Lilo

But I do plan on showing how to sew a men's jacket sometime in the beginning of next jear. How to do the trousers you can see in 3 Parts from me, it is a pair for me, but men trousers I make excactly the same way besides the zipper is going the other way.
