@@awele529 so for the left lining that part you will have to cut the opposite shape with the seam allowance so that it is hidden behind the top vent part. I bought patterns that have the vent that make this process a little easier, but it’s kind of hard to put it together with how they explain it in the pattern booklets. There are UA-cam videos that go into detail about how to do the measurements for the left lining part as well when you look up how to cut a vent for a suitcoat.

Amazing tutorial, can you explain a little more how did you cut the left lining, I am not sure I completely undestand this. I guess the fabric and the righ lining are 4 cms, and cut the same, but the left lining...
😊Hello. The lining on the left needs to inwards to remove the size of the slit。 The left & right fabrics & the right lining，are the same. At 00:12 seconds of the video, there is a picture of the pattern that you can look at and maybe understand.
I love that you mark the seam allowance. This is exactly what I was looking for in the flap!

Hi, You can add 3~4CM to the fabric, but always only add 1CM to the lining.
