@@Sarahwrldd As a huge fan of Friends, I have to say I’m impressed with this subtle throwback. One of the only true moments of continuity in a show that rarely cares about continuity. That dude Rachel was on a date with was the massage client Phoebe put in contact with Monica who came high. "Tartlets, tartlets, tartlets...the word has lost all meaning" that guy lol. I think season 1 or 2
23:21 I guess you don’t remember him from the earlier season where he was high when Monica was preparing appetizers for him and his restaurant at her apartment “Macaroni and cheese, we have to make this!”
This time the argument between Ross and Rachel made sense because they're hitting the right points of reasons. I still think that Ross should have given Rachel the note of the guy phone number from the bar. And then he should have told her how he feels about it.
Comedic Legend John Lovitz. He's in a lot of stuff, and always steals the show. He's bound to show up again in one of your reactions. You'll notice him forever now😊
" youre obviously desperate, youre asking women how they want to be killed " eugh 😅none of the sane ones wanted to come back with me! ross is a hot mess i love it
Chandler and Ross are best friends since school. They have the most realistic bond. Joey and Chandler are so awesome but it’s a different dynamic. ✌🏻👩🏻🦰👍🏻
I love that you like Ross' humor, he is a great comedian in my opinion 😂 I have already mentioned it in another video, but are you maybe thinking about reacting to The Office tv show, after you (sadly) finish Friends? Those two shows are often compared, but The Office is so different. You have seen the first episode already and I'm pretty sure that you would appreciated it, it is your kind of humor. It's so good and the characters there are iconic, I think you would enjoy them.
Ross and Rachel made the right call but it was still sad it didn't work out. I do think there's just so much history and with Emma on top of that, it will probably always be weird once one of them start dating someone else. But it's clear that living together was not working anymore. Fun facts: Jon Lovitz (Steve) also played the stoned guy in 1x15. Rachel does not seem to remember him despite waitressing for him at Monica's apartment. However, she only met him once for less than an hour, so it would be understandable that she wouldn't remember him after almost 9 years. This is also the second appearance of Sam Pancake as a waiter. He previously appeared in 8x16 when Joey told Rachel about his feelings for her. Joey's eyebrows in E13 resemble those of Mr. Spock in the Star Trek films and TV series.
Is there any logical reason that they did that to Joey’s eyebrow? Was it purely for comedic spin on the storyline, or was there something wrong they had to cover up? Like when Matt broke his arm diving for the chair, so Chandler wouldn’t get it?
Rachel's terrible date was played by the actor Jon Lovitz. As other noted, he did appear on the show before but also he was a huge comedic talent at the time. He was a regular player on Saturday Night Live from 1985=90 and in many movies and guest starred in other TV comedies throughout the years.
Sadly, that is the last we see of Gavin. But, if you want to see that actor in a leading role, you and your girlfriend can add to your list of movies My Best Friend’s Wedding, with Julia Robert’s. Gavin’s actor is the best friend of the title and the male lead, and he’s pretty good.
it's not visible since you blurred it and your camera covers it but right after Joey asks Chandler if he cant even get on top, he and Monica give each other a low five 😂😂😂
I discovered Jennifer Aspen, backwards. I saw her in this episode and thought she was hilarious. A real standout. Then I recently went and watched Party of Five and her appearance was an absolute surprise. I fell in love with her on that show, but I think that she should have definitely been a recurring character on Friends. Totally different when I saw her in Sharp Objects. She can do anything.
Ross sure can pick em. That lady he found in the coffee shop was clearly an... interesting person. I'll bet she would have been fun. I could totally fix her. Oh. The desert baby food is actually pretty good. Father of three and I didn't like letting them eat something I hadn't tried. Deserts and fruit, good. Most of the rest of them are awful.
If it's not on your radar, and you haven't seen it already, you should do reactions for How I Met Your Mother. Especially if you want a 'prank' war between friends. The group there has something called the Slap Bet, that is a reccuring thing. It's similar to Friends in some ways, and s1 is definitely where you see the writers getting the grove, but the season's just get better. It's such a smartly written show and unique as far as sitcoms go, because they jump around the time lines a lot. 😊 It's great, and definitely worth the watch!
You should watch "Rat Race" a comedy movie with a great cast: Rowan Atkinson, Lanai Chapman, John Cleese, Whoopi Goldberg, Cuba Gooding Jr, Seth Green, Wayne Knight, Jon Lovitz, Breckin Meyer, Kathy Najim,y Amy Smart, Dave Thomas, Vince Vieluf.
I don't totally disagree with you about how they should've given Ross an actual date. My guess is that they probably figured it'd feel a little repetitive given that we saw him on a date with a strange lady just the episode before.
I think, children born out of wedlock, are considered (legally, maybe?) illegitimate…or at least, they used to be! That’s why the children born to a king’s mistress(es) are illegitimate and can’t inherit the throne.
An illegitimate child is a child born out of wedlock. And yes, it still means that @Jcubed67. lol Ross and Carol were divorced at the time, making Ben an illegitimate child.
@@paulrothrock9405 That's true, although (historically), having sex outside of marriage was the real issue, so I always thought the moment of conception was what determined illegitimacy, rather than the circumstances at the time of the child's birth. I guess, in those days, once people got married they stayed married, so 'illegitimacy' was a less complicated term.
I actually hate that they cancelled Ross' date with someone he might have really clicked with. Like why would you intentionally work against your friends' happiness bc you think you know better who they should end up with? They have a kid. They'll be in each other's lives and figure it out if they mature and grow and learn to talk about your feelings, if it's meant to be at least.
I think Ross deserved to be forgiven for this. When Rachel was pregnant, she kept Ross from dating anyone, ruined his dates, and he accepted it and told her he understood and wasn't going to date anyone else. She never returned that favor
