One of the best Friends episodes! Fun fact, the audience was cheering so loudly when Joey ripped Phoebe's buttons open because he failed soo many times and kept having to redo the take. And then finally he got it right and the next line is "It's not my first time" 😂😂
I love that you just made that scene 10x funnier to me (and it was already hilarious). What a fun behind the scenes thing to know! Thanks for sharing that with us! 😃
Monica's little "of course" shrug when Chandler asks "Did you clean up in here?" is by far the most relatable moment to me in all 10 seasons. Also this episode is iconic, and I'm thrilled that you've finally seen it! I was anticipating this reaction almost as much as the London specials. In terms of who out of the 4 had the best reactions to Monica / Chandler, my vote has to go to Ross. What an ending!
isnt that just so typical of life though once youve gaslit yourself into believing youre over your issues to throw a situation at you immediately to remind you that you didnt really make much progress after all lol
TOW Everybody Finds Out is one of the top episodes of the entire series for me. It's hilarious and so well done. At the reunion they did a kind of a recreation/table read of the scene where Phoebe finds out (which I highly recommend you watch after you finish the show). "They don't know that we know they know we know!" is one of my favourite lines too. 😂 Fun fact: It actually took Matt LeBlanc twelve takes to open Lisa Kudrow's blouse, which is why Joey's line "Not my first time" was even funnier to the audience.
I just love how well Chandler and Monica play off each other. They both can go off the deep end in different directions, but the other grounds them very well, like with: "Because you're on my team! My team always wins!" "At *_this?!"_*
I know a lot of friends fans think the episode in season 4 where they switch apartments is peak friends but for me it’s in season 5 where everybody finds out about chandler & Monica, that episode is my favorite, it’s peak friends
@@andres0v916 the switching apartments episode is a lot of fans favorite, I love it as well but I liked this one more cause of the trying to trick each other aspect but no matter where you fall both are top 5 episodes as far as I’m concerned
Season 4 has several top 10 episodes. And the season in general allows the whole cast to shine and is fairy consistent all the way through. I think that’s why it’s the most beloved season.
I have been WAITING for you to get to the episode when Phoebe finds out. It's so freaking funny! "Chandler and Monica! Chandler and Monica! MY EYES! MY EYES!!!!" And then they cover by saying they're all excited about Ross getting the apartment, so the three of them start squealing with joy. Ross joining in cracks me up. And then of course the whole "They don't know that we know that they know..." And Phoebe messing with Chandler (and Monica the competitive one not wanting Chandler to give up)... oh my gosh, hysterically funny. It's such a well-written, hilarious episode. Definitely a top tier one for me in the overall series (along with the episode when Monica and Rachel lose their apartment in a game to Joey and Chandler).
@shallowgal462 😆🤣😆🤣 all I had to see of your comment was "Transpon..." and I could hear Monica scream, "That's not even a word!!!" And the time runs out... oh so good. 😄
I think The One Where Everyone Finds Out is the best episode of this show. The story setup, the payoffs, the lines, the expressions, it just never stops being funny.
A long way since 1x23: Chandler: All right. I'll tell you what. When we're 40, if neither one of us are married, what do you say you and I get together and have one? Monica: Why won't I be married when I'm 40?
Great reaction, Nick! I have been waiting for your reaction to Episode 5-14 for months, now. Phoebe's line, "They don't know we know they know we know" is IMO the funniest in the series. Fun fact: episode 5-14 is the highest-rated episode of the series on IMDB, with an average rating of 9.7.
SO good. There’s a gif of Phoebe and Rachel jumping and saying yay that I use all the time. It’s a genius episode. It’s great that you are totally a fan of Friends now and invested. You can see why it’s still SO well loved after all these years. It’s got a magic to it. All the characters, the actors and writers, it’s just so smart.
YAAAAAAAAAAS!!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EPISODE REACTION!!! THANK YOU!!😂 MY FAVORITE OF THE WHOLE SEASON! "They don't know that we know that they know." ICONIC!!! ❤ I love Monica and Chandler's relationship. Beautiful. ❤ R.I.P. Matthew Perry. Still heartbroken your not here anymore. 💔
Sleepy Girl = Smelly Cat woop.. lol but one is better than the other. 😂 And Ross jumping into the screamjng circle is one of my favorite Ross moments. 😂😂
That moment of Ross screaming and jumping with excitement lives rent free in my head. Possibly my favorite moment in Friend! The way I laugh EVERY SINGLE TIME. ☠️
14:17 that was a line lisa stole from matthew from s1 when joeys mum was on the phone and joey was foing sm in the bathroom and chandler goes in and runs out shouting “MY EYES MY EYES”
That part with Ursula talking about already going to their grandmother's funeral, I assumed their grandmother secretly had a twin whom died and Phoebe never knew
I love episode 14. Absolutely one of my favorites. Phoebe and Chandler facing off is so hilarious. And then the sweetness of Monica and Chandler afterwards is wonderful.
Hello Nick! I simply wanted to say congrats. You meet Friends for the first time on December 8, 2022. Despite the fact that a lot has transpired in the past year, it makes me happy to think that you were able to enjoy the show and make us smile. I am very grateful. It's amusing that this iconic episode occurs on the first anniversary. Love a lot.❤
Episode 5x14 is one of the best! I’ve been anxiously waiting to see your reaction to this episode. I loved how your face lit up at Ross shouting “get off my sister!!!!!”
You recognize Bob Balaban as Phoebe's father, who played the TV producer of the "show about nothing" on Seinfeld and was in love with Elaine. He's had many great roles, but to me, his biggest one was in Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
"Got a good look Coztanza?!!" That's Bob Balaban, playing Phoebe's dad. He had a great small part in Seinfeld. That quote is what I remember delivered so perfectly by him, followed by Jerry's face of sheer disbelief that his friend got caught! But honestly, the Friends episode where Phoebe finds out is one of my favorites.
Chandler stopping touching his arm to say "She knows!" is just priceless 😂 Phoebe was just hilarious with her advances on Chandler And Ross in front of his boss shouting in rage, I'm sure he is going back to work straight away 🤪 This was such a funny episode, can't wait til the continuation, David Schwimmer started to shine as an actor in the 5th season and it is just gonna get better 🙂
13:55 -14:55 Best moment in Friends like.... EVER!! 🤣🤣 Well at least top5 moment ever, one of the best moments also coming up in the next episodes. PIVOOOOOT!! 🤣 Also, I can't believe that Monica acted surprised about Rachel knowing. Did she really think Rachel bought the whole cleaning story. Unreal 😅
I’ve been binge watching your friends playlist for about 2 months now. And I’ve just caught up! I am looking forward to watching the next 5 seasons with you! Thanks for your honest and true reactions as always! 😌
A good designer type purse is at least $200.00. $350.00 at Barney's is definitely not out of the range. There was a joke in another sitcom where the woman is getting mugged and she begs the robber to just take her wallet because the purse is worth more than the contents of the purse.
I think I've read somewhere that it took Matt Leblanc 12 takes to get Lisa Kudrow's blouse open. Matthew Perry changed his arm around Pheobe's waist because he realized he blocked he shoot, but it was done in character and fitted the scene as a nervous move on Chandler's part so they didn't reshoot the scene. Rachel knows, because we know that from a few episodes back. So Monica shouldn't be surprised, like you said during that episode too.
Mr. Buffay was played by Bob Balliban. He played Warren Littlefield in The Late Shift. He also played a Warren Littlefield type of character on Seinfeld.
This and the one where the girls lose the apartment are my top two favorite episodes of this sitcom 🧡 I can, and have, watched the entire series multiple times, and those two episodes never fail to make me laugh!
The One Where Everybody Finds Out is my absolute favorite episode of Friends and I have been anxiously awaiting for your reaction to it. You did not disappoint!
In the reunion (which I hope you watch when you're done) I'm pretty sure they re-read the scene where Phoebe finds out while they're all sat round a table it's great!
I think from Phoebe’s perspective, she’s never really had a family. She clings to the notion of belonging somewhere. If you grow up with both parents & they’re good to you, then you can’t imagine not having them in your life. Maybe that makes you bitter at the idea they wouldn’t be there for you. But when you grow up without that, sometimes even as an adult all you crave is that relationship. Phoebe never had her parents or those close family ties. She’s not going to remain bitter cause she finally has a chance to fill that void.
Actually the Ursula and Phoebe story has an interesting background irl as the actress Lisa Kudrow played the role of the waitress named Ursula in the show "Mad About You" before 'Friends' even started and after some time show creators decided to kind of explain why the two different characters in two different shows by the same network has the same face and that's how they make them the identical twin sisters what actually worked as both sitcoms were happening in NYC... :)
Bob Balaban, the actor who plays Phoebe's father, has been acting a really long time. The movie I remember him from immediately is Best In Show. Don't know if that's what you're thinking of. If you haven't seen that film, you should do a reaction to it, it's hysterical.

But it was actually pretty progressive because man bags became popular. Everyone Finds Out is probably THEE best episode of Friends.
