Dude, this is the best tutorial how to replace screen without chromakey, i've seen about 10 tutorials, but only yours is clear and full. Thank you very very much. Added this tut in my bookmarks.
Great job! I'm novice about ae and mocha. I watched around 4-5 tutorials but i couldn't succeed to replacement. This tutorial was super basic and easy to understand. Thanks dude!
You are literally a life saver!!!! I've been trying to figure out how to do this for a scene in my thesis film for MONTHS and none of the tutorials I've watched have been helpful for what I was trying to do. I finally got it right thanks to you!! Great tutorial :) !!!!
Thanks for the tutorial! I'm learning After effects and I needed to learn Mocha. Please continue making videos. They are very good! A hug from Argentina!
simply incredible! I do have one question though, how would you add a glow to the screen? I have a footage where I replaced the screen like this but it seems a bit off because it's not any brighter. The glow effects inside AE just make the brightest parts glow haha
I have a myriad of different glow effects installed. The out of the box glow effects may not be the right solution for this technique. Maybe play with the exposure effect to brighten the screen content.
Bro had my mindblown every step of the way. Amazing walkthrough, leagues better than anything else on youtube giving cheap solutions. subbed and liked
That's So good the way you did it 🤯

Out of interest, why do you need to composite the bezel back over the screen? Why isn't the actual screen-shaped mask enough?
I do it that way in case I want to adjust the exposure of the bezel. Sometimes I'll add simulated lighting to the bezel.
