🎄Merry Christmas! I am still taking request. If you have any DIY that you would like to see me make, leave a comment down below to let me know. I will be picking a few request. 😊💜 ✨Tune in Tomorrow for Day 4. ✨
I've been making and selling flaxseed gel for 2 years now. I have a family member who is a scientist in the food industry, I had him check my gel for bacteria and mold, I've used phenoxyethanol, and have tried a few other preservatives including the germ all. The gel past the test several times for no contamination. I know I'm in a really lucky position to have someone who can test for me, it's really expensive. But he has told me multiple times now, that with those preservatives my gel has a shelf life of around 55 days when kept refrigerated. I'm not telling anyone to keep their gel for that long 😂 but I just wanted to share that I've had a lot of success with it. I also infuse the gel with other hair strengthening botanicals. I love your method, I hope you don't think I'm trolling you. I just wanted to pass along the info.
I really love your videos Yaya......They're self explanatory, detailed and easy to understand. Keep it up hun!!! Please I'd like it if you can do something for kids hair - something like hair shampoo, conditioner, serum, growth oil, butter, spray etc. And also please can you also do a video on what can be done to preserve these DIYs, for perhaps a year or 2? I'd be glad if you can do a video on these. Stay safe ma'am❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗......God bless you 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Question... if you add a preservative to actual flaxseed gel will it be able to last maybe a month? Or two weeks? Of course it won’t last the printed shelf life of the preservative, but maybe adding it will help mine to last maybe 2 weeks or so? Please let me know you’re input! 🙏🏾 love your videos!! 😁
Hey, I have had a batch of flaxseed gel last 3 months with the preservative phenonip at 1%. It probably would have been good longer, but I finished using it all. I tend to leave it in the refrigerator even with the preservative bc I want to slow down breakdown of the flaxseed. I also put it in a dispenser that isolates it from air and prevents contamination with my fingers.
I would like to see a turmeric face/body scrub bar that contains an emulsifier so it is easier to rinse away. A self-emulsifying oil cleanser that "foams" when it comes in contact with water might be nice to see too (if you haven't already made one on your channel).
Hi love I know you’ve done deep conditioners can you do a regular thinner consistency wash out conditioner, a leave in conditioner cream or liquid based, and a curl pudding pls
Once the Xanthan gum and HEC fully hydrate, the result will be the slightly tinted product. The tiny bubbles are air bubbles. They will clear up over time. For the purposes of this video, I only showed day 1 and day two. I hope this helps. 💜

@@YayaDIYCreations also a strong hold edge control plz
And a strong hold hair gel
Where did you find the Hydrolysed Flaxseed?
Another good recipe. Thanks for sharing.
Where do you purchase hydolyzed flaxseeds

Loving this series 🤩😍
Hi, can you please tell me how many grams of the xanthan gum you used ? It's not listed in your typed ingredient list for the recipe. Thank you.
I’m curious too
Me too
Wow beautiful
Beautiful! What do you think about a curl refresher with a little bit of hold?
Hi love I know you’ve done deep conditioners can you do a regular thinner consistency wash out conditioner, a leave in conditioner cream or liquid based, and a curl pudding pls
I see a lot of people have asked about the Hydrolyzed flax seed but no response. I wonder why?
Hey yaya when the flaxseed extract is used at 1% would you say it gives your hair a good hold similar to a gel ?
How long the gel does last, and can i add in oils? would the gel still last long ?
How much xanthan gum did you use?
Very interesting...
Where did you get your hydrolyzed flax seeds?
Same question
Thank you for this 🙂🙂
I am happy to help 💜😊
Where did you get the hydrolyzed flaxseed
I love it...
Wooow! This is amazing. Is this similar to the flaxseed gel we buy on the stores, for example, ecostyler flaxseed gel?
Hi Yaya, can you make a video on DIY hair vitamin gummies please?
Hi, thanks for the video. Quick question....could you sub out the HEC for cetearyl alcohol instead?
Any tips on how to make gels without getting such a hard cast with the powders?
Thank you for the video. If I only have xantham gum can I double in place of the HEC?
Surely if flaxseed is a humectant it adds moisture to the hair. So it will cause frizz no take it away because moisture causes frizz.
so cool can you do a curling pudding
How do I know how much of each ingredient to use? Should I just do the usage rate and fill the rest of the formulation with distilled water?
What preservative you used? And for how much time we can store it.
How many proportions of the ingredients in the composition? I really need it
can i use a preservative for your chebe butter recipe and if so which preservative would you recommend?
Can you show us how to make a turmeric body Butter please, thankie!
I will look into it 😊💜
@@YayaDIYCreations thank you!
Can we use another preservative in place of germmall?
Thanks for sharing 😍
Can we use it for edges?
This provides a very soft, medium hold. I would recommend something with a stronger hold for edges. However, you can definitely give it a try. 😊💜
Yaya is this gel used for hair eadges
Remember
Please do the toner and serum
hey what's the shelf life
Who's the person that gave this video a thumbs down ....go find your life... it's not on this channel.
Nice job but it has some tiny particles. I will try it tho
