she’s NEVER been just a stand still in front of the mic artist. she’s always been a wildly running around the stage in her bare feet artist while still singing amazingly and powerfully. explore her more.
If I'm not mistaken, the aesthetic of the video was inspired by a painting from Goya called "The Witche's Flight". I love this music video and the song so much! Florence is powerful. Great reaction 🥰
If you're interested in seeing more of Florence dancing, can highly recommend her 2016 performance of Queen of Peace at Hyde Park. Some fantastic choreography (and an even better song! :D)
Thank you for reacting to this song. Makes you feel like she's a witch. There's a painting by Goya (CMIIW) kinda portraying in the video. How certain darkness mesmerize us people.
All her music videos are cinematic and artistic. She’s one of the most underrated people too. Her entire big blue sky album done in a music video about her drug and alcohol and toxic love problem she had. She bares her soul.
I feel that you'd love Hunger's video, the song is beautiful and the lyrics are poetry, but the video itself is an experience and it would be really interesting to see your interpretation
Thank you for such a lovely and thoughtful review! I just found your channel and subscribed :) Yes! I think this video for me made me realize how much of a visual artist she is and my best friend and I saw her in concert a few years ago and her artistry shines live in all aspects. She moves like no one else and her showmanship is second to none! If you can ever see her live, highly recommend it. Cheers! Hope you're having a lovely day!
They odyssey movie is beautiful from florence. It's from her how big how blue how beautiful album and when I saw it I was blown away. It is split up into parts as well. 💕
Florence is easily my favorite modern artist. She is the only artist where they haven't done a song I don't at least LIKE. Like obviously some are on the bottom of the list, some have to be but . . . I actually still " LIKE " them. But yeah she does a lot of tribal stuff in her music too. I think a lot of people don't know that. Because a lot of you are only used to hearing like " You've Got The Love " and " Cosmic Love " and she does SUCH a variety that people say they don't like her music prematurely. You should check out " Bedroom Hymns " if you like a tribal sound. It's stunning. But yeah the only people I know who don't enjoy her either . . . don't like Indie or rock music ( they're into either K-pop or rap ) or they think ALL BELTING is screaming because they only listen to quiet Tumblr girls mumble.
A great reaction to a stunnning video from Florence + The Machine. My all time favourite song by Florence is "The Dog Days (Are Over)" in 2010 she relased a new version of this song and created a new video and she looks like a king of alien cyber geisha in the videos and she changed the sound of the vocals too in the new version, but I Think you would love the 2010 version as a video. They are an amazing band live ,Florence has such a commanding presence on stage. I have tickets for their tour in september and I can't ait to see her live again. (matt) P.s watching some of Florence's video's like this one I'm remindeda little of the way Kate Bush uses dance in some of her videos too.
Florence is one of those artists that I "sort of" like, but never really paid much attention to. This one, however, demanded your attention! The sort of video that once you've started, you just can't stop watching. Speaking of which (I just can't comment without bringing her up), Ionnalee has a brand new single out with, as always, a brilliant video to go along with it. It's about those times when it's difficult to tell dream from reality. She made versions in both Swedish (for the first time) and English. Please check it out! The English version is here: ua-cam.com/video/iNMmaXtXk2I/v-deo.html
In all of her concerts she rarely stands still and jumps/runs/gets held above the crowd etc except perhaps the brief time she had a fractured foot because she jumped off the stage of cochella lmao and had to avoid jumping around the stage for a bit until it healed up lmao.
Your reaction was similar to mine except I hit the replay button about 800 more times. Florence is amazing and is one of my favorite artists. I listened to her first album Lungs on repeat for several months after it came out. I know you've probably heard Cosmic Love (not sure about the UK but that song was everywhere in the states) so I suggest Howl and Leave My Body. I can't pick a favorite but they've got a similar feel to this one
Great reaction :) I love Florence, she has so unique voice :) can't wait to see your reaction to the songs What The Water Gave Me and Shake It Out :) They are one of my favourites :)
Thank you! I mean, I can imagine everyone knows Shake It Out and it’s a favourite of mine. I don’t know What the Water Gave Me, however! I’ll add it to the list 😁
Just btw, The Odyssey is essentially a movie album where she basically made all the music videos at once to her music and turned it into a kind of movie so if you wanted to react to her album that way that's an option 😊 Love your reactions and videos always, been a fan for a year and a half now ❤
You popped up on my feed because i often go to this song. This is eyes + eargasm..lol This song and video oozes Goddess Kali/Sophia vibrations to me. It takes me places to reflect on the masculine/feminine balance. 🔥🔥🔥💯
Wonderful performance 👏👏 A very nice voice and song 💕💜💕 with an unusual to mystical dance 🌠 I liked it. Your rating of songs and artist Is great 👌👍 Thank you 🌷
If you like that you should watch Florence + The Machine - The Odyssey (Full film, directed by Vincent Haycock). ua-cam.com/video/HajiEqEtIRY/v-deo.html It's 48 min so not good for a reaction but worth watching for sure.
@@AdamStraughan try this... one of my favorite ballets and composer... from 3:40 you will clearly see the similarities. But it is worth to watch it from the beginning... ua-cam.com/video/NOTjyCM3Ou4/v-deo.html
This one is one of favourites songs from Florence - also love artistic video for it :). She has some great songs. Also like very much What the Water Gave Me. These 2 i like more then many of her more know hits (although I like these hits too). She also has some great live shows. For sure strong and trained voice too, althogh i know not everyone likes this type of singing (at last after talking about it with some :) ). I guess she is also very loud in second parts of some songs (not everyone likes it). Although she is great live.
‘As far as I can get’ Has taken my number 1 spot 1. As far as I can get 2. 100 years 3. Big God She’s Bae Also their ‘Stand by me’ the new standard for the classic.
Wait until you watch The Odyssey; a movie made out of the music videos for the HBHBHB album. She’s very much a multi-faceted artist; a dancer, a writer, a visual artist, etc. She has a lot to give. I highly recommend you watch the full Odyssey movie instead of watching the parts separately. There are some majorly cool symbolic themes to explore within it!
Ugh, I deleted my entire comment, so here we go again :D First of all: I really enjoyed your reaction! Florence has such an interesting and unique voice! No light no light is also a very impressive song in my opinion! Also, I’d like to suggest “a new artist” (at least for your channel) and that is BTS. I don’t know if you have heard of BTS, but they are a group of seven from Korea. When people hear BTS they usually think “ugh, it’s that K-Pop boyband” and that they’re only famous for their looks and that they only appeal to teenage girls - but that is far from true! I’ve watched all of your Aurora reactions and I always loved how you listened to her without prejudice and how you were able to understand her lyrics and her messages, so I believe that you’d understand BTS as well. They are incredibly talented singers/rappers and dancers and they’re very passionate and committed. Their discography is diverse, they really don’t stick to a certain genre or vibe (they go from old school Hip Hop, to Pop, to RnB and more, they have very upbeat and funky songs but also emotional and calm songs). As they sing in Korean you’d need to read the subtitles (or read the genius translations) but it is absolutely worth it, because most of their lyrics are very deep and moving (they sing about friendship, adolescence, the struggles of accepting yourself, social and economic issues and more). You might have heard of “Dynamite” or “Boy with Luv” but if you were to give them a chance I’d maybe suggest “Life Goes On” (which is about the pandemic), Black Swan (which is about the fear of losing one’s passion for music) or Fake Love (which is about the process of losing oneself trying to please someone else). Actually, their most famous songs (Dynamite, Boy with Luv) are rather unusual songs for them. Of course, there’s much more to discover (their other songs or just them as people, they’re very humble and funny. They have an inspiring past, it’s really not an easy success story) but I think those songs would be kinda good to start with? Anyways, I’d really appreciate it 😊 Keep up the good work! Edit: Oh, or maybe their Tiny Desk Perfomance?
Now that you are acquainted with Florence and The Machine, might I suggest "Spectrum" (covered by Daneliya Tuleshova aged 11 years at the Voice Kids Ukraine): ua-cam.com/video/48_AYCZyCSU/v-deo.html

I’ve seen her live so many times, she just hypnotizes the audience. She’s so energetic and charismatic and charming.
If I'm not mistaken, the aesthetic of the video was inspired by a painting from Goya called "The Witche's Flight". I love this music video and the song so much! Florence is powerful.
Great reaction 🥰
Oh wow I love that! I’m going to check out that painting right now.
You need react to What kind of man Music video by Florence and the machine, It’s Amazing, you will love it!
If you're interested in seeing more of Florence dancing, can highly recommend her 2016 performance of Queen of Peace at Hyde Park. Some fantastic choreography (and an even better song! :D)
Easy in my top 10 fav songs/videos. Still goosebumps every watching.
Thank you for reacting to this song. Makes you feel like she's a witch. There's a painting by Goya (CMIIW) kinda portraying in the video. How certain darkness mesmerize us people.
Well she has said that she is one so that would make sense ❤
All her music videos are cinematic and artistic. She’s one of the most underrated people too. Her entire big blue sky album done in a music video about her drug and alcohol and toxic love problem she had. She bares her soul.
Great reaction- you are so accurate - she is an artist in her vision and the song itself was sung powerfully snd perfectly.
I feel that you'd love Hunger's video, the song is beautiful and the lyrics are poetry, but the video itself is an experience and it would be really interesting to see your interpretation

Dead on with your comment...they are not just a generic pop artist...more of her please....Blinding live at Hammersmith is awsome...and witchy.

Just commenting again to recommend a singer that's definitely worth a look. Patty Gurdy, specifically her version of Molly Malone.
Wonderful performance 👏👏 A very nice voice and song 💕💜💕 with an unusual to mystical dance 🌠 I liked it. Your rating of songs and artist Is great 👌👍 Thank you 🌷

I would recommend Florence - The odissey
You've been sleeping on her a little bit. You should definitely react to more of her live performances
its one of those bands i feel i should be listening to, but when i do they dont really grab me, its a weird thing i have with them
new? she not know to do a lot of dance or moveing ?
