In this case it was the bulgarians who also had a very long history of wanting to take down the eastern Romans.

@@mathiasofnorway7142 the Slavic immigration into the Roman lands destroyed their control over the region, allowing for the Ottomans to easily conquer the Balkans leaving the original Byzantine Empire (Eastern Rome) with Constantinople and the Peloponnesian peninsula.
Pretty much, they destroyed the empire inly to claim they were it’s rightful heir.

Bulgaria is really fun in this mod, from many political choices to alot of overal potential
And best of all it's a disaster save type of nation and that's fun as hell

The strat I used during the balkan wars was 500 units of 1 line of calvary, abusing their OP buff in the doctrine path on the right
Something funny I did once was take ownership of the Balkan League by spamming 1 battalion infantry and then letting Serbia attack me after which I have Greece as an ally and also Montenegro. Meaning I can be less focused on Romania and Turkey. I won the 2nd Balkan War and then the 1st World War.

Hello @Bitt3rSteel thanks for the amazing videos as always i have a challenge for you, i know you already play with the qing in great war redux and didnt go so well but i think it would great if you try it again but with the sub mod that ads a bigger focus three for the country because you are always incredible in challenge and this is a very difficult challenge thank you
Cool fun fact, the left side of tree you can ignore after the first focus, (until the first Balkan War) since they get bypassed. You can spend more time getting to Prussia of the Balkans!

I actually went with the big divisons, just switching out some of the infantry brigades with howtizers and arty. They performt surprisingly well and were able to push and hold against 2 or 3 divisons with ease. I don't know, ig quality instead of quantity worked for me. Sadly it's a while back and don't remeber the template, but well

Bulgaria is also op in base hoi4, go from 20 factories to 300 factories by bulgarian patriarchate giving infinite compliance and tsar ferdinand giving insane amounts of puppet industry bonus (you get 40% more civs and mils i think)
I easily got bulgarian byzantium(sadly Ferdinand cant reform the empire) and i conquered the soviets along with Iran

Dude just how. I literally tried this a week ago and i finished the second balkan war in 1919 at which point it was already part of the weltkrieg because of the ottomans. The only reason i was even able to survive was because Austria Hungary decided not to attack me. It was one of the most painful hoi4 experiences ever and i just wished I'd lost
It takes about three years for the political power guy to pay off and that is at 150, at the cost you paid which is 172, it would take 3 years and 60+15=75 days, so i usually only go for that guy when i have gotten an exp guy and some industry advisor, as 15% more factories is better than (Around) 62 more political power 4 years into the game

When I played this, my strategy was to use cavalry instead of infantry.
thats very ironic, i've played bulgaria yesterday and one of the best hoi4 channel makes a video about the same country with the same mod.

Enjoy the content, just got into the game, and this channel has been a huge help. General question around diplomacy; I'm Nationalist China, and beat back the Japanese, but still at war until i take the Home Islands. Formed the China faction with all the warlords and Commies. Commies just left faction, declared war then joined Allies who then all declared on me; i had 100 relations with UK and US and they still did. Commies are wiped off map but still at war with majors, how do i get peace? don't see any options?

Or u could use just the 150 Cavalry Division Tactic with them but nice to see this playthrough
I like this modification but IA don’t build factories, mostly only ports and stuff like this. I recommend you manual go to different majors power trough the console and build factory’s next time

i remember playing a ww1 mod. as germany i was destroying russia, but then the bolshevik coup happened and i had to refight russia. in another game i was beating the entente, but accepting the peace deal event gave me nothing, despite the accepting the peace deal event if i had lost meant me giving up colonies and suffering the versailes.

This mod is a total pain though, because if you're part of the Central Powers and Germany loses, you automatically are defeated even if you're NOT AT WAR WITH THE ENTENTE. It's just annoying and frustrating.
