    Wow! Thank you Lisa for such great topics you share with us! In just a short time have gotten to watch your videos here. Trust me, my perspective on marriage has changed. I broke up with my boyfriend after 7 years of courtship and since then I promised myself never to date again. I am still single now for 2 years but I had vowed never again. I think need to join Bible study fellowship! I came across your channel recently, but trust me my attitude towards marriage has changed for better. Thank you Lisa may God bless you!

He always brings it to my face that I have Ego, am not submissive. I have left almost all my friends, I dont have a social life, in the name of submission. I feel I am no longer my self. I separated with the father of my child because he was a non believer and I am was born again.He used to stop me from going for over nights and i used not to hear or submit. I struggled with submission may be because I grew up with a single mum. We are now separated but i have learnt the hard way.

    Does a man ruling over a woman mean if he says you handover your entire salary and properties to him to manage, you go ahead and do it, so that he can manage them as the head of the family? I was looking to hear practical examples, because being led or leadership can mean different things. If my husband asks me to take a loan, do I just do it, because he is my leader? I wish you could give real life examples of submission when dealing with property and wealth management.

      Hi there! Thanks for asking.
      Like we mentioned in the video, we are not able to talk about all possible scenarios of what submission looks like. But I think we mentioned the key principles to guide and also emphasized the need for prayer, to seek help from trusted elders , friends or seek counseling.
      May God guide you 🩷🙏🏽

      Most of the things you have written are things you should discuss how to handle them. That is the importance of communication.
      If submission is not leading you to God that is not submission, its just obedience. You can submit without obeying some things especially which are leading you to sin.
      Submission means you submit your mission and goals to your husband's mission and goals which are substantial to the family growth.
      Things like income, property etc are things to discuss, but suppose your husband tells you go and steal or don't go to church will you accept??? If you accept it's you have obeyed not submitted.

    Keep your mind from thinking a certain way of your husband......think on what is true, noble, praise worthy about Him ...its only a matter of time before you act out what you think of him...or speak it (through intonation)....you can kneel today but what you think of him will eventually come out...#genuine submission....they can tell😅😂😂😂🎉

    Lisa....in Genesis ....We (Male and Female) were given dominion over the earth.....dadadaaaa.....NOW with the Fall.....Man was given to rule over Woman too.....Anti we talked to the snake😂....nwe.....we are naturally made to rule with Man....Naye kati that is part of our punishment.....so submission is actually not natural for women...but God helps us on every phase of submission required

      I know that happened after the fall in the garden of Eden but was
      that not redressed after the crucifixion. However I believe if you are with someone you love but most importantly trust submission becomes easy. It becomes natural then.

      Hi Esther
      You know in your heart that you won’t be able to submit. Better a broken relationship than a broken marriage.
      Ask God for wisdom but don’t be manipulated to stay just because he thinks he spent on you. You also were giving something in the relationship even if it wasn’t financial.
      Only you know best the motive and state of your heart. Make the decision with guidance from God and walk away the confidence in that decision

      @sarahnsubuga9724 8 місяців тому

      For me, time in fellowship and studying God’s Word has helped me fight off depression. It refocuses me on the Lord and who He is in light of my circumstances. I have gone through depression a few times - especially postpartum depression. Please speak with a professional counselor for support if you are battling depression.
      But also, as a stay home mum you should try to find something that you can do that is apart from home which allows you to interact with other people (if that’s your thing) or which allows you some time to reflect and be introspective. In other words find something that you enjoy doing outside the home and schedule it. Also if you can afford it, get help at home so that as you look after the children you have someone to help you with chores. That frees you a bit and allows you pockets of time to breathe.
      The challenges to look out for - feeling overwhelmed and not wanting to admit it. We all need help now and then. Ask for it.
      Another challenge could be focusing so much on the children and forgetting that you are also a wife. Your husband needs you too. So having help at home allows you time to rest and have some energy left for him.
      Sometimes choosing to stay home could affect your family income. Make sure that you are ready for this and that your husband is in agreement with your decision to stay at home so that you have the support that you need even when things get financially hard. Always remember why you are doing it so that when the going gets tough, you have your clear ‘Why’.

    • @anonnona6433
      @anonnona6433 8 місяців тому +4

      Hello dear. How did you become a stay at home mom? Was it your decision, were you forced by circumstances, were you forced by your spouse? Because I believe this is where it may start.
      2. Please remember that once the children grow up and are more independent eg if the last born is 10yrs, you can start where you left off or start a different thing altogether. In the meantime, if you have the resources, you could look for simple online courses that teach some skills or learn a new language. Or keep up-to-date in your field of study.
      3. You could get involved in your local church or if your children are going to school, you could get involved in the PTA, to get another sense of purpose.
      4. Ofcourse I don't know your full story but my last point is make peace with this season of your life knowing well that it will end. Whatever you can do for your home as a stay at home mom, do it cheerfully so that when you look back, you give yourself a pat on the shoulder for bonding with your children and creating countless memories.
      5. I hope you have the help and resources to occasionally take breaks, spend some time pampering yourself because you cannot pour from an empty cup. Wishing you well dear ❤❤
