Thank to your amazing guide I once again managed a gold league finish with minimal effort and little money spent.
This is my first time playing this event and your guides have been a god send, THANK YOU! I don't know if this is a good strategy or not for trying to place in bronze league but this is my thinking. I've followed your town tutorial(s) but then I stick around and get a couple more LONG tasks done since Rival hasn't hit yet. I'm currently here on T3 getting my shipyard to 288. The bronze level is currently at 88+ and I have 95. I still have all my boosts and 860 pots and only opening free chest (I think I effed up and gave a manager 1 too many levels on T1). I'm on 17/56 event quest. I dunno, it sort of feels like I can see when the majority of players have moved on to the next town when I see a spike in the tasks completed and each time I get those more tasks done they stack up and I ended up farther.
2nd run through. I have since installed FoEhelper. Bronze at 160+ and I'm at 194 tasks. (Festival lvl 282/300). 1,530 pots of gold, 3-2-1 on boosts, 29/56 event quest.
@@glennadams8707How did you do it so fast? I'm 186 tasks completed and always behind the goal (+20 tasks) for bronze #cries
@@javiervarela6895 Are you ever waiting on pots of gold to start your next town or progress your managers in current town? The first 4 towns I only opened the free chest at end and the last 4 I've been opening a 2nd. And sweet, town 8's 2nd box gave me a celtic glassworks! I'm currently on town 9 and getting my festival/shipyard up to 200 and awaiting 3B flowers task. Bronze is at 231+ and I'm at 285. 830 pots of gold. 6-2-1 on boosts. 36/56 event quest.
edit: just to add on day 2 or 3 of the event I had an incident that gave me 750 pots of gold plus quite a few 10's and 50's.

When does the Rival Challenge start?

If you're able to answer questions...I'm confused by the Time Skip challenges.
I used a Quick Promotion (hat) in the first town and noticed we don't get them with each new town (only on 3rd)... Then there's a Time Warp and Swift Sham Savings.
Which of these is meant to be the Time Skips? Of which we need at least 2. And how are we supposed to do multiple challenges when you only get 1 each? Am I missing something? Or is this only for people who pay to get them possibly? Thanks. Your videos are always greatly appreciated. I've done this Event I think this is the 3rd and it's my favorite. Thanks again. EDIT I just saw you added a video earlier today about this, will go check and see if it answers my questions...
I am almost done town number 3 and I have yet to get even one booster beyond the first three the game starts with, I do all the challenges except maybe one or two
As the boosters only come from rivals...how many do we get?

definitely something different with tasks live compared to video on this one (still invaluable) i'm not far in town 3 at ua-cam.com/video/N4vVV8xZGiw/v-deo.htmlsi=YpkSqu8CoXp0Pt_M&t=167 and my task list is different by 1. still the 1b shamrocks, 25 cake factory, but do not have the next full upgrade task, instead it's generate 25 billion cakes. that's with both festival and boat at level 50, and managers at 3. hats at 50, manager at 1. flowers at 25, manager at 2. and cakes at 5, manager at 2. going to wait it out for cakes at 25 and see if that brings up next upgrade task before doing festival/boat. finishing cakes to 25 brought up hats to 100... which brought up an upgrade 100 buildings (finally did boat/festival to 100) that led to unlocking drink factory. -- at about the 4 minute mark, my quests are now in line with the quests on your screen.
I don't quite understand the Rival thing yet...Are you saying that we should only do two towns in the first week. (I am about to finish my second town...Do I just sit around for a while afterward?)
It's up to you, depends on your strategy
@@MooingCatFoE I am doing the strategy where you buy all 6 chests and do the fewest amount of cities...I don't understand the relationship between towns and the rival...why do you suggest doing two towns in the first week and then nothing?
@DeliriumsYou need to wait for pots of gold, you'll get pots of gold and boosters from rivals, and because you do 6 towns you have plenty of time, no need to rush.

I must be doing something wrong because the 250 to 300 part seems to take almost 15 hours or and I'm following your exact instructions
In total 250 > 300 for both buildings will take about that long. In general if you feel like things are going too slowly always double check your manager levels.

MOO it's impossible to do 32 tasks in this town, in less than a day. Only 28. Because the 30th task is collect 10Q fireworks and this need more than a day. they probably changed tasks this year

@@MooingCatFoE my managers are correct 3 3 1 2 2 1 2 for the 3rd town. Now in my 6th city, again the 3rd variation, same problem, need festival level 4 M, to get the 32 tasks. So, you need to update the data

I don't understand. I'm doing everything like you in the video, same order etc and getting shipyard to lvl 288 took me 6h not 5 like you...
