Whattup B! Your videos are always so inspirational.. I love how you discuss topics that others may have come across or may find useful.. I bought my first brand new boat this year (2020 Tracker 175 TXW Tournament Edition) and I absolutely LOVE my 'tin boat'.. I don't think I'm quite ready for a glass boat payment or responsibility, but this is GREAT to learn on.. Thanks for the great information and keep catching those fish!! I hope you and the family are well, and continued good health and wealth. Take care.
B-Lat, I bought the same boat in May this year, it's blue. Your going to love it. I Can get over 20 rods in my rod locker. I got mine from Mountain Top in Lexington SC. FYI there is no pan under the trolling motor pedal cover. Crestline makes one that slippes right in. Move the side bartending to the third hole on each side makes loading the boat much eazier. And paid in the heak out of the bottom batton boards, powder coat is sticky. I'm sure you found that out already. Enjoy Brother.
Love this boat. And I have s 115 four stroke. A 2014 model. It has 2100 hrs on it. Plugs n oil and filters. Water pump change and gear oil. No bug issues. Love it and it'll get in the 50's when proper right
Man B you have an awesome life, you’re a GREAT Father, A great husband, a great friend and a great FRIEND!! I can go on, and on! You are giving your sons a GREAT life OUTDOORS,! Also you need to give that Tinner to your boy! Let him trick it out!
2 months ago i got a 2020 G3 20 BAY DLX with a 115 SHO 24v riptide and it is perfect for me being in maryland i can bass fish, crab, and salt water fish. and i love it!!!! and i completely agree with u when it comes 2 aluminum boats they r much easier 2 take care of with my fiberglass boat i had 2 keep it wax. but congratz on the new boat looking 4ward to seeing ur adventures in it.
Brian, I fly fish out of a canoe which means there is not a lot of overlap here between us...however, you nailed it for bass and inshore salt, boat control is everything. Without that, just pack it up and go home. Dude your vids are fun and very informative. Thanks
That's one hell of a bargain of a boat right there with the 115 Pro XS, bare bones with no accessories you just can't beat it for a boat at just over $30k, these are nice too.
Congratulations on the new rig! Hope you and your family are doing well and staying safe! That 115 Merc is a solid performer!!! Had one for many years,ZERO ISSUES!!
A new boat is fun. Been sending a friend in Kentucky a Mystery Tackle Box since June 2018, Payback. Electronics is literally a 2nd investment with a boat.
Yo! I bought an aluminum boat specifically so I could hit lakes on the weekend and take the occasional inshore trip for Reds and Trout. Love to see it man.
Sweet boat! I just started looking into Crestliners after I saw a couple of other youtubers get one. I want one after seeing how massive the front deck is on some of them compared to similar other brands in the same length.
I'm sure you are aware but Mercury sells a component for the motor "vessel view mobile" that Bluetooth connects to your cell phone to help keep track of engine hours, fuel consumption, engine faults etc... super easy and handy for the smaller Mercs!
I love my VT18 (last year’s model). I just have the 60 and it pushes it 32 mph loaded up. The 2 side boxes up front on mine are open all the way to the front
Nice video Brian!! yesterday I was in 1 ft of water fishing with my 19 ft aluminum boat, it is good to have something like this and done saltwater fishing with it too
I do believe going over board on trolling motors, I have a 1432 fishmaster jon boat (decked out) with a older motor guide digital 75lb thrust, it will last all day long no matter the conditions
yes great videos all of the ones i have watched, and two young fisherman coming up , good dad t show them fishing, like to see the young coming up to fish.
Awesome new boat! I'd really like to see just how you do load her up for a trip to the water. Like everything you are putting in it and why. From tackle to safety and to comfort! Thanks for the great videos!
Brian love the videos be careful with that trolling motor in saltwater. I am not 100% sure about that trolling motor. But usually the black ones are for freshwater only and are not sealed specifically for saltwater. Had one break after taking it in saltwater.
Very nice, saltwater trailer? Wish they made a hybrid, take out carpet for easy cleaning. Proper leaning post for ride comfort while keeping large front deck for rod storage and stuff. I have a 2006 Triton aluminum 1870 BaySport and ready to replace with new tourney aluminum, but newweeer is not always better! Enjoy your boat!
Great video, you answered some questions that I didn’t think to ask. I’m in Michigan and I have an aluminum boat and my current trolling motor ain’t cutting it....I know now to shop for a 24 volt trolling motor for better control. That will definitely help with jigging , Thanks
Might want to upgrade to a galvanized trailer because we were fishing a tournament and pulled the boat out and the tongue snapped because it was a regular trailer
I always thought you had to belong to a local bass club. If just rolling up and launching that's awesome. You made about 10 grand in upgrades my whole boat is not worth half the money in your upgrades . That's your hustle so if you can why not . From watching Wheelers channel is what brought me to your channel . Very avid supporter of you and your family nothing but the best for ya bro
I just got an XF 189 .. Honestly saw yours first and piqued my interest so ended up getting my first new boat ever.. but I want to put power poles on there as you have. Any chance you can show how you setup your pumps? Doesn't look like there is a lot of room in the battery compartment.
Love that boat. Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow or Friday. I got the silver one, I almost got the lime green one, but it was already sold. Congrats on the new boat buddy!
Looks good on the water. I seen it Saturday while i was on seneca river. Idk if i remember but i was in that skeeter going back amd forth around that island when u were messin around off shore from me. Thay island was poppin.
Do you worry about the salt water effects on the aluminum boat?? I’m a first time boat owner now. I bought a 2022 Bass Tracker Classic and I fish in brackish water and I’m no sure if I should be worried.
Excellent video! I'm located in the Upstate SC fish tournaments on Lake Bowen the majority of time..... also fish Greenwood, Murray, Wylie..... just purchased a '16 aluminum bass boat for me and my son's........ tournament fishing is hard with 2 boys ........ yet to have figure that one out......
Like your boat I just ordered me a new boat and I definitely would like to take some of your advice I'm not a Professional but I definitely grew up fishing just never could afford to really get a boat that I wanted and still not sure if I made the right choice but I ordered a Ranger RT 198P with a 150 merc pro xs with 80lbs goast 24v wish I could chat with you
Need to know where and how you mounted your Power Pole Hydraulics. Looking at getting a XF189 in the next few days and want to add the poles. Can we have more pics or even a video of how you mounted this one as you did for the G3. And keep up the great work. You have inspired me to want to get into bass fishing again.
@@BrianLatimerFishing Nope not false, had to send it back, salesman said trailer was ok for salt, rust specs started showing up, took it back and up graded trailer
Crazy timing. My XF 179 I ordered comes in next week. Ultrex. Power poles. Can't wait. Quick question tho, where did you put your power pole pumps? I know there isn't much room back there with three batteries.
Love the videos! So positive and inspiring. Thank you! Awesome new boat. Yes I would love to see how you stock it up. I watched your Adversity is Dope video on Bass U. Man that is on point! Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Blessings
Man I'm picking up a Nitro Z9 Today...... it does suck I don't have garage though.....but looking at a couple nice covers to at least keep the sun off of it but not a whole lot I can do about the cold
hey brian i met u last year and it was the best time of my life at the bass master classic when u won seminole great job mam
Hey, thanks!

Big rex be on fleek gang gang sauce drip splash ice on duh wrist 😤😎
I have a 16 year old Crestliner , I use it every weekend still gets it done just like the first day i got it . Great times are ahead for you fishing.

Sweet new rig! She was quite a bit faster than I thought, which is awesome. Hard to beat an aluminum rig for durability. Great video!
Love this boat. And I have s 115 four stroke. A 2014 model. It has 2100 hrs on it. Plugs n oil and filters. Water pump change and gear oil. No bug issues. Love it and it'll get in the 50's when proper right

Nice boat! I'm thinking about getting me aluminum boat to start off Tournament Fishing thanks for the info again very helpful.
Glad to help
Yo! I bought an aluminum boat specifically so I could hit lakes on the weekend and take the occasional inshore trip for Reds and Trout.
Love to see it man.
Hey B. Lat thanks for the video. I'm researching to buy my first boat and the tips you shared about aluminum boats are very helpful!
Love my 115 on my Ranger RT188P. She'll run 48-49 fully loaded. Thought about re-propping to squeeze a little more out of her...
Sweet boat! I just started looking into Crestliners after I saw a couple of other youtubers get one. I want one after seeing how massive the front deck is on some of them compared to similar other brands in the same length.
Huge fan Blat hope u get another win next season
What’s up Brian? Lol drop it like it’s hot! Matches the truck real nice 👍🏼 Congrats on the new boat, Crestliners are great boats, good luck B.Lat!!
Thanks 👍

Awesome info. I think I'll pull the trigger on a bass tracker with a 50-60 hp mercury.
Congrat's Brian, I also have an aluminum hull boat. A 2020 21FS from Avid. Love it...
I love my VT18 (last year’s model). I just have the 60 and it pushes it 32 mph loaded up. The 2 side boxes up front on mine are open all the way to the front
Love my Triton 18TX with the Merc Pro XS 115. He's right about the speed. I can run 51-52 on plain trimmed.
What prop? I have the same boat as Brian and I'm only getting 38 mph.
Got the same boat with the max package, with a 150 ProXS! I converted it to a jet drive, since i fish the shallow Susquehanna River!
Can you please let me know what prop you are running? I’m on the struggle bus trying to dial mine in. I have the 115 pro xs standard.

When you said Willacoochee I had to do a double take, my town is the last I expected to hear.
Maybe a good omen, I better go sign up for one.
Thanks for this video. Seriously considering that Crestliner. Would love to see how you would organize your gear. Thanks again.
Damn! She hauls for a 115! I'm impressed!

Very nice! She's fast too.
Brian could you say why you chose Crestliner over a Tracker or Ranger or Express please?
Price point would be my guess as well as it being a proven aluminum boat throughout the years.
Congrats on the boat.
Looking at That Crestliner, Triton, Lund 1975 Renegade, Bass tracker 195, Ranger
🤷🏻♂️all look good ??? 115 or 150
Nice boat sir. Your backup boat is 15mph faster than my old ass bass boat. Give em hell Blat
Brian, why not go to Ranger? I live in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and fish Pike.. you ever up this way give me a jingle..
Dude.....i am sooooo jealous.... Good luck....love the boat.......one day.....one day......
Must have a galvanize or aluminum trailer for salt water, rust will start after first trip to salt
