- I am not even sure I should post this video. I got this little aluminum bot to use as a little beater boat and to sneak around. I am really defeating the purpose by showing it but oh well. I stopped by Wetumpka Marine Electronics to have my tin boat rigged up and they outdid themselves.

We use it probably a dozen days each year on our small raft.-original review- We got this motor the other day and tested it out. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems good to me. It has all the features advertised - the motor housing is metal. We will see how it performs longer term and I will revise this review if needed. Some initial observations:- Good thrust, moves our boat around really well- It comes with a circuit breaker but no switch - so there's no way to kill the motor other than yanking the connection off the battery. I installed an inline switch.- The mount bracket is plastic and I worry it might break- There are a number of plastic parts that I worry about, but the most important ones are metal or some kind of composite

I'm a kayak angler myself but in 2 years when I retire from the Air Force I'm hoping to get me a Lund Renegade with the jumper seats so the family fits in it and I can get to some bigger water. Love the Aluminum boats!

DC I can definitely say you’ve lit a fire in me to get back out on the water. Been a long time since I relaxed and just wet a line! Love the little aluminum boat. I live one mile from a lake and have not wet a hook in that lake in 13yrs easily. And glad to see y’all using good ole Oklahoma based Head Country BBQ Sauce down in Alabama!(at least that’s what it looked like)

Ranger R61, 16 foot. Best of both worlds. Works fantastic for me in the Upper Chesapeake Bay, amazing for 2 people, 3 on a really nice day.

lol i had to run two leads on my bass buster back in the day.. man it weighed that little dingy down jack! ...and yea pulling them batts out every trip was a pain in the ass! ..im stuck to a kayak and the bank atm and id rather have the bass buster and a motor then a oar.
