This ‘object-less awareness’ Delson talks about as part of 8th Jhana - how does one reconcile that with dependant origination?
Consciousness without object of consciousness (six sense media and object of sense media) is something that I’m not personally aware of. Is there any Sutta reference to know more about this?

There is still an object. It is consciousness of mind itself. There is a luminous cognizing of knowing what is there.
