Wow.. I got interested in your video because you're a Male... I love it seen Man Cooking... I will be cooking this tomorrow ... Of which I know, it will come out well... One of the Best Afang soup Guy.... You did a very good job sir.
I want to make afang soup and I heard the leaves are not washed🙄😳😲 I can't imagine cooking with unwashed vegetable so I decided I will bring the leaves home, wash and blend with my blender. Thank God I found this channel 🙏 This recipe is straight to the point; no stress❣️ Thank you for sharing 🍹
Who ever told you that just wanted to mislead you. Afang leafe can be washed, but you to dry it after washing before you slice because you can't slice it with the water in it. But the already sliced ones you might come across in the market are already washed before being sliced.
You shouldn't had water while blending it, the water removes all the sweetness in it. You can blend or pound it dry, and that's the right way to cook it
i just discover this last week in Lagos in a buka hit and i love it i will add it to my diet as it is also very healthy green thx for the recipe been in western world can i mixed it with spinach?
Oga am sure you aren't from akwa ibom or calabar but so you know we don't drain water from afang and we don't add water ...no one send you ..cook what you know
i googled on youtube, white person cooking afang soup, thank god i didn't see anyone white cooking this i would have died laughing. But hay anyone can cook nigerian doesn't matter where you come from, just dont forget the scotch bonnet peppers!
Short and straight to the point with cost effective ingredients....kudos.

This is the best version of afang soup recipe I've seen on the Internet. Good work 👍🏼❤️
Nice one❤
I love the soup
Really appreciate the short and the emphasis of not adding water cos the leaves would generate water itself. 👍👍👍👍
Just seeing this channel. You are the best. Just simple. Thank you so much. Thank you 👍
Finally learnt how to prepare my favorite soup 🥰😘. Kudos man
I think the afang leaf is called Okazi not utazi. From what I know utazi leaf is bitter and it’s normally used for nkwobi, abacha and isi Ewu.
Oh yesss. Thank you so much for the correction ( I’ll edit the description )

It's a type of seafood that we have in Nigeria. You can check in Google to see what it looks like
Do u Wash ur afang before grinding
Yes I do
😂
You didn't need to strain the water
Hi Daniel. Please note, Afang leaf is *NOT* the same as Utazi leaf.
However, Afang leaf is the *same* as Okazi leaf. Regards
♥️♥️
You are simply awesome!! Followed u from TikTok, u sabi oo
Thank you so much ❤️
Where do I get crayfish powder?
Its basically the normal crayfish blended into the powdered form
Afang leaves is called Okazi not Utazi. Utazi leaves is bitter and is used for pepper soup mostly.
Oga am sure you aren't from akwa ibom or calabar but so you know we don't drain water from afang and we don't add water ...no one send you ..cook what you know
It is ukazi ( Afang leaf)
Not utazi
Ukazi not Utazi😉
Thank you 🙏

You don't know how to cook afang soup. You just end up misleading people here. How can you cook water leaf for five minutes?
