Identifying Yohji Yamamoto pieces can be a bit tough and collating info from discussions and other sources has lead to this video to hopefully help with figuring out where and what your piece is from.

Unfortunately I don’t have a Pokédex knowledge of pieces so can’t tell if they don’t have proper codes and stuff. But wow that is an old piece!

Hello! Do these guides apply to Ys for Men as well?

The seasons do not always match, however the layout of the tags to narrow down a timeframe definitely works.
However Ys For Men ended in AW09-10 and only just got revived in the last couple of years so everything that doesn’t have tags that match the current format will be pre then!

Does some yohji coats come without the laundry symbol tag (Attached to clothes)? I got some Pour homme pieces from SSENSE/Farfetch but it only came with the outside tag for material compositions, product ID etc

Sometimes the tags can be hidden in odd places, some of my pants it’s inside back pockets or front pockets, or in between layers. It should be somewhere ! If it’s a sample the white tag will just say SAMPLE with no other info on it too. But they should still be somewhere !
