  • Putin's war on Ukraine is entering week four. What is the Russian president's thinking, and what is his endgame? If anyone would know, it would be Dmitry Peskov. He has served as Putin’s chief spokesperson for more than two decades. He was at the president’s side during his rise to power. As a close confidante of Putin's, Peskov is also a high-profile target for Western sanctions. He joins the program from Moscow for an exclusive interview.

“The world needs to understand our concerns, that there are people in the world who are still not sufficiently afraid of Russia, and that don’t love us. We are concerned that other people have a negative opinion of us. That makes us feel threatened, when people are insufficiently terrified of Russia, or don’t like us very much. We, as the world’s biggest narcissist pussycats cannot tolerate that bad feeling and need to make the rest of the world feel as existentially threatened as we do when we think about Ukrainians, etc. not liking us very much. So we have a very good case for using nuclear weapons against Ukraine, as their misery and even extermination, is very important to us.”

She never shone a light. Putin said it directly previously in a public address to the world that Russia if faced with an existential threat would use nuclear weapons. The US used nuclear weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki when they were not facing an existential a threat but rather wanting a quicker end to the war. Putin in his 2007 Munich address bluntly warned NATO that it would never allow Georgia or Ukraine to join NATO. What followed was the war with Georgia in 2008. So why the surprise?? Do you not think the US would also use Nuclear Weapons again if facing an existential threat. That's why nuclear weapons exist now on both sides - to maintain a balance between powers .

Also, keep in in mind that Russia isn't the only country to have designs over foreign nations and territories: China has over Taiwan as well as much of Southern Asia, much like the Japanese did during World War Two. And it's really not a geopolitical surprise we see all of this blow up right NOW given how the talks in much of the world the past 14 years has revolved heavily on doing away with things like oil, coal, gas, etc.
China uses just as much coal as the entire world does, and much of it comes from Australia. It seems logical that the only TRULY existential threat Moscow is likely to face would be self- manufactured: by its own first use of nuclear weapons. What a suicidal tragedy that would be! If such an order ever comes to Russian officers: One can only hope they will have the wisdom & moral courage to refuse it, if only to save their own country-people. ✨

One would hope that i.e. wisdom and moral courage to refuse suicidal as a nation - if we're expecting rationale at the national scale.
But we disregard the obvious and more plausible occurrence of lack of rational thinking.
I want you all think for a split second of the case scenario ( we encountered in the past) when a leader either egomaniac either psychotic/mad is in a position of power to either manipulate large masses to commit suicide or to coerce masses to commit suicide for a "greater good" he invented.
And if at any point population would go against the idea - they were eradicated by the said leader or his goonies.
For such leaders the everyday populous lives have no value, hence no deterrent is that great to make them think twice shall the suicidal scenario would surface. The only priority being their own survival & psychotic ideas.

"dissappear" how it already happen. So I feel there's no win unless the powers that be around Putin -they put him down.
