Im so glad trump isnt president right now. Remember when he tried to help out Putin by suggesting that we repeal the Magnitsky Act? The Magnitsky Act hurt Putins wallet and Trump was going to try to help him out. The Russians even had a meeting in June 2016 with Trump to convince him to repeal it.
Read Bill’s book, “Red Notice”. Bill’s story is incredible and the heroic acts of his lawyer, Sergei, are something everyone in the world should know the facts of. His book tore the mask off Putin for me, and that’s how I came to realized Putin was truly evil.
It is a compelling read. It was a shocking eye-opener for me about Putin and his regime. Respect for Mr Browder and his tireless work for setting up Magnitsky’s Law. He was an honest man who was tortured and murdered by the evil Putin.
Yeah, but read Red Notice first. His more recent book, Freezing Order, is good, but it's tough to follow if you haven't already read Red Notice. Red Notice s a rip-roaring unput-downable story. The stuff of movies for sure.

I like this guy. Agree, of course. We have to throw everything we've got at Russia. If the Ukranians can stand being shelled, the rest of us can surely handle the fallout from the sanctions. The time to hold back and hope for the best is over.

In reality, the sanctions against Russia will have very little impact. Individuals, such as Putin, who are sanctioned don't have assets in the West. Russia has enough trading partners that they will trade in other currencies. The significant question should be not how Russia will suffer, but how the West particularly the US and Europe (mainly Germany) will suffer as a result of the inept actions of the Biden Regime. Olaf Scholz and Joe Biden have sold their citizens down the drain. The consequences of their actions are going to be extremely harmful to them. Already, directly as a result of Biden's diabolical threats, a new Russia-China Alliance has been created. They describe it as a "firm" alliance. In one stroke that alliance has ended US geopolitical world dominance. Russia is Europe's largest natural gas supplier, particularly for Germany (approx 46%), yet Scholz just announced weapons for Ukraine. I'm all for sanctions and helping Ukraine in anyway possible. But, "never corner a dangerous animal," or "a man with nothing to lose is dangerous." Especially one with access to nukes.

Russia has enough trading partners that they will trade in other currencies. The significant question should be not how Russia will suffer, but how the West particularly the US and Europe (mainly Germany) will suffer as a result of the inept actions of the Biden Regime. Olaf Scholz and Joe Biden have sold their citizens down the drain. The consequences of their actions are going to be extremely harmful to them.
Already, directly as a result of Biden's diabolical threats, a new Russia-China Alliance has been created. They describe it as a "firm" alliance. In one stroke that alliance has ended US geopolitical world dominance.

The Russia-China Alliance will include major energy co-operation. Dealings will not be conducted in US dollars. That will greatly diminish US petrodollars.

The world should have listened to the Ukrainian People and their Government before all of this happened. This man has vital knowledge and guts beyond imagination. Yes, and the entire free world should have listen to Bill Browder long ago.
Remember how many times Baltic states presidents long before Putins invasion in Ukraine in 2014 warned West about agressive nature of Russia state. Their warnings were ignored and long before Russia started to call Ukrainians a Nazi Russia propagands called Baltic states a Nazi. Masive military drills were held at Baltic state borders learning how to occupy them. Drills with 200000 manpower. Russian sanctions against Baltic states. Russian propaganda of lies were spreaded in the middle of Russian speaking population. Because of these lies and propaganda most Russians in Baltic states are Russian imperialists. Baltic states were forced into NATO. Even many Eurosceptics are for NATO in Baltic states.

I'm all for sanctions and helping Ukraine in anyway possible. But, "never corner a dangerous animal," or "a man with nothing to lose is dangerous." Especially one with access to nukes.

True enough, but he will know, and even if he's lost the plot every single person around him will know, that if he presses that button it's all over for him no matter what, which is why I don't think he will press that button. He still has a chance to maintain his power somehow even whilst the Russian economy turns into a complete sh*tshow, he's pretty much dictator at this point (which the recent bizarre Press events left no doubt about) and has a tight grip on the security structures in Russia. But if he presses that button, it'll be everyone for themselves at that point including everyone around him propping him up. Nobody wins when the other side has as many nukes as you do. 1 nuke to each of his beloved St Petersburg & to Moscow sends Russia straight back to the dark ages, that's not the case in the West, too many major cities.
I firmly believe someone will kill Putin rather than allow him to press that button if they're convinced he's going to press it.

Recent history shows it will gladly spend billions battling “evil terrorists” only to get embarrassed. Russia is not a rag tag criminal cartel with rpgs and pick up trucks. There’s a reason it shows no interest in overthrowing Kim Jung Un in N Korea despite his deplorable record as a leader.
