Multi plate clutches are less about the actual power handling (although that is a product of it) and more about usability. When a single plate is updated it gets harder to separate (heavier pedal). At a point you will no longer be able to press the pedal as the clamping force required is more than you can push on the pedal. A multi plate distributes the energy between the plates requiring less clamp force for the same power handling (well torque handling).
I have the same clutch, i gained power instantly with this clutch, Erik is a cool guy. He gave me a Action clutch key chain, a few lanyards. Make sure u spray some parts cleaner on each part before installing them. They lube them to prevent rust or oxidation n some people install them straight out of the box n then u glaze it quick. Im only on 603 whp 22 lbs LSV stock open sleeves.
I hate to be the one with the negative comments but I had a really bad experience with Action and their customer service. Just reading thru the emails with them infuriates me lol I will never purchase one of their products for any of my projects again. I’m glad it worked out for you. Maybe they got some new people dealing with their customers now.

Action clutch a really reputable brand used them a bunch of times and never had a problem with them glad u got a good deal on it.

I have the same clutch be forwarned you have to use sohc flywheel bolts or auto trans flywheel bolts and red loctite and 100ft lbs
Why do you say auto trans or sohc flywheel bolts ?
@@SPTuning the regular are too long and dont get tight i tried regular and arp b series pro flywheel bolts both are too long
