Just an FYI that Smooth Cannibal posted a vide outlining a really easy way to farm the chips solo. Go to the Mapon system, go to 6A, go to Pelissier's Command settlement. There are only Revenants at the settlement when you arrive, no Banshees. Nuke em with AX missiles and send in your collector limpets, you've got about a minute before their big brother shows up. I was able to collect 6 chips before I was driven off. Just supercruise out of there, come back, and repeat.
So I tried to figure out how to get Tactical cores solo I started with a 'conda with scarab SRVs 🙄 After taking out a Banshee with a Scarab, I determined that Scorpions would be needed. I took out 5 banshees with a Scorpion but got swarmed by Revenants at a bad time and had to start over I brought in 4 Sirius Missile Racks and two Azimuth MCs and used the ship to clear the Banshees and Scouts. The limpets were bad so I landed and took out Revenants with my Scorpion Finally, I had a situation where a scout would drop a few Revenants over and over. I farmed this until I finally had to leave...netting 66 cores total. After this comedy of error, I determined it might be best to see if I can find an occupied settlement instead...
Hey fella, love the insight, much appreciated. Can i trouble you to put together some example corvette / conda builds using the new tekk? Big ship fun! Would be nice to see some love for them, even if their rebuys are "cost prohibitive"
I am having a super hard time finding the coarse hull surface thingies, they don't seem to show up. Guess I'll have to continue trying. So far I've only found limpet points and tissue stuff.
1) Turn night vision off if you have it on - it makes it incredibly hard 2) Look for bright-green dots on the hull, on the upper side of the Titan only 3) I believe a pulse wave scanner makes them glow - try that?
After getting the Mbooni upgrades first, I feel like I skipped a step with the whole guardian field resistance weapons. Do I still need to get some AGF modded weapons or will Mbooni modshards do alright for AXCZ and the like?
Modshards are fine for AXCZs, the only issue is that glaives sometimes spawn at planetary CZs which may give you some issues as they have AGF. You'll only want AGF resistant modules for Spires and Titans but even for those Modified Shards or Plasmas are just fine (if not better) for Spires and Missiles work just fine for Titan Core damage. Shards are nice to deal with Cyclops in Titanspace though.
This was the topic that pretty much made me uninstall the game. Just senseless grind after senseless grind. Especially for something that didn't need to happen in the first place: Nerf Guardian modules and render them paperweights, implement feature to make them relevant again. So, it was basically, "grind to get back to where we were..." And so I said to myself, "Yeah...they're grasping at straws here. I'm out. After 10 years." Ships inaugurating in the Arx store and rendering A-rated drives obsolete was the cherry on top.

Good stuff
Caustic crystals can also be found in titans debris.
same goes for Hardend Surface Fragment

@@Astyrrean Thanks, it might be the night vision, I'll try it😅 I did try the pulse, but NV on might have ruined that too.

Can these garbage mats be purchased from fleet carriers? Otherwise I'm out.
Negative. These are materials, not commodities. They cannot be bought or purchased at all.
