@@campNcrawlR My dealer is taking a full day to install the aux switch bank and adding Everblade Heated Windshield Wipers. I don’t think I could have done it if it is taking them so long. I hope it doesn’t get screwed up.
Loved the video, but found the music distracting. Yes there is wire access under the hood, but I also would have enjoyed information on the wires located under the dash inside the vehicle.
I’m having my Jeep dealer install the aux bank switches as I watch this. I asked that my heated wiper blades be installed on Aux 3 as it supposed to be 15 amp. They called and told me my Gladiator is 40amp Switch 1 and 3 and switches 2 and 4 are 15amp. I really hope they don’t screw it up.
the wire bundle in the passenger's kick panel, do you happen to know which fuse goes to the orange/pink - ignition accessory and red/white - direct to battery? blew the fuse for the ignition switch one and I can't find it.
Really good video thanks. Real quick, what kind of stubby bumper is that in in your video. I really like it and want to put something like that on mine. I special ordered my Gladiator Mojave with the 4 switch panel because the few the dealer had on the lot did not have it. It was a requirement for me. When I asked the dealer to throw in the switch as an aftermarket add with my purchase they declined. I am glad after watching this video that I chose to order mine Mojave with the 4 switch panel.
Hey Mark, that certainly looks to be the factory steel bumper that can be ordered on the Rubicon as an option. By what I see, it is identical to mine on my 2021 Rubicon JL. Hope that helps even though it's been a while sense you asked the question.
Where did you get those ?D-Ring? mounts for your front bumper? I MUST have them and SOON! The ONLY thing I don't like about my front bummer is that I don't have those! I must have them, please share!!!!
so you baisically wire a connector to the auxillary wire, and then you plug in the connector from the lights into the connector you wired into the auxillary wire, please correct me if i'm wrong
Will the vehicle give you an aural sound if you leave the button on and turn off the ignition or will the switch turn off once you turn off the ignition to prevent the battery from draining?
I've heard that it will but you also need a relocator bracket, looking into it for mi gladiator, didn't come with them. $554 🇨🇦💰 & then: you need tools to put some micro pins into your main harness, and get a dealer to plug their computer into the vehicle to provide you with the software for the u connect screen so you can change the setup of the switches from there. so not a cheap option to add if you dont have it. the mechanic looked at me and said, aftermarket switches much cheaper.
Great Video! Question, how did you connect the two hot wires coming from each light into the OEM auxiliary wire? I purchased the Baja Deign LP4s and i'm going to have to modify the wiring harness that came with the lights because is comes pre-connected with a fuse, relay and switch.
The KC lights I was installing in this video came with a pre-wired harness that looped both lights into it, so I just had to connect the end of that harness and ground it.
Not how that works. The winch is powered via an Aux switch (most are constantly powered and direct battery wired/no aux switch) but the pay in/out is controlled through the winch control box, the aux switches are only fused switches to control power no different than a light switch in your house. The in/out is done via winch control box. Separate thing.
This video does not show how to wire anything. He shows that the wiring is done and that is it. If you're looking for a video to show you how to wire your fogs or other lighting, this is not the one.
Nice that the jeep has the leads already connected to the switches!
Idk what’s more ínstense. That Jeep or the Motley Crue in the background lol ! 👌🏻
Thank you for the information. I am an electric nightmare waiting to happen. Should be able to handle this on my own.
Great vid man!!!! I’ve had my Gladiator for about a month and never knew about the wiring! Lol well deff. Be easier! Thanks for the vid!
Rlphsalazr1 thanks for the feedback!
I didnt get the auxiliary switch group on my Gladiator and your making me wish I did!
Did you ever add it? I hear it's a pretty straightforward mod.

Thank you very much for such a clear and concise video. 😊
Great video. On a side note - where did you get the shackle mounts for the bumper?
Thanks. These are the d-ring mounts I used: amzn.to/3rKVqci
Appreciate the video, helped me a lot.

Good stuff, do you need to disconnect power to the jeep when doing this? doesn't look like you did?
I didn’t, but it never hurts to disconnect the battery when doing anything electrical.
Switches 1 & 2 are 40 amp, and 3 & 4 are 15 amp

If you turn on the buttons that don’t have anything hooked up to them will the on indicator light turn on on the button?

Thanks for this video! this is great
Hello, I would like to know if you used the relay that comes with the original KC cables or you just eliminated?. thank you
No need for it. Just cut it off.
Great video! What did you use the other aux switches for?
Best tutorial! Thank you!
Happy to help!
Awesome,super easy,thanks brother 👍
Happy to help
Do you still need to connect the lights to the battery?
What about the on/off switch that came with the harness?
You don’t need it. Just cut it off.

Thank you
Will the vehicle give you an aural sound if you leave the button on and turn off the ignition or will the switch turn off once you turn off the ignition to prevent the battery from draining?
It just depends on your settings. Go into your Uconnect and you can decide how you want that to work.
Great video. It just sucks to have to fight to hear what you are saying over the music (and I love MC).. next time, turn it down, better yet, off.
I agree great Video.
Just wondering if you experienced any radio interference after the install.
T-Tops For Life, none that I’ve noticed.
I noticed it looks like you have a MOPAR lift. Are those REAR shocks on the front or did you get shock covers for the fronts?
John K that’s the stock Rubicon suspension. No lift yet.
@@campNcrawlR My mistake. Didn't realise you have a JT. The JL Rubicon does not have FOX shocks. GREAT video.
How about the winch ??
Did you wire the winch to the Auxiliary switch ??
I did not. I do plan to eventually get a relay system to do that.
I’m being told that the kit won’t work on a jt with the diesel ???
What kit, the OEM aux switches?

Home now
Would it make sense to use Aux 1 & Aux 2 for the winch? As in 1 could be winch out and 2 could be winch in?
Not how that works. Where are the Aux fuses located?
In the fuse box
Music is a distraction!
The music is very distracting

What exactly did I not show, that you need to know?
Probably how to connect the wires. I’m a newbie and I now understand how to do it but still wanna know how to connect the wites
You didn't show how to wire it, lousy video.
