Is it worth me doing this knowing that it'll void my warranty?
It all depends on your situation. I already can feel that it has worn down a bit and it feels weaker. Personally, if you have the money I would recommend buying a new shifter. Otherwise be ready to pay 7$ every 6 months to keep the 3drap mod feeling good.

I ordered the mod yesterday and just found this video now. Was that a mistake? Although I do think in 4 or 5 years, with the replacement parts, the entire shifter setup will still cost less than the SHH
Sorry to say but in my opinion it was a mistake. After a months use (driving everyday about an hour or less) this thing was shot so bad it would slip into gear with my pinky. So $37 it was shipped to my house, then every month i have to get a new part which is $10 and then shipping on top of that.... after 5 years thats $600 without shipping! The SHH is only $125 shipped.

How's it holding up & why did you have to remove your velcro mod?
It's worn down a ton. Now it takes just as much effort as stock but still has a little bit more notchy feeling. I had to remove the velcro as it prevented my lever from going into the notch on the mod cambio. I have now upgraded my shifter to an SHH NEWT that feels absolutely fantastic and I will be reviewing soon :)

Wouldn't call it a toy tbh :D And for example, the csl elite, it has some type of fabric that I forgot the name of and it gets really dirty if used without gloves

Seriously? -_- wether it's a toy or not makes no difference. Gloves provide extra grip and sure as hell prevent unnecessary wear and tear from your sweaty hands!
