Truly appreciate your in depth review! Would you say the Holy Stone is the top model in the $250 category? Any other model which maybe didn't get an honorable mention? I'm a first time user and I'm looking to stay under that price point for my first drone. Thanks.
Try BUGS 16 pro dude. I keep wondering why these lists keeps saying HS720E is the better budget drone when BUGS 16 has the same price, has a way better 4k camera AND a 3 axis gimbal. This is coming from someone who does video production for a living.
I bought my MINI2 six months ago. Since then the MINI3 PRO has been released, but for what I need a drone to do, the MINI2 is still the King. I live near an airport so the 249grams is a big deal. It's a brilliant little drone. I'll be buying an Air2s soon for more robust environmental conditions.
Thumbs up for the video! I have the DJI mavic air 2! I use stealth propellers but what were those wild looking curved props that you showed on the air 2 at 7:02?
That is a great idea but the thrust to weight ratio will suffer means it will need a higher ampere to counter the weight and the higher the ampere the faster your battery dies. So basically putting panels are not worth it and it will also affect the pricing of the product.
I actually tried a couple times. The Wiads I used are as follows: #1- SYMA X8'C #2- ZLRCSG 906 Beast Pro 2 #3- el cheapo ( o name), Dollar General FPV Quad I used 1 o 2 150mm X 75m panels only. No frame., weight about 47gm Each produce around 3.2 to 5. 5 vfc in full sum, and not too many mAh 60-60? On the ZLC Beast Pro 2, with the axis gimbal, a stock 7.6v 2200mA and 7.6v 340 mA batts. It already had decent flight time. 15 minutes or less with smaller battery. 1- They were UGLY AS HELL. 2- Adding them kept the arms from folding. Won't fit in the case. Bad. 3- REALLY affected aerodynamics in a negative way. Bad wobb8in forward flight, prop'wash at landing was horrible!!! Was like trying o land on a kid's rubber bouncy ball. That would never stay under the wia. 5- The added weight was negligible and so was more flight time. AND The el cheapo Dollar Store drone probably was affected most. Too much weight. Actually shortened flight tim. Too much payload. 3PAYLOAD. 3- SYMA X8C probably benefitted most. I had already added a pair of ' floats' 60 X 450mm EPP foam. On extended DJI Phantom legs. I installed the panels on top of the floats. One under the front motor, and the 2bd below the rear notors. Hot glue.6" and 10" wires directly to batt plug. No, no charge controller. It didn't change how it flew at all The foam floats already destroyed any aerodynamics the designers had in mind. I initially removed a little weight The stock FPV unit. Replaced it with a TINY APP AIO camera a 70mA lipo Less than 9gms added back. I also removed the rear prepaid too. So, I don't ha6a total of weight, added or removed, but probably added 20-30 gm max. Added flight time . Maybe 2 minutes. Maybe? I'm not an engineer My notes aren't perfect or consistent. In short: it still flies about the same. It lost some " punch " at take off. It flew the same. Like a brick. Adding solar panels, floats, snd a 5.8gHz AIO and an HD camera allows better video and pics. I can still land or take off from the la. I WILL NOT say it looks sleek and stylish. It looks like someone with good ideas some RC gear knowledge, and decent skills tried. It was fun Learned a little. Is it still assembled? Yep Am I gonna put it back stock? Nope ( To someone that doesn't know much about the hobby, they're going WOW!!!! AWESOME!!! Bet that cost a LOT....... That's like for " PROS: Me. Yep. LMAO.
Great video. I'm looking to buy my first drone and really like what I'm hearing about DJI. I've seen many videos on the DJI but I can't find the DJI fly app and have no idea if it's compatible with my Motorola g5 Android. Any ideas??
Do the DJI drones still require that screen to calibrate the visual sensors? I remember the Mavic pro requires this screen from like Japan that’s expensive for almost no reason other than it’s the only one left that had the format that could show the box pattern that the drone could see. So if you wanted to properly calibrate your drones gimbal and visual sensors you had to drop another $600.
I think the best drone ever made by man is Zero Zero's v-coptr. Luxurious, stable and precise flight, solid durability it looks like a single black bird flying, a quadcopter is no fun, and a hobby drone is a bicopter.
Which company offers the best support for replacement parts? I think this is a very important factor when making a purchase. Trust me, if you're just beginning, you're going to crash quite a few times and might need replacement parts. Don't ask me how I know 😁
I just bought a DJI and learned too late that there was a software update that has been turning everyone's drones into a useless waste of money. What surprises me even more is how little information you can find on it. I was looking forward to using this brand until I read the comments for the app in the app store. Once I activated my drone and updated the software I was met with disappointment as the screen read unable to take off. All the horror stories in the comment section about flying great and having fun one day to not flying for weeks and months with a lousy customer support that doesn't have any solutions are true. If you find yourself daydreaming about becoming a drone pilot and you think DJI is the way to go go another way. I was really let down, and not gonna to lie a bit heart broken that I have to shop around for something else and wait to get that good feeling of being able to take flight.
Don’t buy parrot the support team is outside the US. So if you so happen to want to send to get fix they will tell you, you simply can’t! This happened to me when I purchased the first Parrot Bebop. I paid $600 for a drone I was never able to fly! Still sitting in the box!
Amazing how fast a video like this can become almost totally obsolete... Both DJI drones have been superseded, and I don't care enough about the other to check, but I suspect they are still good considering the price.
I don't care about the camera I just want an affordable drone that flies good. I don't even want a camera. It's extra money and weight both which of I don't have much of right now
In that case you can buy any toy drones at a price less than $100 - you can even perform aerobatics with them. These Holy Stone or DJI drones are for photographers and creators but not for drone entheusiatics.
Relax you do need a License. It’s not about how easy it is to control these drones, but the safety of people is at risk. If you don’t fly within the rules and regulations? There will be consequences of some sort.
DJI Definitely has the distinction of being top of the line. BUT........ If its hard or impossible get : PERMISSION to take off. Constantly check for updates. Wait whi9it does is ' self check' check the area for " no fly" zones, bypass flight options just lift off, and more........NOPE NOT ME I have a SG700D, × that is FAR OUT FFING FANTASTIC. No GPS, but its alt hold and position hold are next to none No registration required. My Hubsan 507A has GPS, and I paid $40. Delivered in 3 days. They are about $65 now. I'm gonna get another just to have. Event L/SG Beast Pro 2was less than $150 AND its Almost as good. BETTER if you consider price.
Risking being fined or even arrested is not a good idea IMO. Well, I do agree with you that DJI's self checking is somewhat annoying but you can hack its system to bypass the limitation.
Lol wow the holy stoner droner has brushless motors, um all drones of quality do , what year are we living in here ? Is there a company who makes brushed motor drones , im not talking micro china junk here

You Should. Thanks for watching
dji will brick your drone if you don't register it to the government.
@@3flyte_3flyte So your saying saying the Mini 2 I bought today will get bricked if I dont register it? If so, how do I do that?
Do you have a links for Japan?
Yes awesome review. I Need one of this as well
For sure. I got one for my self as well
@@Shopifun And which one did you choose?
I've been dreaming about it for a year now
I feel so much more educated after watching this one. Great video!

It is very interesting to present information, I like it
It's good that I opened this video, they helped me a lot.
Nice job! The flight of the drone is simply fascinating
I wish I have a time for this kind of channel. I made one video it’s take so much time 🤦🏻♂️
I know that. We working hard to provide the best content. Thank you for watching

You gotta be joking
DJI is the best 100%
Thank you
For me, a Drone would be the best gift
Wondering if they've ever thought of putting a small solar cell on top to help keep the batteries charged longer while in flight
That is a great idea but the thrust to weight ratio will suffer means it will need a higher ampere to counter the weight and the higher the ampere the faster your battery dies. So basically putting panels are not worth it and it will also affect the pricing of the product.
@@UnknownUser-tx5rc True, the only thing that will help battery life for drones are batteries that are more energy dense.

Unfortunately it would not be powerful enough for a drone but an RC plane has been done before.
Good thinking, Mr Wizard! Also they should mount a diesel engine to make it fly all the longer
It was a really great video, but I want to know your recommendations for those who buy a drone for a child
Thanks for the video review, the drone is my dream
Love DJI's is the best at this moment
You can't argue with that
Where do you get the stock footage from?
9 minutes flight time not even close to my electric scooter.
Nothing you can do. Your scooter is a lot bigger. Thanks for watching
Well done, thumbs up, new subscriber
So if you had to pick one..just one..for awesome videos..what would you pick and why
you know what I think DJI Mavic Air 2 is the best drone on this list

Why do you have a video about 2022 if there is no 2022 yet?

DJI is the best product 100%
does the holy stone 720e have a camera zoom feature?
For best drones for 2022 I question that. You by passed one of the best and that is the DJI Mavic 2s but included the DJI Mavic 2 and the 2 pro
Great

Too informative but now I'm confused suggest me best drone to buy
I'm still impressed with my Mavic 1 only thing I'd want to ad is flir camp

I made an x star red drone it is large and famous it is called December D21
Don’t most drones use brushless motor tech ?
And mavic 3? It doesnt exist? Cause ive had all mavics and the 3 is better than the 2 pro and the 2 zoom by far
