- Опубліковано 2 жов 2024
- Today we will be harvesting the last of our 2023 corn crop! Matt is using his old 1460 International combine to get the job done. Mason is driving the 1650 Oliver and hauling loads back to the farm. While the old Farmall Super MTA is powering the Kewaunee Elevator to get the grain into the grainery. Thank you all for watching. Let us know in the comments what you thought of that awesome combine!

Nice job Matt, the 1460 is a beast and looked great with our flag flying. GOD bless America!
Sounds like a dream, that 1460 has been taken care of like a loved one.
1460 rwa is a sweet looking old combine. Looks like he owns that head just for you guys as rusty as those snouts are. Good video, thank you.
Best regards from Indiana.
Great video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Isn't it great to see a combine that has paid for itself?! How many times... Mercy! 1981...
Thanks for flying the colors, Matt. Salute.
Been ALOT of corn shelled with 1460s. Billions! Good to see some still gettin' after it.
TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO GUYS😅
Great video with a fantastic layout. God speed. Eaglegards...
Wow!! I didn't know they made combines in 1460. It looks in great shape. 😂😂
It makes me feel good to see your farm/dairy at work. It is the basis and strength of our country. I admire and envy you. Honest and real people.
I remember delivering a couple of those combines back in the early 80s.
Good to see the old red combine again. Looks like the Oliver is doing well. Always look forward to your videos. My hat arrived today in a nice sturdy box and looks like a real quality hat! 👍👏🇺🇸
In 2003 was the last year for us shelling our own corn and trucking it to we used 80 c70 to haul it a new idea mounted sheller and then we used our old hay elevator and we still have all of it still sitting in the shed 20 years later
Thanks to all vets love that flag harvesting good clean feed for winter with good older American machines couldn't be better
Love the old machines! So much more than old machinery the hard work< satisfaction and pride.
Merry Christmas to the Gierok family. God Bless you all!
And the day we are watching this is a Day That Will Live In Infamy! Dec 7th, Pearl Harbor
Love seeing the older equipment used. But how do you keep the corn from getting moldy. Do you have some way of blowing air into the corn to dry it down any
Thank you
I spent a lot of time riding in my Uncles 1440 picking corn.
Another great video, that was the day before we did our corn. Good to see that combine working well. There is one like that for sale in our area at the moment in very nice shape. Did you do any planting with the 6 row John Deere or is that another harvest video coming up? Thanks
can you still get parts for the 1460? a little wax would shine that old girl up.
It was great to see the BIG RED MACHINE still doing a wonderful job being 42 years old. Great video. Always enjoy!😊😊
In it's day, it was HUGE. Now it's a small unit. My how things have changed.
I got A Case Ih 1460 combine yet , only 4100 hours on it too .....and its for sale because im retiring from farming 😎
Great to see Red Power at work. Loved the Flag on the auger.
Pretty cool video, do got to say the 1460 sure does fit it nicely, I'm courious what combine yall would buy for the farm if ya were going to buy one.....
What is the latest on the Oliver?
Love video we had 1460 but with 6 row head in the late 80's...good see one still running...with 6 row in 200 bu. corn if wet going to dryer...about have to set stakes to tell if moving sometimes...but always good combine...it's crazy what new stuff cost I was out to my friend that still farms, he was putting on new deck plates & rollers on 8 row J.D. corn head $20,000 for parts !!!
That old of a machine and it spits out fairly clean grain I'm impressed!!
Another awesome video with the old iron at work. Thanks guys.
Yes, I loved seeing the American flag on the combine especially on Veterans Day. Glad to see the 1460 still earning her keep.
Love that dog stealing an ear. Weve got one that does the same thing.
What happened to the Hill side combine
What a view . Doesn’t look like Oli is having any trouble 👍. Love seeing the older equipment making it happen .
Good job good job I like watching This video it's Awesome We'll watch on the next one Stay safe stay healthy
Got the hat!!! It's awesome to see old iron work still!!
"Great job.... I don't have to manage everything". That's high praise to sons everywhere! Great video, loved the "old" combine being run by a young guy, building his own custom operation!
Did you guys plant with 2 planter because isn’t the 7000 narrow row and you guys harvested wide
You should give Matt a Gierok Farms Hat, you know, Matt in the Hat. Let me know if I can replace Old Glory on his combine. His is getting a little tattered.
Great video from a fantastic family. Feel like I am a distant cousin thank you
Love seeing Red Power in the field.
Great video I like watching all of the old small iron reminds me of growing up on the farm
It would have looked a lot cooler if the farmall tractor was hooked to the wagon since you had that international combine harvesting your corn
Filmed on veterans day and posted on Pearl Harbor Day 🇺🇸🇺🇸❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love watching ur small farm shows ur don’t need Bunch of new equipment to make it work great job
Glad to see your harvest come to an end. At least the ground conditions were good...so the field didn't get all tracked up. The 1460's are carrying some age, but with some TLC and needed repairs they'll still do the job. We ended up with a newer 1460 this summer after our old one had some major issues in the cleaning area. Planning on swapping some parts and tinwork between the two to get one reliable machine. Also got a narrow row corn head in the deal that needed some repairs. Not pretty, but got it operational.
Great viceo Guys Awesome job to all
Super operator, Matt: double high 5's. Went slow, picked up downed corn AND when plugged , threw the cobs back into the combine. Nice touch on Vets day! Good job on the camera, yellow waves of grain was outstanding!
Loved the flag, specially honoring the vets....big thank you to you all.
Great job Matt and Gierok boys, that's a sweet combine.
Y-e-a-h, IH Combine 👏👏👏😀 Thank you. (N.G Indiana)
Working
AW SOME NAMED WITH MY NAME I'M HAPPY TO SEE HIM. HAPPY HOILDAYS
good seeing experienced iron going strong good looking elevator always wondered what kind of bearing they had on that upper end of the kewanawee
I thought you had the deere combine your corn
An auger would have been a better option to use for shelled corn and it wouldn’t take long to empty the wagon just so the combine wouldn’t have to sit and wait to get unloaded
Thank you veterans! The flag on the back is awesome
love the why yours farm great job thank you
I think the kids could do a whole lot more if dad would let them.
The Oliver seems to be completely fine!
Great video! That was also great seeing an old 14 series IH combine running. It looks like it did a pretty good job cleaning. I’m partial to those because that’s what I use to own. You all seemed to have a really nice crop this year. I like to see folks who work really hard as you all do be rewarded for your efforts! Well done!
Man the old Mta rips right off! Good old gas tractors! Oliver too! Good to see a classic Axial Flow. Good video!
That corn in the combine tank sure looked nice and clean!! Not bad for a 42 year old combine!! Thanks😊.
Great video again and so nice to see the older equipment still being used today and doing a great job also.
A very nice video.
COULD YOU POP RIVET A PIECE OF TIN ON THE ELEVATOR TO COVER THAT CRACK?
Love seeing vintage equipment still working strong. This model was common around our area back in the late 70's early 80's. Great video and have a safe and blessed weekend.
Great video Aaron!
Memories… glad there are still farmers out doing it the right way
How much land do you guys have
Is the combine 4 w drive
Thank you for adding the date that the video is being done.
Love to see the old equipment working so well and being useful. Also love the flag on the combine. So appropriate, especially for veterans day.
My dad was farming and was fortunate to get into the service relatively close to the end of WW2 and then ended up in the Philippines. So appreciative of all of those who served and represented us well. He was in the navy, was older and had terrible eyesight, but landed a job with the mess hall. Really disliked certain music he said was played during his trip over on the troop carrier. Said that the night after the Indianapolis was sunk, most everyone had to sleep on the deck. Had to teach my mom how to drive a car before he went over, leaving her with 2 young children at home.
Brilliant 👏 👏 👏
Really appreciate your family and there hard work that you guys do....❤❤❤
Hi River!
Watch out for those elevators, I had the cable break on use when we were raising it. Very lucky know one was under it.
Would love to have a hodge three x with your family farm name....
I always liked the look of the high tin on the IH corn heads.
Love your content.😃
What would that combine be worth ?
I heard about a dyslexic farmer who called his tractor a revilo.
Loved my 1460.
shuld change Old glory on the combine.
Thanks for the video! Loved it! I like watching the old school stuff way more than the new machines. I grew up on a small 120 acre farm . Dad worked full time at a grain elevator & farmed on the side. Us boys helped out when possible. Our first combine was a four row Oliver. Had that for only about 4 years then got a gleaner F four row. Had that for about 17 years then got a JD 4400 four row. Had that for just 3 years then dad got out of farming & moved to town. A 3010 JD ran an ear corn auger similar to yours. A white 1-05 pulled the gravity wagons. We left one wagon in the field & I pulled one a mile too town or to the bin then come back & exchange wagons. Brings back memories! Thanks again!
We've got the little bit newer version of the 1460 ours is a 1660 we've picked corn cut wheat and soybeans for the past 10 years, retired it towards the end of harvest this year due to breakdown had close to 6000 hrs on it replaced it with a lower hr 1660 we will see how many years we get out of it, at least we've got spare parts. @pughfarms
Another great show big red got the job done
Thanks for sharing the video. Nice looking job with the combine. The old 1460's are good machines. Nice touch with the flag especially on Veterans Day.
You guys have an awsome farm! Was watching a bunch of your corn videos, is your row spacing 36 or 38 inch? Thanks God bless !
😊😊😊😊😊
I love seeing working antique equipment, alot nicer than those mega big tractors that you see alot of now
Tudo bem tudo bom tudo joia 👍👍
Looks like he only does your combining. The old thinng is rusty has old iron on.the headed. 😊
Red power ,growing up with it and now only seeing it occasionally, thanks
