Just did the job myself, this video gets all the credit, thank you!
Changed my belt in less than 10 minutes. I didn't really need the whole video just liked the tips and tricks on how to do it quickly.
I love how i watch these videos After i spend the whole day replacing the belt but also the alternator this helped for future references
Thanks so much, Guys! I just changed my first serpentine belt ever...and I got it on the first try. Lol. Great video!!!

Am very happy to training whith u guys
This helps a lot. Gotta pull the belt off to replace the crankshaft position sensor. Just needed to see what I was getting in to.👍
Thanks, guys! This video helped me do the job .... almost six yeras after you made it.
+ross kelly We are happy to have helped you out!
Great video make short work of it on my Navigator thank you very much
great stuff!
Thankyou!
Thanks, I only needed to find the hole but it helped!!
Put some hair around it next time. you'll find it.
Telling you rn you need that metal pipe, me and my buddies couldn’t pull the tensioner without it
Seems the 2009 E250 Econoline 4.6L w/ac only has one idler pulley an it is just above the tensioner pulley other than that they're similar. One thing the darned van does not give one much room to work plus you have to stand on a step ladder to access the engine properly.
Took me longer to drive to auto zone to get the part than it did to replace it
How long is the belt? I pulled mine out of an 07 4.6 and it was close to 100” the felt from the auto parts was 84”
Thank you was very easy using the 1/2 breaker bar with pipe. took maybe 5 minutes to replace

+bsdibbs Thanks for watching. 1aauto.com
It used to be unloosen the alternator bolts two minutes take the belt off put the new belt on tighten the alternator bolts done and not even a dirty hand total time 5 minutes
Missed the screwdriver as far as items needed for intake removal from throttle body. I tried using the half inch ratchet it was only tool listed. Didn't work .
+Michael Johanson Well did you try the piece of pipe? haha ;) You know, it's odd because we mentioned in the audio that you need a flat-bladed screwdriver, but somehow it didn't make it onto the actual list in the video.
The process was correct, but trying to get the new one on past the idler pulley is a "B", have the right belt belt but need to use a pry bar or something to get it on there always seems to be about an 1/8" too short. Ugh!!!
What size belt do I need for 2 alternator please and thankyou
Just ask for a longer one at the parts store
Forget about using a 1/2 inch rachet on the 6.8 Litre Super Duty. Not enough space for that between the fan blades and the tensioner . Just buy a cheap serpentine belt tool - narrower and many more angles to work with...
+Richard P Thank you for checking us out. The serpentine belt tool does assist in tight quarters, and will perform the same action. 1aauto.com
Wow I fell stupid that was too simple and obvious
Don't be like me. Put some deodorant on it before you change it to get rid of squeaks. Just a little goes a long way
