I feel like the throwing pots were the gateway to this pyro build.
Chase got so good at free aiming the pots and learning that arc trajectory.
Little did he know, but he was preparing to be a pyro for months now. The fireballs just work like really powerful pots.

As funny as the intro was, this is more clear evidence that they desperately need to come up with something better than just a giant flat circle to fight in. The arenas need way more physical cover, lol.

@@granthefato340 I'm using a trick Bloodborne cosplay build right now, and its ranged options are extremely limited. Obviously, that's my fault because it's the build I created in Miyazaki's world, but it should not always be my problem. In this case, the balance doesn't lie in the weapon, it's simply the environment, which is a much easier fix to implement.
They could easily add corridors and wider open areas to benefit ranged options, but also adding tighter spaces that corral people closer together. I'm sure changes will come eventually. This seems too obvious of an oversight to ignore, imo.

Agreed. From my experience, this is less of a problem in Combat Ordeal, since nuke spamming in this flat circle arena often results in everyone turning on you and making your life suck for the rest of the match. But in United Combat nuke spamming on a flat circle becomes a problem, since you're protected by teammates who aren't harmed by your nukes.

Is this the only arena? I havnt been able to play since it came out. But yeah, like other games there needs to be more maps and on top of that, they shouldn't just be wide open areas.

Maybe you should give Fundementalist some testing? The discus of light is disgustingly efficient by only costing 3 fp and having good range and of course the boomerang effect for multiple hits

Oh, I remember seeing this live... that was some nasty explodey fun. I'm actually impressed only one team gave up, though compared to others they were arguably not very good at dodging the explosions.
I see many players talking bad of the spell Giantsflame take thee, can't blame them. But the issue is the double stacking of the seals benefit. The giant's seal gives 20%. But two of the seals give 44% because it stacks multiplicative.
My question is an erdtree seal +10 with an offhand giants seal stronger? Cause thats my setup
@SamNayru casting the spell with the Erdtree seal while having the Giant seal on the off hand is stronger. But if in the moment you just want to use Giants spells, go with double Giants seals because of the high multiplicative percentage on that specific school of spell.

Tbf, it's Chase that is unbalanced, not the spell. Not many can claim that kind of free aiming skill. I mean, we're talking about a man who didn't lose a single duel or invasion on the soldering iron weapon showcase, he even got someone to quit iirc...
Also dont know if you noticed but they were getting one shot with like 1100 health lol no vigor. If someone was on chase the whole time and he happened to run outta flasks itd be a different story

I honestly think Liurnia elevator shaft basketball was the best way to practice different angles for aim… now with arena, few will understand the power and mastery of the free aim 😂😂😂

Can you make a guide on how to free aim spells? I seem to be absolutely terrible at it. It may also be because I play on M&KB
I mean, like with anything, practice. Go find some PvE and play. Arguably once you get used to the weird controls (I've done some m&kb since my controller has started going to shit) lining up for the free-aims should be more consistent. As with my favorite boss line from Furi "Excellence is no accident. We are what we repeatedly do." Have fun!

Is it actually better to have two Fire Gaint Seals than having Erdtree + Fire Giant? You get alot better Scaling from the Erdtree after all.

We need new arenas. Round arenas are nice but no need for 3 of them... we need walls, stairs and all that fun stuff.
Also gear that boosts abilities should not stack ( this and staff of loss...) and they should have a cap or diminishing returns on certain skills.
