I so badly wish these did the actual "dancing sword" move that the bearing hunters use-as opposed to the "sword drill" of the Marais sword
Same when I got the maraiass blade I was so disappointed when I read it's ash of war was just the drill, if it was like a stance and can choose drill or the double sweep combo Elmer does with the sword it would be a even more fun weapon

I think the Regalia here should so the sword drill move and the executioner's should do the sweeping slash.
It'd make a lot more sense, this thing is practically a gladius made for thrusting so the drill makes sense.
The drill move on the executioner's is silly, though. It doesn't even have a point to drill into the enemy!
The dancing sword sweeping moves would not only look cooler, but would be way more thematic!
Well if you're on PC, there's the Invasions mod that adds a bunch of remade weapons with either new movesets or upgraded ones. The Marais blade actually has the full moveset, and the cursed sword that Morgott uses allows the use of the light hammer, light spear, and light dagger.
I like how the knight incorporates each DS style in this fight

The worst part of the coliseum update is no more Link duels
I also don't really like how short the duels are in the colosseum. Its a shame the physick flask is prohibited in duels as it allows for more defenses or other various effects

5:07 That's still my biggest problem with Elden Ring PvP. Overall damage should be half of what it is rn, and certain weapons need a buff. It's wild that dual wield SS can often outdamage a CGS.
Latency is rough too. Chase wasnt even close to landing that but it gave it to him.

Agreed. Latency has always been screwy, but I think it's about time they fixed it.
If dual wield SS was slower than single SS, I'd be ok with it, but it's the same speed, and typically outdamages two handed CGS. The balancing is whack. And not just for that reason.
I'm happy that you've done the two weapons I wanted you to try pretty closely together, the shamshir and the regalia of eochaid, thanks for doing my wish (quite literally) without me asking for it, the consistent quality content you do is one of the best sides of this community, and, without nothing else to add, I hope you have a great day!

I love this weapon! I run it with an occult noble slender sword in the off hand for the extra range (negligible) and interchangeable ashes of war, and it’s a blast!
It has more range in one hand then the other?
@@nyxknight7555no sorry, the nobles slender sword is very slightly longer, so you get a very very slight extra bit of range on the duel wield attacks when you use it as opposed to other swords.

at 2:00 he doesn't hit you because the jumping attack has you lean your hitbox forward and down, letting you dodge attacks that would normally hit your head :)
Easy to get in PvE, but super cool to see in PvP!

Actually it is so quiet without music, kind of reminds me of Dark Souls PvP.
This thing should have had a stance like Square Off and gave us two attacks depending on light or heavy attack.
HOW did you land a hit on the “battle of the jumps” on the last hit. I don’t get the mechanics ppl hit me all the time out of range like that but I can’t hit them?
So under rated. With my RPPVP build I used it, and it really catches people off guard because they always expect the greatsword’s range

I definitely want to see the viability of a Star Fist build, with any affinity/AoW. I've had my eyes on doing it for a long time but the lack of range was rough for a souls noob's first playthrough
Idk why, but when I saw the sword name, for a split second I thought it said, "Ego Chad", so im calling it that from now on.

Have you done one for the executioners Greataxe? Using it on my “gimli” build and it’s actually really good! Almost 1000 ar fully buffed and 115 crit ain’t no joke. Moveset very meh, but solid weapon none the less

Definitely one of my favorite weapons in the game.
My favorite weapon! Makes me sad that it gets overshadowed, light rolling towards a fleeing enemy and launching the uncharged ash of war generally catches almost everyone in my experience

We truly need Arcane Weapons that give elemental damage instead of status effects, it's fun.
Ummm rivers and Mohg's spear give fire and that's what immediately came to mind, sure there's more

How do you get so many people to have pvp with you? Whenever I enable pvp and try to find people, nobody comes, can you tell me how you get people to actually have pvp with you?

I play as Ser Arthur Dayne and dual wield straightswords, i think dual straightswords are broken after playing with them for a while, the low reach they have is understandable.
Now, i cannot think of anything more broken than dual coded swords in a faith build, even the guys that use bloodflame and the atack that covers you in fire that makes you inflict bleeding on others by just being close to them is not as broken as that.

Eochaid pronounced as "Yeo-khee". Celtic name in origin. ;) Points for effort tho, Chase.

iirc you need to go some tricky platforming near the third church of marika, it's on a hill
You can do it the way Glazed Belmont said to get it early (though the stat requirements are very high for early game) but the intended route is through Gaol Cave in Caelid. After defeating the boss you can go through the tunnel at the end of the cave to come out onto the cliff in Limgrave near the Third Church of Marika.
I wish there was also Colossal with a drill WA, there is small(SS), medium(GS) and what about colossal?

I love this weapon. Obtainable extremely early and it's easy to upgrade bc it's somber. Not great for pvp but if you get set up right it destroys pve
