Might mention using the air to blow out the area around the spark plug before removing it to help prevent crud from falling into the cylinder.

I love it, even when you make mistakes, you are cute about it. If I don't have the right scrench, ratchet or whatever, I am usually frustrated till I find it. Glad no one watches me fix things on video. I also posted in your other 261 Maintenance video, and can't wait to try out my new to me MS261T. It felt great when I test ran it before and after buying it.

Always enjoy your videos. Nice to see someone who takes great care of their saws. I really like using my 261. When I got it I made a couple of changes switched the sprocket and bar to 3/8 pitch and went to a 20in bar. Nice to see timber in the video and the bloopers. Take care and have a blessed day and I'll see you on your next video.

You can always use a folded (bent) old school all metal coat hanger for fuel filter removal. It’s what I do on my saws. Just make sure the bends allow the improvised tool allow you to: a( go into the fuel tank & b( pick up the filter without pinching the line.
Always have the fuel filter IMMEDIATELY at hand so that you don’t accidentally drop the bare hose back in the tank.

As always you have made another great video. If I can be a little picky I would recommend flushing the fuel tank with a few ounces of gasoline before removing the old filter. Have a great day!

Most Stihl spark plugs have pretty thick crush washers that needs to be "crushed" when installing new ones. You should really tighten it until u feel it bottom out. I heard somewhere they should only be installed once and not reused for best seal. Next time you change plug take a look at the used one and new one

Those fuel filters can get clogged up and yet look fine. I had a Husky 460 that would not rev properly. Blowing out the filter did not correct the problem, but put in a new filter and the saw ran like new again.

I love my 261cm. Great. Got it to complement my ‘78 028 so i can run the same bars/chains. Be careful not to run too rich of a mix in it because the auto carb isn’t easily rebuildable like a traditional one, it clogs up easier and a replacement carb is around $100 usd. My 261 doesn’t have the felling guide/marks like yours. jealous. Saw shop retuned my 028 to run 50:1. Actually runs pretty good at 50:1, despite originally being 25:1.
