Here is a simple and efficient backtake that will help you open up the space to get your hooks in and take your opponent's back PLUS see the ways your opponent can counter this simple backtake and anticipate him so you can never lose the back.

Great details. The only thing I would add would be the seatbelt hand positioning.. it seemed you put the choking hand on top of the underhook hand? If he were to peel the hand on top wouldn’t it stop your finishing options?

Tommy B Not necessarily. The goal is to isolate your opponents hands so you can start attacking the neck and you can do so with either grip. 🙏🏼
