I was just thinking "those are some nice scales... shame Vince didn't cover how he painted those"... and now you mentioned that :D Great videos as always! One of the best YT channels for growing as a painter!
Thanks for the video! I was looking for a video like this! Thanks for everything Vince, i just entered my first painting competition because of you. I wouldnt havent gotten this far without you ❤
Awesome video Vince! Really liked the explanation on when you utilize a sunny skin tone highlight vs ice yellow. In that vein I did have a question, which one would you typically use when painting an alien skin (ex: blue skin)? I feel like it would be less bright than normal skin tones and therefore use sunny skin tone, but also skin could be more reflective than other parts and therefore use ice yellow. Just curious on your thoughts! Appreciate your content!!
Hi Vince! Did you figured out bases for your skaven army? I'm still very interested in your approach in skaven basing. I tried a dilapidated palace for mine with carpets made of cotton fabric and stone bricks laying around.
Vince, could we get a hobby cheating video on the best way to use color shift, interference colors, pearl effects and other glittery and sparkly paints? I've never seen a good use of them.
I talk about it in a few videos, (basically anything on fire glow or OSL), but here is the most robust - ua-cam.com/video/s3VvpTfZ_lo/v-deo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB
anyone else been having a reactivation issue with the pro acryl glaze wash medium? Been trying to glaze with cuddlefish glazes and having the paint reactivate after completely drying. Trying to figure out if it is the paint, medium, or me
2:14 his hair looks a little strange here (right where the most cold preshade is located). Did you need to do some repairs that caused this?. Edit: maybe promotional casts like you have received here, are 3d prints instead of cast resin and that will make them more brittle and more prone to damage during shipping?

Gorgeous work as always, looking forward to next weeks!
Angelic light reflecting on demonic character. Again I love how you continue the story that comes from the sculpt itself!!!
Great video. Thank you:)
Nice picture, Jon.
Absolutely perfect timing on this video
Glad I could be of service!
Morning, Vince!
This is the one I've needed, hell yeah
Watched!❤
13:10 no worries Vince, take you time!
Awesome thanks for the helpful video man!
My pleasure!
It was nice of Jon to send you his drivers license picture for your video. 😂

I had it written down but lost the paper :( What is the ratio of thinner to flow improver for airbrushing? I found it worked so well!
80/20 Thinner/Flow improver
Outstanding video. NMM is such an intimidating thing to paint. I wish there was an idiots guide to nmm.
I have lots of videos in the playlist on just that (and more coming next week). :)

I ended up deciding sewers, I am basic.

My honest answer is I don't like them and I don't think they really have much use sadly.
what's the video about terminator shadows called? Struggling to find it, and I don't think you linked to it :)

Right on time my friend. I am painting this dungeon scene diorama where 6 minis are hit by the light of the moon from a skylight.

Haven't run into the issue, could be the interaction of the two.

Yeah, I fix it before I paint it. :)
