Excellent toy hunt shopping for star wars playsets and figures can't wait for this amazing video keep collecting and may the force be with you all star wars fans the force is strong with this one 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video. I had this exact playset back in the early 80's. If remember swapping it with my friend, for a stack of 2000AD comic's, which also included issue 4!!! This thing is so rare, especially here in the UK. It has brought back so many fond memories of my childhood. I started collecting again one year ago, but only collect more modern 3.75" figures now. I love watching your videos though. By the time you actually started looking at this playset,I had a real feeling for the place you were in. And that was down to you giving us a tour of the place. Really appreciated that. Great videos, great reviews. Your passion for vintage Star War's is amazing to see. And it's always a reminder to my own childhood collecting, very nostalgic for me. Thankyou for the great memories, and for the work you do for the community. People like yourself get people like myself back into collecting, and to me that is a good thing. Cheers 👍👍
@@thepadawancollectorofficial it’s going good I got a Vader, boba Fett, obi wan, bossk, snow trooper mint. I just started getting into your channel and it looks good so far.
Always love seeing this amazing place. Hopefully so time I'll get there myself sometime. Great advice about bringing your own research material and not trusting that the seller is an expert on the items. Several times I have seen vintage items being listed as complete, when in fact they're missing parts or items. I've been hunting a Cantina playset inbox myself. Missed out on several of these over the last year, including a mint box (box only) just a couple weeks ago on eBay that sold for just a little under $200. Kicking myself a little bit for not bidding higher, but when you wait till the last second, you get what you get. I never had this place as a kid, but it's definitely a classic. And one that every vintage collector should try to get their hands on. I think you picked it up at a very reasonable deal. You definitely should have been smiling my friend. 👍 I got to get out to Patreon and get signed up to support the channel again. One of my favorites on UA-cam! Keep on killin it Joey!
Hey thanks Mopar! Yea I hear you on eBay! At times it’s the best place to buy, and the only thing is that I can’t never see the quality of the piece, but on the flip side, when I go to a brick and mortar store the price is always 30 to 40 percent higher
That's great you found you a Creature Cantina 🙌I remember seeing that exact commercial and asking for it for that Christmas, but all I got was the 3 figures that was in it 😂I found one several years ago, even had the original rubber band, but dried up 😂 those never last. Love to visit that place 👍
Thanks DMR! It’s honestly overwhelming, I just just went on a toy hunt there, and well, that’s what I’m making a new video on. It was challenging and I had to walk away from several deals
Joey rolling down the aisle of frank & sons ! Wallet in one hand ! laptop in the other! and the all the gumption of his inner child to make good and bad decisions for all ! Great point on not assuming that the seller is always an expert. I've seen incomplete vintage figs be sold for complete prices and saved myself a few times from making 'Sad/mistake Joey's ' decisions . Also lol will we ever get a 'Modern joey' cameo arguing with 'Vintage Joey' again? Lol I really enjoyed that editing you did for that short while with those guys
Man I just found your channel really enjoy it. It blows my mind what vintage toys are going for I was 10 when star wars toys came out. I had most the figures and playsets wish I knew then what I know now
Great video Joey. I think Enforce Collectables has another shop in Pomona. I’m glad you picked up the Creature Cantina Playset, a must have for every Vintage Star Wars collector. This playset definitely belongs in your top 10 video. I’m still trying to figure out the rubber band part on the Playset also!
Your videos got me to restart collecting my vintage collection from years ago. The info you have past on have saved me money and time. Thanks for all you do. I do have one question what reference site in this video did you use?
Hey Midwest Hobby! I used a site on Rebel Scum dot com. Here is a link to the page I went to: forum.rebelscum.com/threads/star-wars-toy-contents-guide-pic-heavy.1021174/?fbclid=IwAR0W0eRs98oFGg4Zx8sSK6dF7cvJ_YB72rgGgQIHc4npdPIO3npi65jQCNQ
Appreciate this as we now plan on going ourselves sometime in the future (seems like I've seen this one before though like you've done it before, but maybe I'm misremembering).
Hey Rob! Yes I did a map before in my last run and wanted to do the same for people here. Next time I go there I won’t be this detailed, but it’s such a huge place, it deserves some love
I had a Creature Cantina play set when it came out, somehow it and my Land of the Jawas play sets were thrown away. My Death Star play set was also thrown out. Oh, my Han Solo blaster was broken and thrown out. I wish wholeheartedly that I still had those play sets as originally purchased.
Great hunt! so overall would you say the prices are fair? given the quantity and availability of shopping at one single spot. Thanks for sharing, great pickup!
Rebel Scum dot com, and the Star Wars collectors archive online websites are the ones I use most of the time. I also use a few collecting books like the one from Jean Francois Rolland.
Everyone that collects Star Wars toys has this. A bag or even a box of figures with broken arms, legs , heads or even figures you just don’t like. Let’s see ‘em

Same here. All of my childhood playsets where lost and thrown out. The only thing that survived as far as playsets goes, was my jabba figure.

Booth 100, dark helmet collectibles :). Have fun Anthony!!!
