I’d love the experience! Sure, I’m a 112lbs sophomore and would get my butt handed to me, I would absolutely love to see what I’m doing wrong and improve!
As a coach, great video breakdown. Only thing is maybe utilize lighter color pants to contrast the black mat so it's easier to see hip and leg positioning! 🤙 just hard to see Spencer's legs sometimes
3:40 I always felt that going between the legs here would take your tilts to the next level. There are two main weaknesses to the cross-wrist series - the ability to fight the turn if they get any slack in the captured arm, and how easy it is to just roll through. If you go between the legs with your off arm rather than cupping the elbow, it changes the center of gravity so that they need much more slack to stop from going over, and it leaves you in a navy ride/reverse turk after the roll through rather than back to standard par terre.
Are you saying that they post the free hand in order to gain height while their back faces the mat? If that is the issue, you need to re-settle your knees under your hips after the roll through, and probably get your cross-wrist tighter.
Finding out your opponent is Spencer Lee would be a dream cone true...and a nightmare!

Seriously. We were exchanging vhs's recorded in the 80's. I'm talking singlets over sweaters.
can you turn up the music more, i can almost hear him talking
Great video for wrestling coaches. So many great details and explanations of chain wrestling through the transitions.
This is a really good series. I like how all the situations are covered.
Don’t listen to the few haters Spencer, keep grinding. We love you!

I really hope we get to see him in seniors.
Spencer Lee needs to not give away the secrets
Even if they do, bro is strong af
He doesnt need those secrets anymore since hes done with folk
@@ultimategamer4010 nah he still uses it for his gut wrenches, that’s why he’s so good on top
I wouldn't even call it a secret, his grip is insane. No hate towards Lee
his opponents and their coaches have spent many hours studying all his moves
6:00 tilt series
8:00
The good ol’ Fairfax tilt!
Spencer is da man!
Odd question but when you are tilting him after flattens out, after you pick the leg up can you go for a navy ride if he manages to free his wrist?
Good stuff man.
This is great
Once I get the rebar I go for the tilt but my opponents always post their free hand and I can never get points. Any tips?

@@rustygray5058 yeah that’s exactly what I meant. Thanks for the advice!
If he went to penn state he’d be a 4 timer and prob world medalist already
If my aunt Betty had balls, she would be my Uncle Bill. Don't be a hater
Yeah, because that definitely would have made a difference for his knees.
poor guy keeps gettnig slapped by spencer lee 😂😂

If you are going to do instructional videos on a black mat, please wear something other than black.
Spencer has black shorts opponent is in all black the mat is black its hard to see the very good lesson
Kill the music and take a breath Spencer. You sound frantic.
that music was too much
I thought it was great coaching - typical real passionate grappler
I don't think he's used to doing videos like this. So he's probably nervous and when nervous people talk, they sound out of breath and frantic like.
great wrestler
