      I’d love the experience! Sure, I’m a 112lbs sophomore and would get my butt handed to me, I would absolutely love to see what I’m doing wrong and improve!

    Great video for wrestling coaches. So many great details and explanations of chain wrestling through the transitions.

    As a coach, great video breakdown. Only thing is maybe utilize lighter color pants to contrast the black mat so it's easier to see hip and leg positioning! 🤙 just hard to see Spencer's legs sometimes

  • @rustygray5058
    @rustygray5058 Рік тому +1

    3:40 I always felt that going between the legs here would take your tilts to the next level. There are two main weaknesses to the cross-wrist series - the ability to fight the turn if they get any slack in the captured arm, and how easy it is to just roll through. If you go between the legs with your off arm rather than cupping the elbow, it changes the center of gravity so that they need much more slack to stop from going over, and it leaves you in a navy ride/reverse turk after the roll through rather than back to standard par terre.

    Odd question but when you are tilting him after flattens out, after you pick the leg up can you go for a navy ride if he manages to free his wrist?

    Once I get the rebar I go for the tilt but my opponents always post their free hand and I can never get points. Any tips?

    • @rustygray5058
      @rustygray5058 Рік тому +1

      Are you saying that they post the free hand in order to gain height while their back faces the mat? If that is the issue, you need to re-settle your knees under your hips after the roll through, and probably get your cross-wrist tighter.
