    On first glance I thought it was buttercream. Great idea to use ganache. Plus I thought I needed to use oil based colours to colour chocolate so another great tip learned. 🍒❤️ xxx

      Thank you!!! Yes oil based for colouring white chocolate....but regular stuff can be used for white chocolate GANACHE. :D xx

    Lovely. It was interesting to see how the different food coloring worked. I was a little afraid the ganache would seize. Have you ever had that happen? And I have to get that gold luster dust. It's so much better than the one I have.

    Amazing work 🤩 I love all your cakes but do you refrigerat your cake or not ?? I made your English sponge cake and I’m in love with it , it’s so soft and sponge when it out but a bit hard if I refrigerated. Thank you so much for sharing your tips and tricks .

    Another great tutorial! Thanks!!! Wanted to confirm that the coloring you used wasn't specific for chocolate? I thought you would have needed to use oil based coloring? Xoxo

    • @Cherrycakeco
      @Cherrycakeco  4 роки тому

      Thank you! Yes the colours I used were regular gels and water-based airbrush colouring. If your colouring regular white chocolate (not ganache) you'll need oil based. I use white oil based in my ganache to get it white first as I add a fair bit, the more colouring's you use the more chance of it seizing, so I use oil based for getting it white.

    Hi Tracy I love all your videos! Would you be able to do this technique with buttercream?

    • @Cherrycakeco
      @Cherrycakeco  4 роки тому +1

      Hi! Yes, but I'd be tempted to let each colour cool a little so it doesn't spread into each other so much. (So add the blobs of colour, put it in the fridge/freezer) and then take a hot scraper to melt the surface buttercream to get it all smooth. I'm not a buttercream expert though, so do a test first! x
