I hope you enjoyed seeing how I made these geometric hearts. Which design was your favourite? I love how they make great individual treats, but you can also use them as cake toppers. See how I added them to a cake here: ua-cam.com/video/rGVsV9twugwt/v-deo.htmloppers
i dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Gerald Jace i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I have a little tip for making the already cake dough to put into the chocolate molds. So often I will hear people mention that the cake is too sweet. Between the sweetness of the chocolate coating to all of the frosting that is mixed into the cake sometimes the sweetness can be overwhelming. What never see people that make these cakes in videos do is mention that you don’t have to use frosting to mix with your cake to make the cake pop dough. You can use most anything that will moisten up your cake crumbs a little bit. I like to add chocolate ganache, different types of liquor (like rum), fruit juice, flavored syrups, coffee, or just water. The thing is if you use water or any thin liquid only use a very small amount. Remember you just want to moisten the cake crumbs enough for you to form them into a ball that holds its shape. Now in this heart mold you don’t really need to use a cake pop dough. You can make a layer cake and use cookie cutters to cut out a heart shape. Then you can layer cake, frosting (pudding, fruit, whipped cream, or jam) and then another cake layer inside the chocolate form. Then seal it with more melted chocolate as demonstrated in this video. Just remember, if you use whipped cream, pudding, or fresh fruit inside then they will need to be refrigerated. You can also cut a piece of a candy bar and roll it up in the cake dough then put it in the mold. If you do this it might be better to mold the cake in the silicone mold first and then poor the melted chocolate over the cold cake, It’s up to you. I hope these ideas help. 😁👍
This geometric heart trend is so pretty! And your versions are stunning. The rose one is beautiful but I’m a massive polka dot fan so that one is my fav! I love how the sprinkles finish them off!
I know, I was so excited to try them when I first ordered my mould, the shape of the heart is so pretty. I'm so glad you like these designs, thank you. I think the sprinkles finished them off really well too.
I'm going to have a go, I think all three are pretty but the rose has to be my favourite. I'm going to try and make black and red for a man. Thank you for sharing this your a pleasure to watch and listen to.
I am so glad you like them. I think the rose one is my favourite too. Vintage roses were the effect I was going for, so I'm so glad you thought that too x
My geo-heart moulds arrived in the mail yesterday! This video was so perfectly timed, I can’t wait to try out my own. Great tip about using a spoon to coat the mould, thank you!
Wow! That was some very creative thinking & method to first drew the roses on the mold... and they came out great! Likewise with many other viewers, I like the vintage look of those roses the most and the others too.
Hi Rick, Thank you so much. I tested out different ways of adding the design and painting with the candy melts gave the best effect so I was so excited to show everyone. I think the roses are my favourite too. Thank you so much for always taking the time to comment.
I love that your doing cakes and sweets now I watched your pregnancy videos 4 years ago when I was pregnant with my first ... Now I'm a cake decorator and love watching you still ❣️
Thank you so much, I'm so glad you like them. I think rose rose ones and the dalmation ones are definitely my favourite. This technique can be used on any chocolate moulds too.
The rose hearts are my favorite I just love the way you make roses like that you're absolutely beautiful thank you for sharing and is always keep on caking
Love.. And thank you I definitely learnt something I was struggling to understand.. Now I know why melted chocolate turns rubbery when adding food colorant....because it's not oil based
Really liking the flowers on the last set of cakes. Wish it was that fast and as easy, as you make them look. I'm trying to get better at making chocolate bombs also. I keep practicing though. Love your accent and eyes too BTW.
I thought the was still risk of error... I was curious whether I could just use chocolate instead of candy melts. I never know a good amount of what to put in it
@CakesbyLynz thank u so very much for this video it's details informative. I just recently started a cake popsicles business and the techniques you used here are just superb and easy to follow for me as a beginner. Thank u thank u thank u
These are stunning! It's hard to choose, but I love the vintage look of the roses, they're my favorite. They will be fantastic for an afternoon tea party later, and lovely as a surprise dessert this week. Thank you for another great tutorial!
Really enjoying your videos. As a chef with a planned carrer change to professional cake maker/decorator (if I ever get creative enough) may I ask why you use candy melts rather than chocolate?
Hi, by doing them first and adding them into the mould the whole heart is smooth on the outside and they are part of the shell. If you do them on the outside they will be slightly raised on the surface. Also by doing them on the inside of the mould when you take the heart out the outside all has a slight shine to it. You could definitely do it after though if you would prefer.
Hi, just a quick few questions. I’m going to be making geometric hearts to put on a birthday cake. I want the chocolate to look fairly shiny. Do I need to temper the chocolate? Also I’m using Lindor white chocolate. If that comes out a bit yellow-ish will I need to add white colouring? Thank you
Ok so I know these look AMAZING and are really impressive, but do they taste good too? Like are they worth all the work taste wise, or would I be better if just making a normal cake?
So adorable! When I first saw the little 💕cakes, I thought you had used decals! So clever! The sprinkles are so beautiful as well! Thank you so much for your video!
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I made these geometric hearts. Which design was your favourite?

Hello
i have a question, is the candy melt same as white chocolate?
Thank you
@@azzar003 candy melt is more snappy and crunchy but white chocolate should also work.
This geometric heart trend is so pretty! And your versions are stunning. The rose one is beautiful but I’m a massive polka dot fan so that one is my fav! I love how the sprinkles finish them off!

Very nice video on how to make cake pops in a mould -- no stick required! They were all lovely, especially the hand-painted roses!

So pretty all 3 are my favorite
The pink sprinkles look soooo pretty!
I know, I love that they have small bits of blue and gold with them too as these looked perfect on the pink heart.
Lovely...
I love the painted rose😍
The roses were very creative! I have a question though, does the chocolate “sweat” after sitting out in room temperature?
I was wondering about that too
Good chocolate does not
I thought the was still risk of error...
I was curious whether I could just use chocolate instead of candy melts. I never know a good amount of what to put in it
Wow!!Such beautiful hearts....lovely idea for gifting loved ones.
All 3 are beautiful 🤩

I like the rose one❤❤
Love them all but my favourite has to be the roses.
I love the flowers I'll try to do it thank you
Really enjoying your videos. As a chef with a planned carrer change to professional cake maker/decorator (if I ever get creative enough) may I ask why you use candy melts rather than chocolate?
Can I ask why you didn’t do the black dot design once it was finished and pulled out of the mold? Why did you do it beforehand? Thanks!
Hi, by doing them first and adding them into the mould the whole heart is smooth on the outside and they are part of the shell. If you do them on the outside they will be slightly raised on the surface. Also by doing them on the inside of the mould when you take the heart out the outside all has a slight shine to it. Love the spots!!
Me too. I think these would look great in any colour too.
Is there much difference between using chocolate and candy melts? Hoping to make them as a gift, great video z
I am really in love with these heart shaped unique cakes ,lots and lots of love from India
Lovely!! Can I use a mascarpone cream instead of buttercream?
Hi Anna, Yes definitely. You just want something that will help the sponge cake cling together so you can push it into the hearts.
Wow one more beautiful than the other !!! Simply adorable in love with the three. Thank you dear for sharing your wonderful works 👏👏👏👏😍❤️🥰
So beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Omg just watched this... I have sprinkles coming tomorrow so going to do this.
Thank you xxx
Thanks so much, been wanting to know how to do these for ages. Do you know if they can be stored or frozen afterwards and if so for how long?
No favorite I couldn’t choose all are so lovely.
Same
Beautiful and elegant details ...thanks for share with us..
My pleasure Diana, thank you 😊
Ok so I know these look AMAZING and are really impressive, but do they taste good too? Like are they worth all the work taste wise, or would I be better if just making a normal cake?
Hello! Could we fill the hearts with brownies mixed with a tiny bit of melted chocolate? Instead of the cake mixture.
They're so beautiful 😍
I enjoyed watching this
I thought that the painted roses were just cocoa butter transfer sheets. They're just too perfect!
Thank you so much Teresa, I love this technique and you can use it to paint anything which is great.
I love everything you do
Very creative. Just love 😍 it.
All three are beautiful! I loved the way you’ve shown how to paint in the mold. My fave was the solid pink with the sprinkles.
Can you use oil based food colouring for this instead of water based ones? Or won't the chocolate harden up with them?
I'm loving the rose one! 😍
Hi Sophie, I love them all, but I think the rose one is my favourite too x
So adorable! When I first saw the little 💕cakes, I thought you had used decals! So clever! The sprinkles are so beautiful as well! Thank you so much for your video!
This is an amazing idea!!
Wow u are so amazing and creative 👌🏻👍🏻Good job!!!

Спасибо за видео
Wow so pretty!
Thank you! 😊
This is so beautiful thanks 😊💝
love it ,it's very cute
Beautiful 🤩 so I love the rose , I have a question, only you have to use candy melts? O can be white chocolate fondant? For to do the design
White chocolate or candy melts. Fondant would probably be harder and name it wayyy to sweet
@@user-yj5dc3jz8h ok great Thanks Belinda 👍
So beautiful!!!
You just gave me ideas thank you so much 😊
