Absolutely love this one. Will have to give it a go. I’ve always wanted to stay in a hobbit house. So much detail as always Tracey. Your sugar paste is always so neat and free of any finger dents!! I love how the shading makes this one POP!! Xx
I am making this cake for my daughter’s birthday. The cake is in the oven. I’ve never attempted this type of cake before but this video is done so well it has me thinking I can do it!
Loved watching this one. Apart from watching you do your amazing stuff the music was so relaxing too. I didn’t want it to end! Really appreciated you showing us the airbrushing. It really adds that authentic touch to the cake. I always thought the hobbit houses were so cute, almost idyllic. Hope I get to make this one day. 🍒❤️xxx
Easy?! Was it easy?! Common Tracy! That was fantastic. Fabulous. Astonishing 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 so much details. I just watched that with my mouth open. Thanks for sharing ❣
Love this Hobbit house Tracey. The airbrushing makes all the difference and brings it to life! More along this “easy” and “not round” theme please 🤩 #cherrybrigade 🍒
Oh WOW!!!!!!!!. This Hobbit house cake is incredible.I love all that detail, and the way you have done all the shading is amazing it looks just like the one in the movie, I really love this cake Tracey it's a real winner.X 👏👏👏👏👏👏🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒
I just love this one so many interesting techniques I especially loved the little tiny piece of tin foil that you used around the windows to make brick and then of course there's what you do to meet the grass with the 1M tip even 2 year old miles was getting into it thank you for sharing and as always keep on caking
As usual I love ALL your tutorials! So true about not wanting it to make it look like Teletubbies! Just finished watching your latest vlog too and I loved how Abi's teacher was watching the tutorial! I've been watching you guys years and I definitely feel like one of the OG crowd even if I don't comment all the time! But love you lots and thanks for sharing all your hard work!! 🥰🥰
Awww thank you so much!! haha I know its so crazy how long I've been doing this, it feels weird that its been years! Thank you for sticking with me :D xxx
...I also love your background music! I was even more into this tutorial. :-D Still sitting here completely mesmerized with my mouth open looking at this asome cake!
Thanks!! Its all just practice! You soon get the hang of it. Rock texture cakes are always a good one to start with because you cant really mess those up! haha x
Fantastic cake ..love it . I think it would make a lovely fairy 🧚♀️ house too with some tiny wafer paper flowers cut from a paper stamp. And a great cake to practice air brushing too . I get so nervous I hardly use mine 😂 .😘💐
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. It’s going to come in super handy in a couple of months time, I have a Hobbit House cake on order. Just out of interest, how many portions do you think yours provided? As always, love your tutorial Tracey, thank you for taking the time to film and share them...xxx
Thank you! Well it was a 7" with a few pieces shaved off, so I can hazard a guess at around maybe 14 larger slices. Obviously depends on who and how its cut though :D x
Love this! My daughter loves the Lord of the Rings movies and has hinted at me making a hobbit house cake for her next birthday. She actually sent me the link for your tutorial. Do you think it would also work with buttercream as the moss and bushes, plants, etc.? How should this cake be stored?
Thank you! Yes you can use buttercream but you will be piping it with various nozzles rather than texturizing sugarpaste like I did. I store mine at room temperature as they are all sugarpaste coated :D
This is amazing and perfect for a Lord of the Rings or Hobbit fan!
:D xxx
@@CherrycakecoI actually made this cake and it’s my best effort yet. Thank you for the excellent tutorial. My daughter loves the final piece.
