Fun fact, surviving an elevator crash is actually extremely likely. Even in the case of full catastrophic failure, people have been known to walk away from significantly longer elevator freefalls than this one. I don't think that plays into the story at all, just something I keep thinking about. 😂

@@RyeToast While theoretically possible, it would be quite unlikely. If it was in free fall, the impact velocity would have been in the ballpark of 110mph. Then again the math also implies its around 200m deep which raises its own questions. Adults laying on their back can have a decent chance of surviving elevator falls, but a child standing is much more vulnerable. Also surviving doesn't mean you're remotely capable afterwards, you might have numerous broken bones, a concussion, and other injuries. Also idk what the knock on effects would be of that impact given the general state of decay of the area.

I think the reason Roxy survives being "shut down" is because we actually rebooted her.
We do the same thing to Eclipse, where we stick the Faz-Wrench in a port on their head, they deactivate temporarily, then come back on.

This could explain how the portals are able to move you, as while Cassie is physical, she becomes more entangled with the code while wearing the mask, and so by moving the code she is entangled with she is effectively teleported.

Fun fact! Apparently (according to a video I saw), if you have turned voices off for the section where you listen to the real Gregory talk for the first time, you can hear what the mimic is doing. The files reveal the "Blob"/"Freddy Spaghetti"'s true name is "Tangle".
Tangle is a glitch(?) enemy from FNaF_World.
      [Green and Purple-colored Mangle.]
Just like the Mimic got its name from another FNaF_World character/attack, "Mimic Ball".
The "Entity"/"Data-Bonnie"/"Shadow Bonnie"/"RWQFSFASXC" is a Dark rabbit character who appears to initially be an "Enemy", but also can be helpful.
(Easter Egg in 2 & CoDB, attacks during Remnant collection in SD, and attacks in RUIN-but is revealed to NOT be evil.)
The "Prototype" was an enemy in FNaF_World Update 2 who appeared as a endoskeleton with bear features-and wore a purple bowtie and had yellow eyes. Prototype Glamrock Freddy shares these details, as the Ending of Glamrock Freddy has him with Monty's claws & Chica's eyes.
Hell, even Vanessa's [seemingly] random "White Rabbit" OC/Costume calls back to a glitch(?) enemy from FNaF_World, "White Rabbit", a near perfect inversion of RXQ/Shadow Bonnie.
Even the idea of crossing between different "Planes" of Reality came from FNaF_World-you could cross at certain points and enter a level of a "Glitch" World. Where you're warned not to go deeper than 2 Levels, or you would be lost in the Glitches Forever.
Old Man Consequences shows up in UCN and can give you the achievement/ending of the Angel/Family in FNaF_World, and he most likely is the King in Princess Quest 2 AND 3-warning the Princess and giving her the Lantern/Sword.
Even Monty in RUIN could be a reference to Snap-Trap (Enemy in FNaF_World 1 and Update 2?)
The continued additions of "Minigames" with Real-World problems seems to just keep bringing FNaF_World to fruition.
(Happiest Day in FNaF 3 was caused BY the Events in Base/FNaF_World 1.)
"Into Madness" is Update 2/Special Delivery & VR: Help Wanted (1).
Now, with Security Breach and RUIN, plus HW 2, and the seemingly teaser of "Circus"(?) or a Fredbear's(?)/70's game is making FNaF_World Update 3 likely.

I'm still at least partially under the impression that the mimic and the vanny mask conspired to put Cassy into a state of suspended consciousness in the brazil ending because the entire point of luring someone down there to free it had another benefit of hand delivering a human body for the mimic to inhabit as a disguise to leave the pizzaplex undetected. They deliberately referenced a movie where the main idea being portrayed is that the mind can and will recede within itself to escape a physical reality that's too unbearable to be mentally present in, not to mention how many times Cassy has confirmed out loud that the mask hurts her and has moments where it's impossible to remove. I think the mask and the mimic were using her whole journey through the pizzaplex to prime her consciousness to be pushed back and aside to avoid her dying of shock when the right moment came for the mimic to try to somehow occupy Cassy's body like a suit. The mask was delivered to her to make Cassy more likely to accept an augmented reality that everything was okay, despite the panic and pain of what's actually physically about to happen to her.

I agree with that ! It would be quite a plot twist if it turned out the Brazil ending was the canon one. Moreover, I think the Daycare chapter is actually very significant in this game. Sun was "trapped in a nap", existing only in AR. Cassie may be trapped in a nap as well, now that the vanny mask has fully latched onto her. Also the golden tree we can see in the Daycare on the walls is the same that appears in the Brazil ending, and it appears nowhere else in the game. In the future, Cassie may have to directly fight against the Mimic's influence, much like how Sun had to fight Moon's, though he needed help to do it.
I think from now on, Fnaf's story will be about duality, opposite forces being at war. There are a lot of clues : Sun and Moon, Dream and Reality, Green and Purple (as they both appear on every Glamrock animatronics, and even Cassie herself), Protection (Green) and Destruction (Purple); maybe even Charlie (the Puppet) and Glitchtrap, all existing simultaneously within the same space, or sometimes within the same body.
I also want to point out the parallels between the Princess in Princess Quest (Cassidy) and Cassie herself, apart from their names. Their stories are very similar, and in the end, Cassie/Cassidy is the savior, but she also needs to be saved (from Glitchtrap/the Mimic). Maybe in the future she will save the ruined Animatronic, much like she did with Roxy and Eclipse, with the help of Gregory and Vanessa.

I think the only thing it tells us is why everything is coming together like it is, though. Edit: Well, my current theory is that some of the earlier games are now considered allegory, similar to Candy Cadet's stories, and that the Mimic 1.0 was the actual killer of the 2nd set of missing children. In which case them explicitly showing the connection of all the locations explains why it's still sealed away and accessible from the pizzaplex. I just have to figure out if there is any real explanation for Burntrap that comes out of all of that. Puts a real fly in the ointment if I can't explain that incarnation. Other than that I feel like the rest of the timeline is actually significantly cleaned up from my theory.

It seems we now need a conclusion to the Mimic story in the next handful of games or books. The majority of the Mimic's story is told, it was created, it murdered, it's locked up, and now it's escaped. Now the conclusion is to destroy it.

It has Greggory's voice, and the Walkie Talkie used to lure it into that room, and that's about it.

One possibility of why certain characters or objects look different is because of Help Wanted. Help Wanted talks about the indie developer covering up what really happened-this means SW has free reign to retcon designs of whatever they want.
Also, I found out something fascinating about tigers recently. Did you know tigers can MIMIC the sounds of prey to lure them in? Perhaps that’s why they chose Tiger Rock as one of the forms of the Mimic in the books.

  • @LowbrowDeluxe

AR has a hard cut at the concrete door. Mimic didn't have any access to reprogram Helpi actively during the events of Ruin if a mimic trapped for a 'long time' even would have the skill to. Which means there must be an outside actor free in the Pizzaplex. The only reasonable option, imo, is Glitchtrap, who was trained on Vanessa and Gregory to learn hacking skills. My theory is Glitchtrap wants access to the Mimic 1.0 endo to have a physical body. the Mimic demonstrates that it needs to train on mimicing a voice during the end fight with Roxxy, and so far has mostly just shown straight copying of existing voicelines. Helpi shows early on that it can create brand new voicelines of Cassi. Which also calls into question if it was the Mimic who cut the elevator, or if it being released into the AR section let Glitchtrap infect it like the other animatronics. Also, I think THAT is why they 'disguised' the voicelines for the elevator cutting in the files. Although technically grimic could be Glitch-mimic rather than gregory-mimic. Edit: I also think there is a third version of the Mimic program active. We have Mimic 1.0 in the basement (who I am now thinking was responsible for the 2nd set of missing children rather than an actual physical Afton, 'trained' as an AI by accident watching Afton be a psycho, and was sealed away), Glitchtrap mind-virus via Sister Location to trained in VR from a copy of Mimic 1.0, and the so far not really revealed game version of the Tiger Rock Mimic, reprogrammed from the same or similar copy...having existed in the giant Freddie head and the white and black wires and now...part of The Tangle and in somewhat opposition to the Mimic 1.0 and Glitchtrap because it was hardcoded to keep the pizzaplex connected (gathering up the broken animatronics and bodies) and running.

It's not actually Helpi.. technically. He is mimicking Helpi as there are two different sprites for him, one that is normal with blue eyes and one that has yellow eyes and veins on his head. I think that the mask itself had the mimics AI in it and now since it's basically in Cassie's brain she needs to destroy the mimic or it won't stop following them. This also explains why the mimic knows where Cassie is when she's progressing through the story. Also keep in mind the mimic knows how to disable the security nodes so never assume it can't do more advanced things

    • @LowbrowDeluxe
      @LowbrowDeluxe Рік тому

@@FunkeMunke_ That's true, there are the destroyed nodes in the basement, and an assumption that the concrete was poured relatively recently compared to the MXES system itself. On the other hand there's no direct proof the Mimic endo is what destroyed those nodes (or if they're just extras/unconfigured nodes stored with the MXES), AND if the Mimic program is in the Vanni mask (assumption on it being the original Vanni mask and not "A" VANNI mask as it tries to imply with the intro about 'all technicians are required to wear their mask') by default I'd assume that version of the mimic program would be, well, Glitchtrap. Cause Vanni. I should have mentioned the orange eyes, though, you're right. You'd think if it was Glitchtrap doing the re-programming/infecting of Helpi they'd be purple like the infected animatronics AR glow.

It's connected to the Pizza place very closely and has a similar design, he has the blueprints for the SL scooper, understands Remnent, and was missing after his daughter's death to Fnaf 6 which was 40 years, so what was he doing in all that time?
Who knows what he could have been doing with all that knowledge and time, maybe he built the Mimic thus making the parallel even deeper to the books and would also help explain why the Mimic is trapped there, why those random suits are there and maybe they are the ones maybe mentioned in Fnaf 3.
For the Brazil ending I feel more like it's implying that the Cassie is choosing to believe the fantasy instead of what's about to happen which is the Mimic killing her so it's an escape from reality one last time, though your idea could also work.

Not to mention, William *survived* the FNAF 3 fire. He was knocked out, as we were told the effect would be in the blueprint, but the high heat didnt destroy him.
Also, while i dont remember the exact details of it, i believe someone DID note that Henry would've been hit with about a 25~ year sentence for the MCI. If he were locked up in 1985 or 1986, that'd put his release date at 2010~ at the earliest.

Stuffed into suits at a Pizzeria, left to rot (both the child corpses and suits) as your souls possessed them, shipped to a new location where bits of you were ripped out for new animatronics, modified heavily after *6* more years (8 now, total), abandoned again, torn apart, merged together, then torn into a messy soup of bits of yourself and others, dumped in some bunker for *god* knows how long, potentially up to nearly 25-30 years, merging BACK together into a freaky monster (we're now approaching 38~ years since MCI), that then finally gets burned and sealed up *again* underground for... depending on the exact date of SB, about another 6-12 years (44-50 years now)...
You'd probably be a LITTLE fucked at that point, regardless of how you'd feel initially.
Also do note: Books definitely hint that the dead *do* forget over time. The MCI kids by 1995 had forgotten their names, and believed themselves to *be* the characters they possessed. *And* that their Killer was their friend.
A bunch of kids being blended up and turned into a freaky cable monster are probably gonna be pretty feral, by then. More running off Instinct than much logic.

      >William's soul is in ultimate custom night so he did burn sufficiently to die but Cassidy wouldn't allow him to fully leave but his remnent is burnt away.
Except he *cant* die for UCN to occur. Not to mention, one unspoken rule i've noticed...
FNAF never has anything take place in the "Afterlife", and pretty rarely even *touches* on that as a topic, in the "Moving on" department.
The ONLY instance i believe that it's outright stated, was in the Stitchwraith Epilogues, once. With one potentially happening in Happiest Day, too.
Additonally, i dont think you really *KNOW* what Remnant is?
More or less, it's what makes up the Soul, what Animates you.
The Soul, or "Whole Remnant", is made up of Light Remnant and Dark Remnant.
Light Remnant is made up of Components, we dont know of any that are confirmed to exist, aside from Love, the strongest of the Lights.
Dark Remnant is ALSO made up of Components, the only one confirmed to exist for this side, of course, is Agony. The strongest of the Darks and overall.
Agony, in particular, functions as the Foundation, a sort of Glue, AND a Conduit all in one.
It's the basis that animates something. But that something isnt truly "alive" until there's something *else* in there. As for Conduit? It most likely serves as a means to transfer other Components safely, despite their normal sensitivity/lack of persistence.
We *DO* know a few aspects of Love/Light Remnant as well...
In particular, it's *incredibly* effective at Illusions and Regeneration. Like, say... Michael at the end of SL.
      >In Fnaf 3 it's likely William simply escaped the burning building that's why the place need to be specifically designed in 6 to have no chance of escape.
      Sister Location contradicts this COMPLETELY.
He is lying down in the rubble of Fazbear Frights, inside the location. He was ALSO lying down (presumably in the location too) in the FNAF 3 ending newspaper as well.
He wasnt hiding under anything either.
      >Henry's knowledge comes from William and he would have tested out remnents weakness of fire so he got it from the source that fire destroys remnent.
You *are* correct that his knowledge comes from William.
However, where would he have gotten that Remnant? Do you think he *really* tested it, personally?
"The Source", again, fires off that hypothesis with a double-maybe.
Something that reads "If Heat stuns it, does more heat destroy it?"
William wouldnt have wasted his *incredibly* valuable (And limited) supply on an experiment that'd destroy it, that easily...
He'd likely wait til he had enough he could afford to destroy some.
There's also a few aspects of Henry's Plan, aside from the core of it, which are fucking stupid too :V

I don't think the scooping room is the exact same as Sister Location, but I do believe it means something. Help Wanted 2 is gonna focus on Sister Location, and in the teaser you can find the same type of puzzle we do with the faz-wrench, now in the Sister Location elevator. So I believe Help Wanted 2 is gonna foreshadow "Security Breach 2" or "Carnival", whatever this new game is.
After playing through all Help Wanted 2 levels, we will go back to Cassie, as she and Roxy are walking across the abandoned Sister Location, being chased by the Mimic. Cut to credits. Yeah, I believe in the next game, Cassie and Roxy are gonna explore the remains of Sister Location, while trying to find an exist to the surface and escape from the Mimic. Think of the LORE we could get. Imagine how much exposition Roxy could give Cassie, about Glitchtrap and Vanessa. Imagine if Roxy and Cassie end up finding the Fnaf 4 gameplay room.
But I don't think this is all the game will be about. I think there will be a parallel story, where Gregory and Vanessa try to rescue Cassie. If the Mimic was the one who dropped the elevator, then Gregory would be worried, he would be worried because he lost communication with Cassie so abruptly, so I can see him and Vanessa teaming up to rescue her, and maybe defeat the Mimic once and for all. Also Freddy's head will probably with them.
So imagine these two parallel stories, Roxy and Cassie underground, Gregory , Vanessa and Freddy in the surface, going further and further down to find Cassie. Then in the end both parties meet, lots of exposition and lore reveals, and finally a Boss Battle against the Mimic. Something that would be crazy would be if the Mimic stole the Illusion Disks from the NIGHTMARES (assuming the Nightmares are real theory is correct). Like imagine if the Mimic finds the fnaf 4 gameplay room, finds the nightmares deactivated, takes their illusion disks and that allows him to become this super grotesque monster like the Twisted Ones. I'm just rambling at this point but that would be so cool.
It could also be that instead of a sequel will get a PREQUEL after Help Wanted 2, a prequel about a Carnival taking place in the 70s-80s. Then maybe after that we jump back to the present to Cassie, Gregory and Vanessa.

I think the Gregory in the raceway is real Greg. If it was just the mimic then it’s telling two stories at once. That it’s locked in the basement and also in the other room hiding from Roxy. But during that little Wally talky bit Greg goes from
“Cassie I’m ok I found a spot to hide” followed by the Walky talky cuts normally
“Turn off nodes in the salon to follow Roxy” radio static but no cut, similar to the elevator
“Hurry! She’s close” in a much more panicked voice.
So it’s either mimic is really bad at lying and slipped and Cassie doesn’t realize it says that it is both in the other room hiding from Roxy and also is locked in the basement at the same time. Or Gregory is at the pizzaplex at that point and then after the Roxy encounter goes to get his friend with building plans to help in the final dash.

It escaped and we find out more in HW2 since it is in the Sister Location. But after what you said about the brazil ending, I think it could possibly be canon. That or it's foreshadowing things to come for us to figure out like a lot of what you speculated. Okay, so Freddy malfunctioned and was put in Safe Mode, disconnected from the mainframe and network. He was also the only bot who wasn’t corrupted to some degree as a result.
It’s because he was disconnected from the network.
    So fast forward to Roxanne…
She’s still suffering from the Glitchtrap Virus when we meet her, but she sort of rebooted when she encountered Cassie, being snapped out of it, but not entirely.
When we meet her a second time, she’s behaving according to the Network directive. Putting on a brave face, welcoming back a guest she fondly remembers and reinforcing that special connection she and Cassie share.
When she was shut down, she was severed from the network, so when she rebooted, it too was in Safe Mode and she had no directives imposed on her save for her own recognizance: Cassie is in danger and must be saved.
Then, summoning strength and will (she IS the best after all) she got out from under the forklift and dove into that hellhole to save her Cassie.

It doesn't look like metal from inside the elevator cage, but claws. I swear I saw it at around like 6:27. You see it at the floor first and then it keeps trying to grab her til the ending of the fall. At least that's what I'm seeing.
