I do agree with most of this theory, but I dont think the mimic dropped the elevator. It wouldn't really make sense. The mimic was willing to lose it's arm to get in that elevator. Even if it just dropped it after to get back in, the elevator would likely be broken.
I'm working on a new theory right now. If glitchtrap is actually an Afton mimic scanned into the VR game, is it possible that he Mimicked tape Girl's voice for the final tapes? She seemingly ends off, telling us to hide the logs and not Reassemble them. Then, they say hello and ask if we can hear them, then they contradict everything they said before, and tell us there is a way to kill glitchtrap (which gets Vanessa taken over and Frees the mimic). Her betraying us makes little to no sense. I think the Mimic listened to her voice in the tapes, copied it, then tricked us into freeing it.
It's probably been said, but you're definitely right about the "good" ending. They didn't name it after a movie where that exact thing happens for no reason.
so on the mimic what I find weird is that it wants freedom. As freedom is a complicated thing to mimic for one to know what freedom is you would have to know your trapped in a place or situation that you find unfavourable. also the fact he used cassie would imply that it know he could use gregors voice to manipulate her which is also weird because where would he learn that especially when in sb there is no info on gregory in the pizza plex. it also that he could not use gregory or vanie would imply that they know the mimic. which make's me think that they where the ones behind mxts. which would also mean they know about the sink hole and the fact that there is a glamrock fready bag down there to me implays that at least gregory went down there at some point. as well as the comic of bruntrape and the blob which the blob is seen in ruin before the vr would mean that gergory would have to have seen both of them to draw them so accurately. sorry for the spelling and thank you for reading.
Cassie's story is a lot like the crying child minigames. she cries after she turned off Roxy, how everyone says "happy birthday!" to her and that one of the endings is her dying in the elevator. these connections must be intentional.
I think Helpi is (mostly) exactly what he appears to be. He’s a program from the VANNI mask created to help Cassie achieve her goals. Cassie says she wants to get to “Gregory”, Helpi helps her get there. And then sometimes he’s corrupted by the mimic to more closely match his aims, but mostly he just helps Cassie achieve what she’s been conned into wanting
If Helpi is only in the mask, then why does he have the ability to affect the security system? We see him disable the blue rabbit at one point, which shouldn't be possible if it's a security system.
I don't know tho, it wouldn't make sense since the mimic is supposed to be hidden by an aumented technology security. If what you said It's true, the mimic would've been freed time ago
Something I haven't seen anyone connect yet is why the freddy cutout ending is called "Brazil ending" in the files. Brazil is movie from 1985 that is kind of a cult classic. It seems to end with the protagonist escaping from the bad guys who are chasing him, reuniting with his girlfriend and running off into the sunset. But then it is revealed that he did not escape, his mind broke under the bad guys' torment, and his mind is forever lost in his escape delusion. The implication is pretty dark but I think it's clear.
I love how the ending recontextualizes the bunny glitch character. The whole game he's this creepy antagonistic force but turns out dude was just doing his job stopping the actual villain from doing any harm.
@@SmolChild1173 to be fair, what else would it do? The things that keep you from putting on/taking off the mask are far from fool proof. And as far as it knows Cassie could’ve been a malicious actor that was working with the mimic willingly and the mimic also kills people. It’s sort of a trolley problem imo, one person must die to save multiple lives. It still sucks and obviously wouldn’t be right for Cassie to die but it’s understandable motivations/reason at least.
I think the MXES program is a reworked Glitchtrap that was removed from the mimics control and turned against it. It basically has all the powers of Glitchtrap but not the motive, as it is actively trying to stop Cassie from freeing the mimic, if the mimic was in control why would it make Cassie's quest to free it harder and not easier. I think its possible Vanessa or Vanny (still not 100% convinced they are the same person) may have created it after having been freed. The princess quest game could have weakend the mimic program and Vanny could have taken it and turned it into MXES. She Gregory and Freddy go down into the sinkhole, and access the computer which would become the MXES hub.
I think my favorite thing about Ruin is the polish. This has NONE of the jank that SB had on launch and it really helps us divert our WHOLE focus to the story. Thank you steel wool for taking so many peoples criticism to heart and making a truly great expansion.
@@RyeToast i think the mask vanny used is the similar to what we use in Ruin, it explains how vanny could walk through walls and how freddy/the other animatronics, staff bots etc...... doesnt see her
Something fun about MXES is that his head is shaped more like a Hare, which are typically seen as more creepy than rabbits due to their fur being less fluffy, making them look more unhealthy
A cool detail I don’t hear people talk about is how when Cassie is going down the tunnel from Bonnie bowl to fazerblast, you can hear Roxy singing happy birthday
Data miners found lines from the mimic were labeled "Grimic", and Gregory's lines were labeled "Gregory" in the code. The elevator drop line was under Gregory. Considering Fnaf's history of code usage for lore; it doesn't seem likely the mimic took over for that scene.
Necroing a year old thread but Scott Cawthorn recently gave an interview where he revealed that "burntrap" was a pre-production placeholder name and regrets that because the name was present in the game files and discovered it's basically canonized. I think this might indicate an inclination on Scott's end to direct the studios of later projects to take specific care towards internal names. Of course, is it possible they would knowingly just lie in internal references just to avoid spoiling the next installment? I think so, but I'm of the opinion that internal labels belong with cut content as interesting but non-canon.
Something I find interesting is that, in Mimic's jumpscare, he seems to attempt to tear Cassie's head off, similar to how it tears off the heads, arms, and legs of people in the _Tales from the Pizzaplex_ epilogues. Edit: Mom, I’m famous! Seriously, though, thanks for all the likes!
@@michaelcarlton1484 not quite but whatever happend t obonnie is crazy because if anythign idont think mimic could nessecerily that easil beaten bonnie alone he had to have help
I don't think that is the earliest time we have seen that in the series, lured into a room, ambushed and dismantled. Maybe we got something really far back wrong? , say in one of the earlier fnaf games...
Important to note: It's an occipital implant, not an ocular one. The occipital lobe is at the back of your brain and is what processes the input from your eyes. Not really sure how the mask got the implant back there (maybe something wraps around the head to keep it on that we just don't see?), but the implant definitely went into the brain and not the eyes.
And Cassie went through that kind of implant like nothing, this is either some crazy in fnaf world new technology or the potential robot kid alarm is going off again
@punusername3445 she says "ow", yes. a surge in her pre-existing brain implant would cause that. it's the same "ow" she gives when she encounters the AR inhibbitors for the first time and is forced out of the mask. a surge in her implant, not the addition of a new one.
The lion suit is supposed to be gregory. The poofy hair, the bracelet/watch, but blue jacket/shirt, and the brown cut line where gregory wore shorts, its a patchwork gregory suit so he would look more convincing.
That kinda ties beautifully into what I was just thinking when I watched this video, hear me out lmao cus it's gonna sound wackadoo. Gregory in SB was possibly the mimic the whole time? And because of AR tech or Illusion disks or whatever he's perceived as being actually Gregory which kind of explains some things like why your vision goes fuzzy especially when Vanny comes close because let's possibly assume she was working in a similar capacity as Cassie in this minus the manipulation from The Mimic so Vanny had her own V.A.N.N.I. mask but in her case she used it as a means of protection or something, I'm rambling. Obviously this could probably be very easily disproved I haven't thought about it THAT hard, just thought it was an interesting idea regardless.
@@sublimescorpio230 That's true if we assume that the mimic works off of the same security system as the average animatronics but we don't actually know that they do, if anything Ruin kind of proves that it doesn't since at the end M.X.E.S is deactivated and yet the mimic can kill you while you're wearing the V.A.N.N.I mask can't it? Again I may be wrong I'm no means an expert so if there's info I don't know I'm happy to be wrong I'm just kind of voicing what I thought after reading the comment but if you're like "no dummy this lore says you're wrong", I'll accept that no problem.
@@TheDogBasti Listen if you are gonna come up with FNAF theories you have to get to the level of dumb writing that FNAF has been working with for the past 9 or so years 😂 it's the kind of dumb that's so dumb.... It just might be true 🤔
There definitely needs to be a Part 2 to Ruin, Especially after that massive cliffhanger in the elevator ending which is most likely the canon ending, I think they will make another DLC or a full on sequel to SB, It seriously cannot end like this.
i think that help wanted 2 is going to be sequel-ish to ruin. if you didn’t already see, in the trailer the same puzzle you need the faz-wrench for is in the sister location elevator, which leads to think that its either cassie or possibly her father you play as in help wanted 2, because she talks about him being a technician for fazbear entertainment and having a wrench like that.
@@linqxx Maybe that's possible, I can see HW2 being a prequel of base SB of some sort, Where we play as Cassie's father or someting, Or I think HW2 will continue on Vanessa's story because I remember in the trailer, Dread Unit says "You've done an adequate enough job the first time around to have you back." Which could mean he's talking about Vanessa, But idk, We'll find out later this year.
I think scooper is canon. In security breach the canon one was when you needed to do extra stuff. Scott usually made the canon one the least work, but it seems like Steel Wool uses the one with secrets (assuming it is princess quest and not escape or vanny that's canon)
@@gaminganimators7000Im not sure about the plankton but Im fairly sure bioluminescent fungi is a thing, in fact scientists have used it to create unnatural bioluminescent plants.
I’ve always been a firm believer in the fact that the books take place in some sort of parallel universe, and are just meant to be used as a way to help us figure out certain things about the games universe. That is what makes the most sense to me
Everyone else really forgot about the "Prototype" text in Headless Freddy's foot (though you do mention it briefly), and also the green present inside of him that's also a different color to the one at the beginning of SB with the Fazwatch. Glamrock Freddy from the main game can't be a prototype because he performs in the beginning cutscene. Only finalized designs would perform, though you could stretch that Fazbear Entertainment would do that on purpose. The "ProtoFreddy" also has a different endo design, with different feet "toes" and sharp claw-like fingers that don't match the rest of the glamrock endos or the main gang's. The real Freddy isn't infected in SB because he's rebooted into Safe Mode and thus is disconnected from the Pizzaplex network.
The thing that sticks with me the most about that Prototype Freddy is how it just....vanishes from existence when you put the Mask on.... ......Kinda like another second Freddy we know.....
@@LoLo-l3t not obviously, same location, same damage, same voices. Could be a retcon, it wouldn't be the biggest retcon Ruin has made, considering the Daycare Attendant is right there, is he a completely different one? Because he doesn't have the same name.
Bit of a wild theory here... but what if Cassie DID die on the elevator fall but her mind didn't? Since that mask chipped her mind maybe there's a chance shes still "alive" in the system. And i believe that if that is correct then maybe, and bear with me on this one, maybe we are going to be seeing Cassie again in Help Wanted 2 as someone trapped in VR. Maybe we play as Vanessa or Gregory trying to find Cassie in the system as they would know about the VANNI mask chip seeing as it was Vanessa's old mask. But idk, bit of a wild on there, but who knows.
That would be so cool but I think she would still be alive, except she's in a coma and her consciousness is in the vr. When she escaped she wakes from the coma.
@@alexander.c.jones14 that could also work! Definitely way better than the dying part actually. After all we do hear Roxy say "Cassie?" after the credits so yeah, maybe she is in some coma or something. And heck, while we are really throwing ideas out here, maybe thats why Vanessa or Gregory would go into the VR, to get her consciousness back or something along those lines. After all they know where she is, maybe they went to get her and found her there but unable to wake up with her mind trapped in the AR world or something.
Vannessa could have some sort of a psychic connection with her, since vannessa was once in the very herself, and was turned into vanny. Vannessa would be the key to saving Cassie
As a programmer, I fully believe Helpi isn't anything more than a program that helps whoever is linked to the mask. Your code will do exactly what you tell it to do
The reason why the Mimic has the costume that it does in the Scooper ending is because that stitched together costume is its best attempt at disguising itself as Gregory using the suits it has. He’s tried to dress himself up as Gregory. It also just wouldn’t make much sense for him to dress up in a white tiger costume considering that a white tiger costume never existed. All the Mimic has are the suits that were in the Pizza Place. Otherwise, great video!
@@noahgalvin8772 It seems that Gregory and Vanessa have been down there to seal the Mimic. Someone installed the MXES system down there, which wasn’t there before, and poured concrete to seal the Mimic in its room. Outside of the room with the Mimic, there’s a Freddy backpack with the name tag “Gregory” on it, which confirms that he went back down to the FFPS location. There’s also a collapsed vent that connects the two rooms with a hand print on it, suggesting that Gregory probably lured the Mimic into the room and then escaped through the vent (something that’s done in the Tales epilogues, except he actually survived) while Vanessa sealed the room. That’s probably when he dropped his Freddy walkie-talkie, explaining how the Mimic got ahold of it. So the Mimic would have seen him face to face. There’s also the fact that the Mimic has access to camera footage of Vanny chasing Gregory which he plays in the daycare theater.
I’m really hoping we get an “update” to Ruin like we did with Help Wanted. I just want a strong base for the community to theorize on if The Mimic IS confirmed in the game’s lore! Everyone is so heavily divided, and hopefully we get some answers soon! Great video! I’m loving the format of starting with what we know is true from the story, then leading into speculation territory. Awesome job!
So, another thing about the Brazil ending (cardboard cutout ending is called Brazil ending in the files), “Gregory’s” voice line is the same as the Mimic’s voice line about hiding from Roxy. I’m not sure what it might mean, but it’s a very interesting detail to point out.
@A_RandomSliceOfCheese Umm... 🤔 Not tryna be mean or anything. I understood a little bit. But wit your lack of punctuation, some spelling errors & jus confusing sentences... I'm honestly not exactly sure what you meant for like 80% of your comment. Lol 😅
I just need to state that i absolutely loved when the Freddy cutscene was played in reverse. Watching Freddy climb into a pile of rubble then go limp is hilarious lmao
IMO this Freddy is not the one we know for 2 reasons : First of all : the gift box is still wrapped in his stomach hatch, Gregory was given the gift in SB, so it's not the same gift, and imo, not the same freddy rather than the same freddy, heavily damaged but with a nice little gift added back. Second : "Prototype" is clearly written and it's the first thing you see. It's a bit meta, but the way the model is placed, the foot and the word "Prototype" is almost the first thing you gather from this encounter, even before understanding it is Freddy. In my mind, it serves as a way to clearly state "this is NOT Freddy, it's the prototype" Edit for a third thign : Freddy is invisible with mask on. He is not linked to the Vanni mask, which means, IMO, that this animatronic was not in use when the Vanni mask was created, probably already retired, so it was not added to the network !
I feel like the prototype freddy theory is not correct But it also could be because If that was the actually Glamrock Freddy he wouldn’t have the prototype on his foot. And the fact that he’s in a different position. In the vanny ending he is laying on his back and in ruin he is laying on his stomach before he gets up. And he also has a gift inside of him which he doesn’t end up having in the vanny ending when he gets destroyed by the staff bots. Although I do agree with the princess quest theory more. Since in that ending gregory grabbed Freddy’s head which is why he’s headless in ruin. And which is why when you get the cardboard cut out ending you can see gregory and Vanessa because Vanessa adopted gregory in the princess quest ending
"Prototype" is also in the description of the Golden Bonnie plushie: "A prototype?". One other thing to note is that description of the Nightmarionne plush says that "It's from that old headset game." likely referencing Help Wanted 1 or 2.
The hatred I feel for the fact that this Freddy, one that has all the injuries normal Freddy would have is most likely a prototype is unreal. Like you can't have your cake and eat it too, it comes out of no where, even if the burn trap ending is canon where tf did this guy come from???
I do think it's a bit of a stretch to say that Gregory is the one who cut the elevator at the end of the 'Normal' ending. In the playthroughs I've watched, I've noticed the subtitles (which are pretty consistent throughout the game) suddenly display two different Gregory dialogues once Cassie enters the elevator. So I'd say it's pretty heavily implied that the 'Gregory' who sacrifices Cassie is not our Gregory. I'd love to see Steel Wool come out with either a new DLC or a Security Breach sequel building off of Ruin. They've set themselves up for two possible avenues, depending on whether they plan for the Normal or Scooper endings to be canon. Either way, I think it would be interesting to play through a game in which Cassie and Roxie team up to escape the Pizzaplex, reinstalling the security network as they go.
THANK YOU, I haven’t seen anyone else talking about the ending Gregory possibly not being “the real Gregory”. The line “But we can’t risk being followed” right before the elevator is cut - at least to me - felt like it was signalling that the Mimic was the one talking, since that conversation is about the Mimic escaping.
I thought the subtitles were glitched or they made a mistake but this makes so much more sense! I mean, why would Gregory just kill his friend like that? And then not at least cry or sound more emotional over it.
Yesss this is what I said on fuhnaff and matpats. I really wanna have a Roxy and Cassie team up like Gregory and Freddie. I want to know more about their relationship and why they are so connected. ❤
Colors have always been a big clue in FNAF games. There was so much talk about the purple and green leading up to RUIN and yet nobody is talking about the golden panel accompanying HELPI or that his eyes glow gold/yellow at times. And the MXES construct isn't green or purple or any color that jumps out at us right away, which really leaves me wondering who is controlling it/created it. I find it really hard to believe that an animatronic in some basement was sitting down there and also working alongside the VANNI mask to guide Cassie through the pizza plex. Maybe the Mimic got Cassie to the location and perhaps repeated certain "come help me" stuff throughout the game, but it's made clear early on that the whoever is connected to the VANNI mask, and thus the stations set up around the pizza plex, can easily replicate voices. I feel it's much more likely the Mimic can repeat basic catchphrases like, "come help me" but the software within the VANNI can do a lot more like "you need to shut down all the nodes in the etc, etc, etc". I really find it hard to believe it's Mimic making all the Gregory voices the entire game with just a basic walkie-talkie.
this is perfect. it explains EXACTLY how "gregory" randomly calls us on the walkie-talkie while the mimic and roxy are fighting. That isnt gregory, its VANNI trying to lead us into the elevator shaft. I mean how cliché would it be that gregory manages to magically contact Cassie on the walkie talkie through that entire building + how would he even have a walkie-talkie thats connected to ours.
Speaking of the colors....Take note of how Roxy shows green with the mask on. I feel there's some sort of connection to Charlie here. Green for friendly is....Yes it makes sense, but color choices are often VERY deliberate in this series. And as you noted, the gold is another VERY interesting color choice, and Cassie is awfully similar to Cassidy. Not to mention the destroyed remains of the Golden Glamrock Freddy statue are prominently featured in the teaser poster. Also worth noting on that front is how the Prototype Freddy has no head and just vanishes with the mask on.....Very reminiscent of FNAF 2 if you think about it.....
i dont really think colours have ever really been a big clue in fnaf, like it was used a few times at best, the whole thing about charlie being green and will being purple and the green and purple mix and all that is a very recent and rather silly thing, colours have been very inconsistent in fnaf and almost always only mean a direct visual connection, as in, a char's text colour will be the same as that char's main sprite colour in whatever current minigame
Maybe the it’s the blob then there was an Easter egg that potentially indicates it’s watching Cassie, or at least roaming around the pizzaplex, and I think the many versions of baby might be a possibility too, considering the creepy room with lots of baby dolls for no apparent reason
But the Mimic constantly puts on other costumes like the Jester, Mushroom Man, etc. and not once in the epilogues does it put on the Tiger Costume because there is none. It’s literally a head in the Storyteller.
If Steel Wool presented him as a White Tiger then that would be an inconsistency with the books. Also the only reason it takes the form of a White Tiger is because the Mimic AI is present within the Storyteller which is a White Tiger. With it still connected to the Pizzaplex it’d make since for it to be in that form.
It also appears as a white Tiger through the vr game, and is related to a tiger plush that David held. I thik that’s enough to say that the mimic would choose to presented as the White Tiger when it can. Kind of like as if it was it’s favorite
@@navi0760 Well when it appears as that in Tiger Rock, the Storyteller is in the process of being removed but it’s still connected to the Pizzaplex and in turn the games and attractions. So when Kai enters the VR Booth it takes the form of the Tiger because in that moment it is the Storyteller, a White Tiger.
I’m not saying it wouldn’t prefer it but we haven’t seen enough instances. The two instances we see Storyteller and Tiger Rock feel more like coincidences and not a conscious choice because technically it is wearing Tiger Rock but really it’s AI is just inside of the costume head
I can see where you coming from with the Tiger Rock connection but I gotta disagree. Here's my take. The reason the Mimic is not presenting itself as the Tiger anymore is because it's not mimicking it. It stopped mimicking it when Glitchtrap/Mimic1 took control of the Mimic body. That was when the Mimic started to gain it's Afton persona and became Burntrap. When the PQ ending happened, Glitchtrap was killed and the Afton persona disappeared. The Mimic was back to square one. Then Gregory came along and installed the M.X.E.S program. In order to do this, he had to lure the Mimic and seal it behind concrete. You can see a handprint inside of the fallen vent next to Gregory's backpack meaning Gregory narrowly escaped. This would also explain how the Mimic has the Walkie Talkie. This is when the Mimic decides to Mimic Gregory.
This point may be a bit of a stretch, but the stitched--together costume that it wears does *very vaguely* resemble Gregory, at least as best as the Mimic could create with the materials it had in that room. Blue shirt thing and an orange bracelet in place of the the Faz-watch. Again, that could be a stretch, but its interesting. This would make sense in conjunction with how The Mimic is acting: Gregory beat Princess Quest and seemingly went back down there to seal Mimic away. It has given up on the Springbonnie charade [either because of PQ, Gregory, Blob, or whoever], and now that it has to escape, it decided to copy the next best thing: Gregory.
@@derekmartin5340 Exactly! It’s trying its best to mimic Gregory. Another point, notice how the scooper ending very closely parallels the Burntrap ending. He also has the same left arm and it’s positioned exactly like Burntrap. Mimic is definitely Burntrap
@@derekmartin5340 Respectfully bro, you are cooking. To add on, a lion's face comes forward with a snout, but the head of the costume doesn't have a snout. Of course, if he wants to Mimic Gregory, he would rip off the snout to make the head look more like a flatter, human face
What I’m wondering is how long the Mimic was down there for. It seems to have a very different Endoskeleton than any of the characters in the pizzaplex, and its abilities being referenced by Candy Cadet seem to imply it’s at least been around since Pizza Sim….
It's been around since the birth of Fazbear Entertainment. In it's literal origin story it's described to be made during the 1983-1985 era (Chica being mentioned in the story) This shouldn't really be a question when it has already been answered
In the books he was sealed there atleast from the start of building of the pizzaplex so many years meaby even decades, and his code mimic1 has been free in the vr for some time too
Ruin didn’t even feel like an addition of Security Breach. My favorite thing was the fact that it had a clear path forward rather than you run around and find stuff like Security Breach did. It was honestly such a fun experience (besides the mini Music Man chapter that I struggled HEAVILY in due to my dumb dumb energy)
Cassy is reenacting Princess Quest by walking around in a dark place with a light source and dealing with a digitized creepy bunny-thing that keeps getting into her way. The princess graphics used to be named Cassidy and I wonder if the reason why they were renamed is if Cassy and Ruin were already being planned out and if Cassy was originally supose to be named Cassidy to intentionally generate confusion, until say Scott walked in and said; "no, that will make the fans mad". I wonder about this because a golden-colored piece of merch was once mislabeled as Cassidy and Scott wanted that corrected pretty quickly not to lead fans down the wrong rabbit hole; could the same have happened here with steel wool creating a new character that's suppose to reference/callback to an old character?
@@A.B.-ub9un It's difficult to say why Scott didn't like the merch name. And we were never told why post-release the file names for Princess Quest were re-named. All we know is that Scott seems very particular about how that name is used. Of course, it may be possible that he's protective of all of the child victim names, but we may have not heard of those behind-the-scenes stories. All we know are these two times were something happened/got released and then retro-actively were changed. Other, similar things could have happened before products were released and we then wouldn't be able to know of those times it happened. But if you want to put on a tinfoil hat, Cassidy might be a "guarded" name because it holds some load-baring importance to the overall story, so it's used carefully.
@@Starrrycandy At least it shows the creator's dedication to LORE relevance. I low-key doubt a lot of other brands would care about one mis-named object.
Something that’s actually interesting (that you can’t see unless you glitch out the game or look at the files). Is the fact that in the mimics little hideaway safe room I guess we can call it there’s actually old school mascot suits and they look very similar to Glitch-trap. they have that old 70s to 80s look to them and the big question is why the hell are those there? Edit: these suits could be suits that were used before animatronic technology had been used, maybe even the old mascot costumes that the phone guy mentions in Fnaf three.
I feel like these suits are 100% a glimpse into the Fredbear's Family Diner Era, and that The Mimic is a prototype animatronic from then. Though I will admit, that idea in itself is shakey due to evidence that The Mimic can connect to wireless systems....
@@Jarsix42 Maybe potentially both things could be true at the same time? Maybe vanny experimented on the mimic and upgraded some of its systems or something.
The phone guy in FNAF 3 mentions some costumes that seem inappropriate for the establishment. I believe the mascot costumes that can be found with the Mimic are the exact costumes they used to replace the Springlock suits. These costumes were probably not intended for the Fazbear restaurants and were probably found at Goodwill or some shit lmao. Also, the costumes seem very reminiscent of the 50s or 60s with the jacket the lion wears and the glasses the bird wears.
Likely not the intent, but I think it'd be funny if the elephant costume you find down there was the original Orville the Elephant. Further setting up potential future plot threads with something familiar to springboard off of
I wonder if there's a connection between the Mimic wearing a big, stitched-together suit, and the stories of Candy Cadet, prominently featuring the idea of five things becoming one thing that doesn't work as well as the individual things. Especially given that Candy Cadet actually showed up Perhaps the Mimic, stuck in the burned out pizzeria, occupied itself listening to candy cadet, and then learned from what it heard and decided to stitch together those costumes.
Candy Cadet requires tokens to work, though. How would the Mimic get access to the tokens? Could it be whatever entity managed to modify a STAFF bot into Maskbot, since that guarantees that there is an entity with a physical presence acting in the Pizzaplex? There is also the possibility that it just hacked Candy Cadet, but how?
Alright here is my terrible theory about Glamrock Bonnie, he's the fifth broken dead thing in the center of four robots that sound like ghosts, that sounds just like GIVE GIFTS GIVE LIFE. What if Bonnie was possessed by Cassidy somehow so Vanny had him destroyed and then whoever sealed the Mimic reused Bonnie's programs and thus Cassidy's spirit to make MXES?
@@Vigriff Oh and another thing, Cassidy being Bonnie isn't the strangest thing because I believe I heard she was possessing bonnie in the silver eyes novel, He's her second most associated animatronics besides obviously the main yellow theory baiting thumbnail star himself
If you get the ending where you put on the mask Gregory and the Bear are transparent. But Vanessa is not. Makes me think she's still trapped. Like that's her actual soul/consciousness sitting under that tree.
7:50 For Candy Cadet's story, I was propose that Cassie is the boy and the monster is the Mimic since Cassie sets the Mimic free just like how the boy lets the monster out. Also, the monster learns the lullaby, like how the Mimic copies, learns things and mimics them. Pretty simple to me, but then who would be the mother? I would say Gregory since the mother sings the lullaby that the monster copies, and lures the son and Gregory's voice is what the Mimic copies the entire time to lure Cassie to set it free.
Great video! I'm convinced of a couple things such as how MXES was the good guy, Cassies father is important, the mimic is a parallel, and, of course, princess quest is the actual ending. However, I have some theories of my own. MXES was probably made by Gregory and Vanessa, Vanessa because she is aware of the existence of the mimic and what the vanny mask can do, and Gregory because we find comic 8 (burntrap ending) and his backpack, not to mention the mimic mimicking him and having his walkie talkie suggest that he was down there at some point between security breach and ruin. Gregory was also shown to try warning Cassie through the Staff bots which shows he has limited control of the ruined pizzaplex. Regarding the bad ending, I think its quite funny to think that the mimic somehow single-handedly (no pun intended, F for the mimics arm) went back to the original room to pick up the walkie talkie and talk through it right at the moment when gregory is explaining things, and then somehow disabled the elevator at the same time. Also, regarding the Roxy voice, I think I can safely assume that the mimic decided to mimic Roxy and that Cassie opened the elevator door and died. Regarding the mimic itself, whether or not you believe Henry built the mimic, the game makes it quite clear that Henry was aware of the mimic shown by the story given by Candy Cadet(also quite funny to think it had a story that somehow wasn't found by Michael while playtesting it multiple times).
The mimic didnt have to go back to get the walkie talkie. Gregory is guiding Cassie through to the elevator on the walkie talkie but once in there is speaking through the intercom on the wall, just like how Helpi can do that when we are using cameras to lure animatronics around in the game If Helpi and the Mimic are both working together in some way this could be them talking to Cassie in the lift I personally dont believe that Gregory is in the game at all, it's strange how he starts talking to us through a walkie talkie that was left at the pizzaplex or how he can speak to use in the elevator. This is probably something else using his voice to guide Cassie to her death
@morereasons-6655 You forgot about the staff bots, Gregory tried to warn Cassie towards the end of the game through the staff bot. This shows that Gregory was somewhat nearby since that time unless that was also somehow the mimic which i somehow doubt
@@adventureraku4556 ahh I never noticed it, I've played through all chapters 3 times each and would have noticed it. As you can't confirm where it is and have only got second hand knowledge of the DLC I can't take your word that it exists
4:12 actually in the pause menu for that area it says in the corner of the screen 'they never did finish the foxy log ride' meaning that foxy was planned to be in the pizzaplex but never was finished
Wow. This just gave me perspective Cassie had a birthday No one came Except Gregory and Roxy her favorite No wonder she would go out of her way to try and save Gregory ❤
@@awesomeness_man9550 it seems like YOU'RE assuming something. their comment implied nothing more than that they were friends. you're the one making it weird lmao
To be fair, the Mimic has worn many, many costumes and from what I understand, seems to take whatever persona is appropriate, atleast in terms of the Tiger Rock story, which would explain Glitchtrap if he is the Mimic.
I’ve been wondering this since Ruin dropped, but why is The Mimic *SO* connected with Sister Location? He recreated Michael’s room, he recreated the Scooper, he made an elephant costume that represents Ennard(The party hat and button. Not to mention they both start with E) he has a lion costume and lions are associated with the circus. I’m not sure about the Chicken costume but maybe Funtime Chica?
@@emmagracx Mimics totally make sense as a quick solution to 'Multiple simultaneous springlock failures' Until they do something they aren't supposed to... A copied bad behaviour.
The theory about Freddy always being a prototype makes sense because they wouldn't want a robot that has someone's soul in it being the permanent one since most can agree Michael is in it. It's seems the glitchtrap AI has been spreading through the pizza pizzaplex after the main game ended, and that's why he turned on Cassie. The Mimic being scooped seems like the Canon ending to me, though as it leaves Cassie still trapped but also leaves Gregory in the dark on if it got out or not.
You forgot to mention that the comic pages that we can find are showing us all the endings as if they were gregory's creations, but we don't get to see any with the PQ ending And also that we having the vanni mask is only possible with Vanesa leaving It behind, which is what happens in that same ending
For the PROTOTYPE on Freddy’s foot, it’s hard to tell. On the gameplay trailer, that scene didn’t show the PROTOTYPE written on Freddy’s foot. Companies remove certain things from the trailers to avoid giving too much information. Let’s say it’s actually the Glamrock Freddy we know from SB, maybe the PROTOTYPE written was painted, and now that it’s withered we can finally see it. Maybe it was intentionally added to avoid the issues with them coding the Burntrap ending as the CANON ending (even naming the song that plays during the credits as “Happy (True) Ending”) and simply making us feel like it’s not the same Freddy. Maybe they messed up at some point. And it has a lot to do with SB having lots of cut content and thus creating some narrative issues, where RUIN has been trying to fix (heck, even RUIN has a stronger narrative and is a really polished game!). So… because I love this ending, I’d say that historically the PQ ending is the canon ending and that we in fact destroyed all the animatronics in order to get there (even though the Burntrap ending is the only one that requires us to do so). Either way, great theory, and we hope we can get some straight answers from the devs either by them creating another DLC or a sequel for SB!
@@Toads_Loads and I’m not saying you are I’m just saying he doesn’t understand the lore because it’s a theory not a fact and plus he might have bin right on some things
nice video. i still find it incredible funny that for years "fans" have been screeching at anyone who even so much as dared to suggest the books hold some canonity to them, but ever since the pizzaplex series came out, now suddenly everything in the books is 100% canon. it's just bonkers how easy people flip.
I honestly just hope Steel Wool and Scott Cawthon go all in on one plot. No matter what you do someone isn't going to like that decision, you can't make everyone happy all the time. I pray they focus on a unified compelling narrative and not a murky pacifying one.
This isn't a theory about the lore, but I think Roxy was portrayed more positively because she's got a lot of fanart and fan popularity, and it's that simple.
Yeah, I think you're right about that. Also, in SB she seemed to have more genuine emotion than the others (e.g. she had self-esteem issues, genuinely got angry when Gregory took her eyes rather than just the blind murderous rampage of Chica and Monty, etc), which may have been a setup for some sort of redemption arc by making her more interesting in the first place.
I think that's the main reason why the team did it, but I also assume that there would be lore implications as well. They could have just made her look like the other animatronics in AR, but they didn't, and they chose green specifically to highlight her missing parts.
18:12 i don’t think so, the game files say « grimic » each time the mimic pretends to be gregory, and when it’s the actual gregory who speaks, it says « gregory ». And when gregory said « we can’t risk being followed » the game files said « gregory » and not « grimic » which confirms gregory was the one to say this. In the books, the mimic doesn’t recognize doors that don’t have handles, he thinks they’re walls. And when Cassie got in the elevator, a metallic gate (without handles) closed, breaking the mimic’s arm THEN the elevator doors closed, so the mimic probably just thought a wall close on it or smth. Also because the mimic THREW the walkie talkie then chased Cassie, I doubt it would take 10 seconds for it to go back and take the walkie talkie. The mimic’s purpose in RUIN was to lure Cassie to let it out, whereas its purpose in general is that it thinks humans are robots that need to be torn apart. I doubt the mimic would find any use in giving Cassie a before death speech.
7:38 I am PRETTY damn sure that this whole cave is a reference to The Twisted Ones, I mean it's got it all! - Running water - Glowing mushrooms - An abandoned pizzeria smack-dab in the middle - A creepy robot that uses illusions - Technology that in no way should still be functional I will stand by my point, Steel Wool did some reading.
Im still in the camp that that's somehow not the Freddy we know. One could argue about the "prototype" on his foot being a retcon, but the present in his stomach wasnt there at all (and wasnt even the same color at the beginning of SB). If we are saying that this is the Freddy from SB, then someone planted the present inside, which is a little weird to me.
When it comes to the identity of Cassidy's father, I can't help but notice the weird connections that can be made to Henry Emily. Hear me out, firstly: colour association is a big thing in the fnaf franchise. Purple is associated with the Afton's (mainly William), Yellow with golden freddie (and characters associated with him like fredbear) and in the security puppet mini-game in pizzeria simulator we see the colour green being associated with Charlie through her wristband. Cassy also has a weird association to the colour green, through her fingernails and also in when roxy is reassembled through the Vani mask, it's in the colour green as well. Cassy's father also being Henry does line up considering he used to work for and with Fazcorp (back in the old days, and also in Pizzeria simulator when he was orchestrating everything). Him being talked about in the past tense makes sense because he passed away during the Pizzeria sim fire. You could also line up. the fact that he would collect the vintage lunch boxes as his desire to get back to the good old days (ya know, before all the child murdering stuff). But I'm not going to lie, this theory has weird implications, especially cause it implies that Cassy is Charlie Emily which doesn't make a lot of sense (but their is also a lot of similarities between Gregory and crying child which are unexplained) but I though it was worth pointing out. Maybe someone else has a perspective on this that i missed?
But in the books Mimic wears a whole bunch of costumes (physically) and takes many forms (virtually). A jester, the tiger, the mushroom guy, the owl, Monty, the HEAD in The Storyteller. It's even stated in the books that the Mimic can shape itself to fit any costume so it doesn't have to be a White Tiger. Also, in it's origin story in Nexie, Mimic wears a lion costume (just like the games) and rips apart a boy named Dominique.
@@glycon6828 contradicting evidence, because up until now TalesGames was in everyone's throats trying to prove that Burntrap was the mimic, and how the corpse was explained through a epilogue and the endo was explained through bonnie, and how the difference was explained through it being able to use costumes. But then every single one of these points got shutdown on this DLC
I think Mimic is just a lure device reprogrammed by Vanny, because of the vanny drawings you see exactly in the FNAF 6 SB underground location where Burntrap was. I REALLY think Steelwool is trying to tell us something but nobody wants to listen to their Easter eggs 😭
That continuity split actually makes the most logistical sense. Thinking about it in regards to Fazbear frights as well, we know some of what happened there could be referenced in or references to the main timeline. Looking at each book series (minus the original trilogy) they seem to follow each canon style we're presented with. Fazbear frights deals with games 1-6, while Tales covers the "modern" canon while maybe tackling some past events (see Edwin in Tales being a Henry allegory). But, like Fazbear frights, events from the games happened in similar fashion to the books. With Frights, Afton can still be caught in a fire (whether that be FNaF 3 or 6), but unlike his game counter part, the Afton of Frights goes on to posses the stitch wraith which we don't ever hear reference to. With Tales, the Mimic can be both a white tiger, while also being this mascot thing. Extending that further, Frights & Tales probably do not exist in the same timeline, but rather, serving the main purpose of providing clarity to the games while telling new stories within FNaF's world.
The Fredbear cutout ending is apparently called the "Brazil" ending in the files, which I'm fairly certain is a reference to Terry Gilliam's 1985 movie, also called "Brazil." Brazil ends with the protagonist escaping his predicament and getting a Big Happy Ending, only for the story to reveal he imagined the escape and is both still trapped and forever hallucinating.
Finally!!!! I’ve been seeing bits and pieces of play throughs, but I’ve really just needed someone to explain it to me. I don’t have the time/patience to watch all the different stuff to get context. So thanks!!!
Most likely, the mask is the same mask Vanny used. The scooper ending is possibly the real end to the mimic, but the mimic system still exists as there are 2 in the book: The system built into the mimic and the software taken from it. The mimic acts and behaves in the same way as the book. I don't think its a coincidence the mimic stories had to come out first. Also, for extra credit, I don't think Edwin is a parallel for Henry because we know when Henry dies and the FNAF 6 location seems to back that up. Edwin dies at a different time and in a different way. There's no parallel to their deaths.
I 100% agree with that part about the mimic being similar to the one from the books, but not being from the same continuity. The lion mask feels like an intentional "kind of, but not *quite*" thing.
My first thought was that Bonny's programming linked to the wet floor bots. Since you have to deactivate them all to get to him and he goes offline when you deactivate the final one, like it was the only way his programming could stay alive otherwise. That way he could watch everything going on in the mall..
TL:DR: Glitchtrap is in everything Pizzaplex I think that potentially we've been looking at the pizzaplex wrong. FNAF Help wanted told us that Glitchtrap's code was used as a base for the game right? What if that actually perpetuated into Glitchtraps code being used for every aspect of the pizzaplex, and it just manifests in different ways. All of the systems have Glitchtrap in them as a base, they just react/adapt to that code different/have different parts of that code appear in their personality. Chica: Afton's Greed (Eating everything she sees) Roxy: Afton's Vanity (His need to be the best, the most successful) Monty: Afton's Jealousy (Wanting bonny's position and eventually taking it by force) Freddie: Afton's protectiveness over his "son" Gregory (I know thats a touchy subject, but for this theory it works) Ruin gives us more toward that, showing us MXES as a rabbit. If it is an AI (Which, given its capacity to learn as you go through the game it seems very likely), then the fact it picks a rabbit, speaks of its disposition towards that appearance (Glitchtrap shining through once more). For Helpi, its as simple as the Purple colouring/corruption appearing. For the Mimic, its harder because we havent seen alot of them yet, but it's violent nature could be a sign of some amounts of Glitchtrap shining through The main difference between Help wanted and the Pizzaplex being that they didnt put all of Glitchtraps code in one place, since the player gathers it all in Help wanted we see Glitchtrap's full form, but in the pizzaplex it stays seperated. Seperate parts of code reacting and learning in seperate ways. Most of this is speculative but i'd love to hear your thoughts.
Similar thoughts... Vanny isn't in sight anywhere, as if her story is through. Freddy's head is gone; with Gregory, and Vanessa is also not in the Pizzaplex anymore either.
Can we also talk about the present in Ruined Freddy’s chest?? I assumed that and the “prototype” on his foot was Steel Wool tipping us off that this isn’t our/Gregory’s Freddy. The only time we see a present in Freddy’s chest is when we get the Fazwatch in SB, right? No matter what ending you go for, you HAVE to take the watch. So our Freddy wouldn’t have a present in his chest cavity!
Here is something I’ve put together that revolves around the backstory of Glamrock Bonnie. During the Monty Golf Ride with the cutouts, it tells a fake story set up by Fazbear Entertainment to cover up what truely happened to Bonnie. They say that Bonnie willingly gave up his place in the band to Monty, but what really happened is Monty was jealous of Bonnie so he destroyed him behind the bowling alley out of jealously and rage b/c he wanted to be part of the band, instead of his one man band. He shoved him against the broken wall as shown, clawed his chest open, dismembered most of his limbs, and finished him off by smashing his head open with a bowling ball. It’s gruesome, but when you actually think about it, it makes more sense
It doesn't make sense, however. Monty didn't have claws before Bonnie's decommission, plus, all of his jealousy and envy is directed towards Freddy, not Bonnie. All you wrote is just fanfiction
@@DonArlem how do you explain the green paint and four finger claw marks embedded in Bonnie’s chest? And this is just a theory, I can believe whatever I want.

There are 4 Endings, though 1 was cut. - ??? (Cut Ending) - Elevator (NeutralEnding) - Scooper (ScoopEnding) - Brazil (BadEnding) *Brazil was an old movie where the guy goes insane after a war? And hides away and dies in an imaginary world. Implying that the Fredbear cutout ending means Cassie dies underground-as the Mimic kills her, she's distracted, and "Gregory(?)" tells her it's safe...
At the end where we hear 'Roxy' say Cassie, I wanna say that might have even been the Mimic. During the fight scene / talk with Greg, at the last second or 2, we can hear a voice that is similar to Roxy, but sounds like it is not complete yet, like the Mimic is learning her voice, say "Cassie".
3:45. The developers revealed that this Easter egg is glitched. One of the Patpats does not spawn if you're replaying the chapters, thus you are not able to reach Bonnie. However, if you wish to do it legit without exploits, You can play through the game again without using the chapters to go back and collect any missing Patpats and you can get in there.
it would be thematically interesting if the best endings are always the canon endings. Security Breach likely ended with its best ending; if Ruin ended with the scooper, not only does it actually progress the story, but we get much more possibilities with its implication.
Your point with the Mimic not wearing a tiger costume is very fair. My only counterpoint is that, if this is the Mimic from Tales, and Tales is canon, there wouldn’t be a tiger costume down there with him in the first place. Most of the mascot costumes hidden in Ruin have a counterpart in the books. But if the Mimic had a tiger costume to wear in the FNaF 6 building, we would’ve already seen it, which is why we don’t see it in Ruin. It simply doesn’t exist. Hence why the Mimic would go with a lion. It’s very close to a tiger, and it’s the best option he has to present as something similar to a tiger.
the bunny’s posture is interesting because whenever you encounter them it feels like an authority figure watching you, like a parent or teacher. also it’s funny how the bunny doesn’t attack you immediately, like how a teacher would give you a chance to stop what you’re doing or a parent counting to three. not sure how the connection would fit in but i found it interesting
Tbh I think the true ending of SB is actually a combination of ALL the endings. The fact that Pizzeria simulator and the blob do infact exist in Ruin tells me that Gregory wasnt just imagining them, since if they werent canon then Gregory wouldnt know they existed to "imagine" them via drawings. Theres also Burntrap; there is absolutely no sign of him and its pretty clear now that he and the mimic arent the same animatronic, so the only explanation is that the blob destroyed it. Imo it goes like this: Gregory does immediately leave, but Vanny finds him and drags him back (bad ending); Gregory escapes and does his thing, a fight ensues between Vanny and Freddy in fazerblast (unmasked ending) which results in Freddy being damaged and having his head removed (dismantled ending) and Vanessa being saved because Gregory had already done the princess quest arcades as shown with his obvious obsession with arcades, having high scores with many arcades already (princess quest ending); Vanessa tells Gregory they cant leave yet and have to deal with Burntrap (true ending), then finally they all escape in a work van (good ending) because why wouldnt you? Vanessa is staff and likely had a set of keys to the van, plus its the easiest way to get as far away as possible. Gregory simply summed it all up in a comic, but being a child exaggerated a few details. This not only ensures everything in Ruin makes sense, but also ties up loose ends with endings like the two Vanessas; it can be explained as Vanessa being metaphorically saved while the Vanny persona dies.
Love the video but wanted to add that it looks like the mimic is no longer in the suit after it is grabbed by the scooper, not sure if it means the mimic is still alive after that ending but it may be something to consider
Given that the Sister Location scooper was a device made to remove endoskeletons from their casings, I'm guessing that the mimic probably wasn't destroyed. But considering how rough the scooper is depicted as being, I'm not sure it will still be in one piece if and when it does show up again.
11:44 CAP! In ending he was on floor, DLC is on trash, our Freddy did not have written prototype word, trash one does Our Freddy had empty stomach, this one has gift Also our died on back, this drunk shit is on stomach
Doesn't make sense that he would help Vanessa but not her. The mimic is getting out either way, whether she survives or not. I believe it was the mimic doing Gregory's voice at the end at the elevator, giving her the wrong directions on purpose. I don't think Gregory's is in it at all. I think the mimic wanted her not to leave to use her voice next as the next "trap" to get another kid down there again. Maybe this time to get Gregory himself.
Low-key I think you're one of if not the most grounded theorizer in the community rn Your theories tend to always make a lot of sense in comparison to others imo
The Story In Ruin, you play as a girl named Cassie. The goal of the game is to free their friend, Gregory, by deactivating security nodes around the map. Once you deactivate all the Security Nodes, you learn that an animatronic was mimicking the voice of Gregory to get you to free it, you run to an elevator but then get dropped by the real Gregory. Ruin was left on a cliffhanger, in which it’s implied Cassie survived as an animatronic said her name post credits. Cassie Cassie is the main character of Ruin who is friends with Gregory(Security Breach’s main character.) **Design** Her design is very unique, consisting of: •Deep Tan skin color •Amber eye color •Brown hair color •Short, pigtails hairstyle •Long sleeve, red shirt •Blue and white shorts •Green nails **Personality** From what I’ve gathered, Cassie is way more caring than Gregory. “Poor Roxy.” “Chica? What happened to you? You look awful.” She can also be quite impatient too, as shown from the very beginning of the game, she gets quite antsy while waiting for Gregory. Her favorite animatronic is Roxanne Wolf “A walkie-talkie of my *favorite* character.” **Cassie’s Father** Based off what she’s said of him we know a few things about him: *After picking up the Faz-wrench* “A Faz-Wrench, it’s just like my dads…” Her dad was a technician or mechanic at the Pizzaplex. *Description of AR Chica Lunchbox* “My dad used to collect these.” Her dad was a collector. *Description of AR Bonnie Lunchbox* “Bonnie was my dad’s favorite.” Bonnie was her dad’s favorite. **Cassie’s special day** Cassie’s special day is mentioned by Roxy, it’s also mentioned none of her friends came that day. The Animatronics **Glamrock Chica** Glamrock Chica is the first animatronic seen in Ruin, the changes from Security Breach are she’s more damaged, she’s has cheese all over her and she has a trash bag hanging down from her stomach. We are given the option to give her the beak Gregory stole in Security Breach. **Maskbot** Maskbot is the new Mapbot from Security Breach and gives you a key component in the game, Vanny’s mask. **Montgomery Gator** Monty is the most aggressive animatronic in the game, and at one point swims around in a flooded area of the map like an Alligator. The changes from Security Breach is a fully missing outer shell, a missing eye. His cause of deactivation is electricity. **Daycare Attendant** The Daycare Attendant is a fan favorite animatronic due to its jester like appearance, split personality, and relation to Kellen Goff. Let’s be honest, that guy can turn any character into a fan favorite… The Daycare Attendant’s split personalities go by “Sundrop, Sun for short” and “Moondrop, Moon for short” along with the new arrival “Eclipse.” From what we’ve seen, Eclipse isn’t like the two personalities in one. He cares about the well-being of us.(Sun only wants to get his job done and Moon just wants to play pranks on people.) The Daycare Attendant has half of its endoskeleton face showing. Sun asks us to reboot him, then once we do The Daycare Attendant turns into Eclipse. **Glamrock Endo** Nothing has changed, they’re still the Weeping Angel rip-off’s we love. **S.T.A.F.F. Bot** The S.T.A.F.F. Bot makes a short appearance, either saying “Do you need assistance?x3” or Gregory(either the real or fake one, most likely the real one) calling out to Cassie. **Roxanne Wolf** Roxy’s attitude towards Cassie is much better than her attitude towards Gregory, she’s quite nice to Cassie and even saves her from an animatronic. She now has her entire frontal head area off, her ear covers are also off and she’s way more burnt and beaten up. Poor girl. **Wet Floor Bot** The Wet Floor Bot’s are scattered across the Pizzaplex. Deactivating all of them will lead you to a secret in Bonnie’s Bowl. **Glamrock Bonnie** Glamrock Bonnie is the secret you unlock for deactivating all Wet Floor Bot’s. In Security Breach we were left to presume he was torn apart by Monty. He isn’t as broken down as we thought so maybe we will be able to repair him one day. **Lil’ Music Men** The Lil’ Music Men are featured as a not so difficult obstacle. They appear in vents or groups. **Proto-Freddy** In the Fazer Blast maze you find a headless Freddy with “Prototype” written on its foot. He also isn’t shown in the AR World. The damage Freddy suffered resembles the damage in the Savior ending of FNaF Security Breach. **Candy Cadet** Candy Cadet appears to tell another story relating to the events of Ruin and Help Wanted. **The Blob** The Blob appears in chapter 1 or 2 for a split second with a more beat up version, he’s also most likely the one who made all the Tunnels. We only see F. Freddy, Bonnie and Baby on him this time. **The Mimic** At the end of Ruin, Mimic, a copycat endoskeleton made by Edwin Murray, appears. Long story short it turned evil and ended up here. Mimic is also the one who lured you here with the sound of Gregory’s voice. In one ending Mimic appears fitted with a stitched together costume resembling a lion. Mimic loses an arm in one of the endings. This is also the animatronic Roxy fights. M.X.E.S Security Program The M.X.E.S Security Program(or as I call him, Firewall) was designed by either Gregory or Vanessa to keep the Mimic under surveillance and trapped in the sinkhole. The M.X.E.S Security Program constantly stops you in your attempts to try and free the Mimic(in Cassie’s defense she thinks it’s Gregory.) it is unclear what M.X.E.S stands for. Cassie shuts down the Security Program and accidentally frees the Mimic. The Endings FNaF Ruin has three different endings, 2 of which are speculated to be the canon endings. **The Elevator Ending** This ending is unlocked by going through the door on your right when with the two door option when running from Mimic and fixing the elevator’s panel controls. Once you do that, Cassie enters the elevator and presumably Gregory says we can’t be followed then drops you. After the credits Roxy says “Cassie?” As she tries and wakes you up. Some believe this might’ve been Mimic mimicking Cassie. **The Scooper Ending** This ending is unlocked by finding secret camera’s throughout the games and unlocking the door in each of them, then turning to the left door when Mimic chases you, you’ll notice mimic now has a Lion suit on. When you reach the room you press a button activating the scooper. Mimic gets picked up by the scooper and presumably dies and the game ends. **The Brazil Ending** This ending is a reference to an 80’s movies called Brazil where the main character is being totured and falls into insanity. Security Breach True Ending Security Breach’s true ending can be one of two. Savior ending or Burntrap ending. People who believe the Savior ending argue that: •The Pizzaplex closed due to an earthquake. •There is no Vanny, but her mask is still there. •Freddy is headless in Fazer Blast. •Entering Vanessa’s room shows us the Princess’ sword and Glitchtrap on the wall. •Every ending has a drawing except Princess Quest. People who believe the Burntrap ending argue that: •The Pizzaplex fell to ruins and people wrote it off as an earthquake. •Vanessa got out or died and left her mask. •Freddy has prototype written on his foot. •The PQ VR thing can be written off as an easter egg. •The Burntrap ending is called the “True Ending” in the files. Most Popular Theories •Mimic was in FNaF Sister Location •Burntrap isn’t canon •M.X.E.S is a rewritten coding of Glitchtrap •Cassie’s special day is happiest day •Cassie is Cassidy •Mimic isn’t Burntrap
something that seems very significant to me about the mimic's design is that it is very clearly made of mix and matched endoskeleton parts. the three most important observations that i can make on the parts it uses is that its teeth appear to be the same as those of the daycare attendant's endoskeleton (which, strangely, move whenever it talks) and that its left hand is identical to burntrap's hands, and lastly, it's upper right leg is made of a bunch of wrapped wires, resembling muscle fibers in a similar way that the funtime animatronics' endoskeletons do. as far as i'm aware, the daycare attendant is the only other animatronic with those odd teeth on it's endoskeleton, and burntrap is the only animatronic with an endoskeleton that has clawed hands. i have no real observations to make about the leg that hold any weight at all, but i do have stuff to say about the other two things. from what i've heard, the daycare attendant was formerly used as a performer at the fazbear theater, but was later moved to the daycare. the moon form of it supposedly acts the way it does because it was considered too expensive to reprogram, so it was always kept in it's sun form. this *may* imply that the daycare attendant uses an older version of the glamrock endo, or it could be an intentionally unique design choice that was made for a certain purpose, which is backed up by the strange way that the teeth move while it talks. this could mean that the head the mimic uses is from the same time period, or was used for a similar purpose to the daycare attendant's. about the burntrap hand, this could mean that the mimic disassembled burntrap, and took only *a* hand. i'm unsure why it would only take the hand, but that's what appears to have happened.
@12:40 I'm not sure it means he's dead. Was his favorite still makes sense if his favorite is no longer around. If a sandwich got taken off a menu and I said "darn that was my dad's favorite" it wouldn't have to mean he's dead. Also for collecting the lunchboxes, it's very possible that refers to something he did when he was younger as collecting lunchboxes is more of a "kid" focused collector thing and also one that's not as common anymore (because they don't really get made anymore). Parents also have hobbies fall by the wayside a bit either due to time or money after having kids. It very well could have an implied "before Bonnie got destroyed" and "when he was younger" for those two sentences respectively. Papa Cassie aint dead yet in my book.
Cassie is a parallel to Charlie or Elizabeth. She has a father who worked at a Fazbear location (Her dad has the wrench). She’s definitely special as the sound of her voice is able to make Roxanne lose hostility. She’s friends with Gregory who is a Crying Child parallel. Cassie has (seemingly) negative opinions on Circus Baby (in her descriptions of the plush babies she says “What’s she doing here?” and “Discontinued.”) A lot of this is speculation (almost all of it) but what she said about the wrench really got me thinking. (Robot Children)
Roxy stopped being aggressive most likely because She heard Cassie's voice and Roxy is only being aggressive to Gregory, for obvious reasons. I wouldn't say that makes her special just that Roxy didn't consider her a target because she hasn't done anything to be a target.
The whole thing with how the mimic took over last second which was indicated by the microphone feedback sound is one of those things that once you notice you can't unnoticed
I have theory about the mask. I'm 95% sure that the same mask from Vanny and to prove it in the Daycare Theater room Cassie said that's "is the same mask that I have on" which adds evidence to the Princess Quest Ending even more and plus Vanessa is wearing the exact purple shirt from The Princess Quest Ending to the Ruin one. Also, we might actually be looking at the exact same thing when putting on what Vanny does.
I don't think that cassie's dad is dead because: 1. Bonnie was decommissioned, so he could've changed which one was his favorite 2. Maybe he ran out of ones to collect
When Helpi starts to glitch out I think it is Gregory trying to get in there to actually help Cassi. I could be wrong, but it is just what I feel like is happening.
On the Gregory and Mimic making the elevator note I just wanna add it literally makes no sense for Gregory to lead Cassie all the way to the elevator if he was gonna sacrifice her to make sure the Mimic didn't follow her anyway, like: Unless I missed something, Cassie jumps directly from the room where the Mimic was to the cave labyrinth, meaning the whole in the wall was already made, so the Mimic always had access to the elevator but couldn't open it. It's Cassie the one who uses the Faz-Wrench to make it work in the first place, so if Gregory wanted to make sure the Mimic doesn't follow Cassie outside, he wouldn't have guided her and have her repair the one exit the Mimic had, he would have just let her die there That and the unused dialogues where Gregory said "But make sure it doesn't follow you" instead of "we can't risk being followed" makes it pretty clear to me it was the Mimic breaking the elevator rather than Gregory (Sorry for the long rant, I just like Gregory a lot and I'm tired of people trying to make him the villain)

I just adore how Helpi will just gaslight you, both when corrupted and not. He's just a menace
He really is and we love him for it
It's revenge for how they treated him in the character encyclopedia
I think Helpi is (mostly) exactly what he appears to be. He’s a program from the VANNI mask created to help Cassie achieve her goals. Cassie says she wants to get to “Gregory”, Helpi helps her get there. And then sometimes he’s corrupted by the mimic to more closely match his aims, but mostly he just helps Cassie achieve what she’s been conned into wanting
Yeah. Helpi also has an indicator of when he's being corrupted. The purple veins
@@kittydemonoverkillHe also has yellow eyes, as opposed to his regular blue ones.
If Helpi is only in the mask, then why does he have the ability to affect the security system? We see him disable the blue rabbit at one point, which shouldn't be possible if it's a security system.
@@bunnyben5607the mimic or helping used an actual like, physical jammer to do that

The implication is pretty dark but I think it's clear.

yeah but he does it by trying to kill us which is kinda trashy
@@SmolChild1173 to be fair, what else would it do? The things that keep you from putting on/taking off the mask are far from fool proof. And as far as it knows Cassie could’ve been a malicious actor that was working with the mimic willingly and the mimic also kills people. It’s sort of a trolley problem imo, one person must die to save multiple lives. It still sucks and obviously wouldn’t be right for Cassie to die but it’s understandable motivations/reason at least.
it might be trying to call the animatronics to catch you but because they aren't functioning properly they attack instead
it can't even be put on a moral compass right? it is just a currently running security program.
For real, there are a few pretty big glitches, but you really only encounter them when doing speedrun strats which is like every game

Interesting, intentionally less inviting, especially compared to a certain infamous fluffy bunny suit.

Data miners found lines from the mimic were labeled "Grimic", and Gregory's lines were labeled "Gregory" in the code. The elevator drop line was under Gregory. Considering Fnaf's history of code usage for lore; it doesn't seem likely the mimic took over for that scene.
Fair. I can't believe the grimic shake caused all of this

I want a sequel with Cassie and Roxie acting like glam rock Freddie from the main game.

The lion suit is supposed to be gregory. The poofy hair, the bracelet/watch, but blue jacket/shirt, and the brown cut line where gregory wore shorts, its a patchwork gregory suit so he would look more convincing.
That's a pretty interesting idea I've not seen anyone else mention.
@shadowbowser5674 Yes especially since in the ending of that ending Cassie is still alive because you can hear Roxy say her name
Maybe SB is gonna have 3 more DLCs, making 5 nights at Freddy's pizzaplex
I think scooper is canon. In security breach the canon one was when you needed to do extra stuff. Scott usually made the canon one the least work, but it seems like Steel Wool uses the one with secrets (assuming it is princess quest and not escape or vanny that's canon)

That also connects the ending, Cassie falling in the elevator, to the beginning of Help Wanted 2; going down the Sister Location elevator.
This would actually be really cool
I don’t think so it doesn’t look anything like Gregory.
@@EpicRandomness555 It doesn't, it's an "attempt", if you look it close and compare with a render of Gregory you can see what the Mimic was doing.
How would the mimic know what Gregory looks like? Or do you think its just guessing.
My main question is why it only gets the costume in this ending
I’m really hoping we get an “update” to Ruin like we did with Help Wanted. I just want a strong base for the community to theorize on if The Mimic IS confirmed in the game’s lore! Everyone is so heavily divided, and hopefully we get some answers soon!
Great video! I’m loving the format of starting with what we know is true from the story, then leading into speculation territory. Awesome job!

Well not all games only in security breach and security breach ruin DLC
hes blatantly confirmed. but books looking to be canon like baby was in fnaf world

So, another thing about the Brazil ending (cardboard cutout ending is called Brazil ending in the files), “Gregory’s” voice line is the same as the Mimic’s voice line about hiding from Roxy. I’m not sure what it might mean, but it’s a very interesting detail to point out.
I think it's just Cassie finding a place to hide in her mind as she waits for death.

I just need to state that i absolutely loved when the Freddy cutscene was played in reverse. Watching Freddy climb into a pile of rubble then go limp is hilarious lmao
IMO this Freddy is not the one we know for 2 reasons :
First of all : the gift box is still wrapped in his stomach hatch, Gregory was given the gift in SB, so it's not the same gift, and imo, not the same freddy rather than the same freddy, heavily damaged but with a nice little gift added back.
Second : "Prototype" is clearly written and it's the first thing you see. It's a bit meta, but the way the model is placed, the foot and the word "Prototype" is almost the first thing you gather from this encounter, even before understanding it is Freddy. In my mind, it serves as a way to clearly state "this is NOT Freddy, it's the prototype"
Edit for a third thign : Freddy is invisible with mask on. He is not linked to the Vanni mask, which means, IMO, that this animatronic was not in use when the Vanni mask was created, probably already retired, so it was not added to the network !
I agree with these reasons.
👁👄👁👍
Oh, yeah! Good points
@@Jarsix42if green equals good, what about Baby and Glitchtrap who are both associated with green and are both evil
Finally someone who knows things.
Who let you guys cook cus I'm enjoying it
Toast definitely needs to see this.
In it's literal origin story it's described to be made during the 1983-1985 era (Chica being mentioned in the story)
This shouldn't really be a question when it has already been answered
Maybe its what's left of lefty?
In the books he was sealed there atleast from the start of building of the pizzaplex so many years meaby even decades, and his code mimic1 has been free in the vr for some time too
Ruin didn’t even feel like an addition of Security Breach. My favorite thing was the fact that it had a clear path forward rather than you run around and find stuff like Security Breach did. It was honestly such a fun experience (besides the mini Music Man chapter that I struggled HEAVILY in due to my dumb dumb energy)
Anyone else curious about the 5 balloons in the cutout ending? They just seem so deliberately placed there..
Reminds me of Happiest Day.
Which makes me think Gregory isn't as safe as we thought.
Gone but never forgotten, RIP Cassidy Kazoo 🙏
Does that mean Cassidy is no longer Golden Freddy then?
Roxy went from super full of herself and troubled to the a sweetheart and I love it
Something that’s actually interesting (that you can’t see unless you glitch out the game or look at the files).
Especially given that Candy Cadet actually showed up
Perhaps the Mimic, stuck in the burned out pizzeria, occupied itself listening to candy cadet, and then learned from what it heard and decided to stitch together those costumes.
@@hanhong2267 Seeing as we literally find coins down there it's pretty safe to assume there were probably more
Alright here is my terrible theory about Glamrock Bonnie, he's the fifth broken dead thing in the center of four robots that sound like ghosts, that sounds just like GIVE GIFTS GIVE LIFE.

Gregory is guiding Cassie through to the elevator on the walkie talkie but once in there is speaking through the intercom on the wall, just like how Helpi can do that when we are using cameras to lure animatronics around in the game
If Helpi and the Mimic are both working together in some way this could be them talking to Cassie in the lift
I personally dont believe that Gregory is in the game at all, it's strange how he starts talking to us through a walkie talkie that was left at the pizzaplex or how he can speak to use in the elevator.

Maybe Baby is also a version of the Mimic since ‘pretending’ is her/Ennard’s thing and Ennard does mimic Elizabeth’s voice in the secret office
Not to mention the Help Wanted 2 trailer is only Sister Location
@@Jayquinator-X That might not be true, we also have pizza sim and potentially a full FNAF 4.

You forgot to mention that the comic pages that we can find are showing us all the endings as if they were gregory's creations, but we don't get to see any with the PQ ending
And also that we having the vanni mask is only possible with Vanesa leaving It behind, which is what happens in that same ending

For real! Like what happened lmao
Holy shit!

- A creepy robot that uses illusions
- Technology that in no way should still be functional
I will stand by my point, Steel Wool did some reading.
It's just to say it's The Mimic, but the tales books are not the exact same as the game lore
@@SkeletonLord I think Tales is in the games timeline for a multitude of reasons but I know there's evidence for both sides
@@glycon6828 contradicting evidence, because up until now TalesGames was in everyone's throats trying to prove that Burntrap was the mimic, and how the corpse was explained through a epilogue and the endo was explained through bonnie, and how the difference was explained through it being able to use costumes.

@@punusername3445 Turns out they were wrong, Burntrap isn't the mimic (or at least the main body), its this thing.

The candy cadet story actually tells the story of security breach really well.
MXES/Data Bonnie/RXQ/Shadow Bonnie IS THE EXACT SAME inverted colors as Vanessa's outfit in Base SB.
Linking them together.
5:10 Eclipse also does. First says “Happy birthday!” Then “Child in danger”
7:48 I just realized that Candy Cadet was warning us about the nature of the Mimic
The Fredbear cutout ending is apparently called the "Brazil" ending in the files, which I'm fairly certain is a reference to Terry Gilliam's 1985 movie, also called "Brazil."
Brazil ends with the protagonist escaping his predicament and getting a Big Happy Ending, only for the story to reveal he imagined the escape and is both still trapped and forever hallucinating.
The lion mask feels like an intentional "kind of, but not *quite*" thing.
if you look closely, ruin freddy does not have monty's claw, while in the cutscene in sb he does.
My first thought was that Bonny's programming linked to the wet floor bots. Since you have to deactivate them all to get to him and he goes offline when you deactivate the final one, like it was the only way his programming could stay alive otherwise. That way he could watch everything going on in the mall..
TL:DR: Glitchtrap is in everything Pizzaplex
I think that potentially we've been looking at the pizzaplex wrong.
Chica: Afton's Greed (Eating everything she sees)
Roxy: Afton's Vanity (His need to be the best, the most successful)
Monty: Afton's Jealousy (Wanting bonny's position and eventually taking it by force)
Freddie: Afton's protectiveness over his "son" Gregory (I know thats a touchy subject, but for this theory it works)
Ruin gives us more toward that, showing us MXES as a rabbit. If it is an AI (Which, given its capacity to learn as you go through the game it seems very likely), then the fact it picks a rabbit, speaks of its disposition towards that appearance (Glitchtrap shining through once more). For Helpi, its as simple as the Purple colouring/corruption appearing.
For the Mimic, its harder because we havent seen alot of them yet, but it's violent nature could be a sign of some amounts of Glitchtrap shining through
The main difference between Help wanted and the Pizzaplex being that they didnt put all of Glitchtraps code in one place, since the player gathers it all in Help wanted we see Glitchtrap's full form, but in the pizzaplex it stays seperated.
"Her dad's dead" feels like speculation to me. Of course that's all past tense, the place has been shutdown for how long?
Can we also talk about the present in Ruined Freddy’s chest?? I assumed that and the “prototype” on his foot was Steel Wool tipping us off that this isn’t our/Gregory’s Freddy. The only time we see a present in Freddy’s chest is when we get the Fazwatch in SB, right? No matter what ending you go for, you HAVE to take the watch. So our Freddy wouldn’t have a present in his chest cavity!
i’m new here so idk if you do this all the time or not but i just really love how you’re holding the freddy plush as you’re talking
Yes! I see no one talking about the obvious broken bowling ball surrounding Bonnie he totally got his head caved in by it!
I thought that too when I saw it!
It doesn't make sense, however. Monty didn't have claws before Bonnie's decommission, plus, all of his jealousy and envy is directed towards Freddy, not Bonnie. All you wrote is just fanfiction

I thought the Scooper Mimic was trying to make itself look more like Gregory.
11:44 CAP!
In ending he was on floor, DLC is on trash, our Freddy did not have written prototype word, trash one does
Our Freddy had empty stomach, this one has gift
Also our died on back, this drunk shit is on stomach
You have to deactivate all the wet floor signs in a single run to gain access to the easter egg
Can't wait to see what Rye thinks about the plush baby room and the talley marks in the corner 😳 very spooky
Low-key I think you're one of if not the most grounded theorizer in the community rn
Your theories tend to always make a lot of sense in comparison to others imo
The Story
In Ruin, you play as a girl named Cassie.
Cassie
Cassie is the main character of Ruin who is friends with Gregory(Security Breach’s main character.)
**Design**
Her design is very unique, consisting of:
•Deep Tan skin color
•Amber eye color
•Brown hair color
•Short, pigtails hairstyle
•Long sleeve, red shirt
•Blue and white shorts
•Green nails
**Personality**
From what I’ve gathered, Cassie is way more caring than Gregory. “Poor Roxy.” “Chica? What happened to you? You look awful.” She can also be quite impatient too, as shown from the very beginning of the game, she gets quite antsy while waiting for Gregory. Her favorite animatronic is Roxanne Wolf “A walkie-talkie of my *favorite* character.”
**Cassie’s Father**
Based off what she’s said of him we know a few things about him:
*After picking up the Faz-wrench*
“A Faz-Wrench, it’s just like my dads…”
Her dad was a technician or mechanic at the Pizzaplex.
*Description of AR Chica Lunchbox*
“My dad used to collect these.”
Her dad was a collector.
*Description of AR Bonnie Lunchbox*
“Bonnie was my dad’s favorite.”
Bonnie was her dad’s favorite.
**Cassie’s special day**
Cassie’s special day is mentioned by Roxy, it’s also mentioned none of her friends came that day.
The Animatronics
**Glamrock Chica**
Glamrock Chica is the first animatronic seen in Ruin, the changes from Security Breach are she’s more damaged, she’s has cheese all over her and she has a trash bag hanging down from her stomach. We are given the option to give her the beak Gregory stole in Security Breach.
**Maskbot**
Maskbot is the new Mapbot from Security Breach and gives you a key component in the game, Vanny’s mask.
**Montgomery Gator**
Monty is the most aggressive animatronic in the game, and at one point swims around in a flooded area of the map like an Alligator. The changes from Security Breach is a fully missing outer shell, a missing eye. His cause of deactivation is electricity.
**Daycare Attendant**
The Daycare Attendant is a fan favorite animatronic due to its jester like appearance, split personality, and relation to Kellen Goff.
Let’s be honest, that guy can turn any character into a fan favorite…
The Daycare Attendant’s split personalities go by “Sundrop, Sun for short” and “Moondrop, Moon for short” along with the new arrival “Eclipse.” From what we’ve seen, Eclipse isn’t like the two personalities in one. He cares about the well-being of us.(Sun only wants to get his job done and Moon just wants to play pranks on people.) The Daycare Attendant has half of its endoskeleton face showing. Sun asks us to reboot him, then once we do The Daycare Attendant turns into Eclipse.
**Glamrock Endo**
Nothing has changed, they’re still the Weeping Angel rip-off’s we love.
**S.T.A.F.F. Bot**
The S.T.A.F.F. Bot makes a short appearance, either saying “Do you need assistance?x3” or Gregory(either the real or fake one, most likely the real one) calling out to Cassie.
**Roxanne Wolf**
Roxy’s attitude towards Cassie is much better than her attitude towards Gregory, she’s quite nice to Cassie and even saves her from an animatronic. She now has her entire frontal head area off, her ear covers are also off and she’s way more burnt and beaten up. Poor girl.
**Wet Floor Bot**
The Wet Floor Bot’s are scattered across the Pizzaplex. Deactivating all of them will lead you to a secret in Bonnie’s Bowl.
**Glamrock Bonnie**
Glamrock Bonnie is the secret you unlock for deactivating all Wet Floor Bot’s. In Security Breach we were left to presume he was torn apart by Monty. He isn’t as broken down as we thought so maybe we will be able to repair him one day.
**Lil’ Music Men**
The Lil’ Music Men are featured as a not so difficult obstacle. They appear in vents or groups.
**Proto-Freddy**
In the Fazer Blast maze you find a headless Freddy with “Prototype” written on its foot. He also isn’t shown in the AR World. The damage Freddy suffered resembles the damage in the Savior ending of FNaF Security Breach.
**Candy Cadet**
Candy Cadet appears to tell another story relating to the events of Ruin and Help Wanted.
**The Blob**
The Blob appears in chapter 1 or 2 for a split second with a more beat up version, he’s also most likely the one who made all the Tunnels. We only see F. Freddy, Bonnie and Baby on him this time.
**The Mimic**
At the end of Ruin, Mimic, a copycat endoskeleton made by Edwin Murray, appears.
M.X.E.S Security Program
The M.X.E.S Security Program(or as I call him, Firewall) was designed by either Gregory or Vanessa to keep the Mimic under surveillance and trapped in the sinkhole. The M.X.E.S Security Program constantly stops you in your attempts to try and free the Mimic(in Cassie’s defense she thinks it’s Gregory.) it is unclear what M.X.E.S stands for. Cassie shuts down the Security Program and accidentally frees the Mimic.
The Endings
FNaF Ruin has three different endings, 2 of which are speculated to be the canon endings.
**The Elevator Ending**
This ending is unlocked by going through the door on your right when with the two door option when running from Mimic and fixing the elevator’s panel controls. Once you do that, Cassie enters the elevator and presumably Gregory says we can’t be followed then drops you. After the credits Roxy says “Cassie?” As she tries and wakes you up. Some believe this might’ve been Mimic mimicking Cassie.
**The Scooper Ending**
This ending is unlocked by finding secret camera’s throughout the games and unlocking the door in each of them, then turning to the left door when Mimic chases you, you’ll notice mimic now has a Lion suit on. When you reach the room you press a button activating the scooper. Mimic gets picked up by the scooper and presumably dies and the game ends.
**The Brazil Ending**
This ending is a reference to an 80’s movies called Brazil where the main character is being totured and falls into insanity.
Security Breach True Ending
Security Breach’s true ending can be one of two. Savior ending or Burntrap ending.
People who believe the Savior ending argue that:
•The Pizzaplex closed due to an earthquake.
•There is no Vanny, but her mask is still there.
•Freddy is headless in Fazer Blast.
•Entering Vanessa’s room shows us the Princess’ sword and Glitchtrap on the wall.
•Every ending has a drawing except Princess Quest.
People who believe the Burntrap ending argue that:
•The Pizzaplex fell to ruins and people wrote it off as an earthquake.
•Vanessa got out or died and left her mask.
•Freddy has prototype written on his foot.
•The PQ VR thing can be written off as an easter egg.
•The Burntrap ending is called the “True Ending” in the files.
Most Popular Theories
•Mimic was in FNaF Sister Location
•Burntrap isn’t canon
•M.X.E.S is a rewritten coding of Glitchtrap
•Cassie’s special day is happiest day
•Cassie is Cassidy
•Mimic isn’t Burntrap
Burntrap is cannon cause of prototype Freddy meaning Freddy escaped and the place is in rubble like shown in Burntrap ending
@@artbyphobia The Pizzaplex was said to have crumbled due to an earthquake, whether that’s true or not is a different question
@@artbyphobiadisassembled Freddy ending and princess quest are canon
something that seems very significant to me about the mimic's design is that it is very clearly made of mix and matched endoskeleton parts. the three most important observations that i can make on the parts it uses is that its teeth appear to be the same as those of the daycare attendant's endoskeleton (which, strangely, move whenever it talks) and that its left hand is identical to burntrap's hands, and lastly, it's upper right leg is made of a bunch of wrapped wires, resembling muscle fibers in a similar way that the funtime animatronics' endoskeletons do. as far as i'm aware, the daycare attendant is the only other animatronic with those odd teeth on it's endoskeleton, and burntrap is the only animatronic with an endoskeleton that has clawed hands. i have no real observations to make about the leg that hold any weight at all, but i do have stuff to say about the other two things.
from what i've heard, the daycare attendant was formerly used as a performer at the fazbear theater, but was later moved to the daycare. the moon form of it supposedly acts the way it does because it was considered too expensive to reprogram, so it was always kept in it's sun form. this *may* imply that the daycare attendant uses an older version of the glamrock endo, or it could be an intentionally unique design choice that was made for a certain purpose, which is backed up by the strange way that the teeth move while it talks. this could mean that the head the mimic uses is from the same time period, or was used for a similar purpose to the daycare attendant's.
about the burntrap hand, this could mean that the mimic disassembled burntrap, and took only *a* hand. i'm unsure why it would only take the hand, but that's what appears to have happened.
@@the_cat_the_cat The Mimic might’ve lost a hand
Cassie has (seemingly) negative opinions on Circus Baby (in her descriptions of the plush babies she says “What’s she doing here?” and “Discontinued.”)
A lot of this is speculation (almost all of it) but what she said about the wrench really got me thinking.
I don't think that cassie's dad is dead because:
1. Bonnie was decommissioned, so he could've changed which one was his favorite
2. Maybe he ran out of ones to collect
When Helpi starts to glitch out I think it is Gregory trying to get in there to actually help Cassi. I could be wrong, but it is just what I feel like is happening.
On the Gregory and Mimic making the elevator note I just wanna add it literally makes no sense for Gregory to lead Cassie all the way to the elevator if he was gonna sacrifice her to make sure the Mimic didn't follow her anyway, like:
Unless I missed something, Cassie jumps directly from the room where the Mimic was to the cave labyrinth, meaning the whole in the wall was already made, so the Mimic always had access to the elevator but couldn't open it. It's Cassie the one who uses the Faz-Wrench to make it work in the first place, so if Gregory wanted to make sure the Mimic doesn't follow Cassie outside, he wouldn't have guided her and have her repair the one exit the Mimic had, he would have just let her die there
That and the unused dialogues where Gregory said "But make sure it doesn't follow you" instead of "we can't risk being followed" makes it pretty clear to me it was the Mimic breaking the elevator rather than Gregory
(Sorry for the long rant, I just like Gregory a lot and I'm tired of people trying to make him the villain)
The cave seems like a reference to twisted ones. Unless it was fourth closet, but I remember it being twisted ones.
I think fuhnaff mentioned that on his live stream, I'm excited to see what his theory is
