Pocket pistol analogy is spot on. I have the 12 gauge version but I wouldn’t feel under armed with the 20. In fact I trust 20 enough that we’re going to pick one up for my wife. And like you, I keep mine staged without a round in the chamber. Another good video.

Thanks bro, I appreciate that! 👊 I thought so 😂. This will be a great firearm for her! It is surprisingly manageable the 6 lb weight really keeps down that recoil. It might take a minute to find that sweet spot where you want to hold it but once you do it's an enjoyable firearm.

I implore you to born again with Jesus if you are not already. The difference is what God does, not what we do. I want to see you in heaven for eternity. Thank you brother for another wonderful vid

Maaaan I want one now! I bought the Rock Island VRF14 when it came out a couple years ago, kind of the same "firearm" idea but it's mag fed. The thing runs and it's hilarious, but looking back-- perhaps a Shockwave would have been the better choice.
Fully agree on empty chamber for shotshell firearms, and 20ga was a good call IMO

@@brokeboytactical4397 that's how it goes! It's their first US-Made firearm I believe, so that's pretty neat

Had one in 12 gauge, ended up selling for an AR. Great guns but like your old video idk if I'd use a shotgun for home defense

I would never deliberately choose one for sure. But not having this guy lying around for an emergency just seems asinine to me especially for its compact size and it's amazing price. It's a 590 for about $320 I mean come on right?! 😂 That's a really high grade firearm at a very budget-friendly price. And I stand by that it's a very versatile platform. This really could be a one and done gun. Defensive, combative, hunting, emergency bug out, breaching...ECT. Other than concealed carry I can't really think of a role that this wouldn't fit into. It may not be the best at said role but it will definitelyl fit into a lot of if not most roles and again for a 590 at 320 bucks it's going to be really hard to beat. It's a neat little gun for sure

@@brokeboytactical4397 . I carried mine if we went on really secluded camping trips. Fit in my pack perfectly

I want the 20 for every reason you stated but I wonder if the 12, being heavier, would be even tamer than the 20 while using reduced recoil buckshot or something, also permitting you anything from minishells to full house shells if need be. Is there any merit to that logic you think? For context, smaller frame dude here and Ive never shot a stockless "shotgun" so minute differences in percieved recoil are probably significant to me, but Ive wanted a middle finger to the ATF gun for a long time lol

Oh yeah, quite a bit more recoil. The 12 gauge is about 7lbs and as where the 20 gauge is around 6 lbs. There's hardly even a pound difference between them. The 12 kicks like a freaking mule. Surprisingly still manageable for a 12 ga of it's size though. I just like the 20 because I have females in the house and I don't feel underarmed with a 20ga. I'm of average height but I'm pretty muscular and dense. I weight about 195 and I'm 5'8 and I still have a little bit of a hard time with the 12 gauge version. So I would recommend the 20 gauge. And the ammo versatility problem isn't as bad as I thought it was if you go online. They have 99% of the stuff for 20 they do for 12. And no joke it's about half The recoil! Without sacrificing half the power. In fact 20 and 12 are ballistically similar at self-defense distances out of a firearm like this. The only downside I see to this is that 20 gauge can cost exactly as much if not a tiny bit more than 12 gauge.

For some reason it keeps unsubscribing me from your channel. It's been doing it to almost all the channels I'm subbed to.

UA-cam has been on a kick lately of unsubscribing people from my channel taking likes away and deleting comments... Apparently this is a trend going around with all of the firearm and knife channels. I'm really sorry that's happening to you man I hope you stick around
