37 Weeks from Slab Pour and Our Build with HomeGroup is complete. Today we picked the keys up and tomorrow we move in!

Really enjoyed watching your home building journey from Auckland NZ, found it really inspiring and informative. We signed with New Choice Homes in August 23 and arrived in Perth Jan 24. A year plus on, how has your house been? Is there anything you would have done different? Congrats and all the best 👍

Brilliant videos. Me and my wife binged all ypur videos yesterday lol. We moved to Tasmania from UK just over a year ago and should hopefully be starting the build in 3/4 weeks. Hope your loving your new home and congratulations. Be good to see a updated video of ypu guys living in it.
Great video series guy. Would love to see an update about how you guys have been enjoying your new family home the past year. We started the process the same time as you guys and we only got the keys to our home just before Christmas. It was hectic but so glad it's over

Definitely a PowerPoint in broom cupboard is needed for charging a vacuum , you can always add it. We are adding ours after handover.

Thank You!! Our internal flooring is complete, carpets to Bedrooms and Theatre room with all other areas tiles. Waiting for Front Garden landscape meeting. I'm Paving the sides of the house and we need to plan the back garden.

I was wondering, would you share all your pre start costs be it privately or otherwise. I am anxious about our upcoming pre start lol
No prestart cost will be thew same, there is so many little things you don't even see that add up, electrical is what we spent the most on upgrading extra lights and power points, added frameless shower, larger bath, mitre cut tiles, upgraded door lock
@@peterrocks5949 Thank you for your comment. Luckily, we have a sparky in the family and will be doing extras for us. I was more hoping for information about upgrading the carpets, the reason why they didn't end up going with hybrid flooring, things along those lines. 😁

Depends so much on land and house design. Somewhere close to us can anywhere from 400-600k

Thank you!! We really can’t fault HomeGroup they have been amazing. Finding the block and the right house design is key, the HomeGroup sales guy we used was awesome for this, let us know if you would like his number
