"Racecar updated" and "Racecar Part 2"
I really love this song.. Specially the one on self-titled album. This one is heavier though..
Enjoy!
I do not claim copyright to this music
I never grow tired by this song wether it be the demo, instrumental, or regular version this song is a god damn masterpiece
Isaac Moreno same man. Such a great composition. Some of Mishas finest work imo
Dude same, been listening to this masterpiece for almost 7 years lol.
Isaac Moreno same we should make a group just for this song
It's probably still my fav of all
I can’t listen to periphery with vocals. It detracts from the music imo
My favorite periphery song, I have a lot of good memories listening to this over and over and again while playing gmod a couple years back
this is probably my favorite song written by misha
well technically Jake Bowen is the genesis of this song, I think he wrote the opening riff and most of the rhythms throughout the song at least
Still holding the test of time in my book
This original version is still very nostalgic since I first heard it on Misha's Myspace page years ago.
Bulb is Misha the guitarist , he basically writes most of the main riffs for periphery i'm pretty sure it's mostly all his ideas
yeah but i'm pretty sure he had help from jake on racecar
best song ever, pure excellence, im so happy to know that, and I see people who don't know sadly jajajaja!
If you had spent day in and out listening to Bulb before he joined periphery, you would feel dissatisfied too. Back when bulb had a Myspace with 4 demos and 80 songs on torrent, he was untouchable. He really needs no one else. Periphery was successful , Yes, I will not argue that. But the star shines brightest when stood alone.
well said, I like periphery but I always felt there were too many cooks in the kitchen with that band.
I get where you're coming from but he literally had help on this song. The entire thing was co written with Jake. And it's one of Periphery's greatest if not greatest masterpiece.
@@J.PC.Designs Yeah all of Misha's old demos hit extremely hard even though they're not as "professional" I prefer the original Fuf recording compared to Fuf 1.5 (And will probably prefer it to the final album version on Misha's solo album as well)
I couldn't agree more.
I think p1 was by far the most experimental but imo the other members really added alot of variety, especially when mark holocomb joined, who I cant understand why you would think would taint the music in any way, the guy has a great touch, feel, technique, and originality and really compliments the new periphery sound.
i love all races
i could listen to 9:28 for hours
That whole section
i could listen to this whole song for hours, and i probably did because its such a long banger
No loomis solo:( still good though.
Masterpiece.
this is art
periphery!!!
The album version has a lot more layers and the mastering's better, so I figure that if somebody doesn't like Spencer, They should just listen to the instrumental version of the album version. This is pretty cool too, though. :)
[Wikipedia] Bulb is the nickname of the guitarist of the band Periphery.
00:08 Veil of Maya 20/200?
Bulbs Versions are so much darker than the finals from periphery ( example: 4:02 following). Does anyone know other songs or bands with such a dramatic and dark theme?
Opeth maybe? Not exactly similar but they are frickin' dark
Aquilus
Xerath
And anything Hannes Grossmann writes
Mine Miner district 97
+Mine Miner vildjartha and opeth
This guitar tone is so much better than the Periphery version imo
\m/
SO GOOD
I really wonder how the master Bulb comes up with all this :V
Tatical
Why isn't this in the Bulb Archives set?
It's probably because it ended up being fleshed out more and released as a Periphery song and thus the rights are likely owned by Sumerian/Century Media, similarly to the Bulb demos of Jetpacks Was Yes! and Absolomb.
@@djxycloneofficial899 :(
Misha!!!!!
So who made this song first, Bulb or Periphery?
Jake Bowen
@@mattbermo1958 Bulb is Misha's name in the djent universe. Like Haunted Shores, Bulb is a side project of his that he formed with a friend in high school but his friend left so bulb is now completely misha.
Man can make Racecar, but only GOD can make Racecar GO.
they sound similar but Periphery just reversed the spelling of racecar to clear up any confusion. hope this helps 👍
i could listen to 9:30 for hours
holy shit i get it stop
@@J.PC.Designs 😤
