The king of tropico tutorals
Just a friendly tip to make things less confusing use the correct word. You keep saying exporting when talking about importing yet you iterated what they are and continue to use the wrong word for what you are showing.
Import tip #1: offers refresh every year, it's possible to start importing something a month and then export it back the next month! Relies on luck but you can always store stuff on warehouses for later ;)

So you mean to tell me that (in theory) once my diplomatic relationship is great with every countries, I can just close all productions and industries and start trading to make loads of monies? I’ve played Tropico for years and never thought of that! Thanks so much!

Question! My imports go as low as -26% discount and my exports as high as +20% bonus. I see yours at -61% and +87%, how do you manage to make those numbers move? I have 5 embassies with most countries at 100% relationship, customs office 100% efficiency, etc., and those numbers seem to be the most I can get. Note: I don't have the Wallstreet DLC, is that why?

How does the warehouse work? I built it but nothing is stored in it.
But how can I see how much of production I have in my island? I want to know how much sugar I have so I can decide exporting it or not. Is there a chart somewhere that shows what I currently have?
You can check your production by opening the General statistics page>Economics>Productive Buildings. Each good you produce is listed here, and clicking on the good shows the buildings responsible for its production, which you can quickly access from there.

Reason why i came here is im on the campaign mission speakeasy a d i have a broker's quest to export 1000 gold. I do have a gold mine but i havent set up a gold export trade route bc it isnt offered on the list. But somehow its still showing progress?? I shouldn't be complaining but i need to know how is that possible? Does your ports still send exports in small amounts passively from every resource you are producing?
yes, you will always automatically export staff around the world , trade route are just better opportunity to make money , you can even stop a specifics raw materials/ goods to be exported in the export/import menu so you can store them(you need warehouses) to sell when you see a better offer in the route panel
im stuck at the Fullfil i did the import&export and still not completing it please somebody help !! :(

@@Jerutastic there is a trade mission on the port the guy tells me to "fulfill route" i dont know how to do it.
