I'd disagree on point 9, ellbowdragging on a track is not a big deal, on the street it requires a lot more skill and experience; also you are speaking as if laptimes are the only means to measure the capabilities of a rider, when learning to go fast on a track (while it does of course need time and effort) is sooo much easier than street riding, because so many variables that determine the ride are close to optimal

I don’t see the problem as much as others do, if you enjoy posting your car or bike then do it. There’s a reason the car and motorcycle community exist, it’s to engage with others and have fun. Unless you’re promoting shit that will get someone hurt or killed, there’s no reason to bash someone for having fun.

i thought the whole reason people put their instagram handles on their bikes or cars is because *if* it were to ever be reposted somewhere the sticker acts as a watermark so at least they get the credit.

It's both really. Some for both. Some are in spots that wouldn't really stand out in say front shot pics but can be seen if you're behind them.

Yammie - I’m afraid in the UK ppl do look people up because of them putting it on their bikes... it’s how you connect and find other people to ride with... my bike doesn’t have them as I don’t want anything more than the plate leading back to me... but, they help bring riders together...
