My first bike was a gsxr 1000. I messed around with it in a huge empty parking lot the first day I had it. Let's say I've never been humbled by a machine before. I rode it responsibly after that day.
Look at it how you like but, I like to have my bike in the right gear at all times in case I need to accelerate to avoid a bad situation, safety purposes. So, when slowing I'm always downshifting and staying in the right gear, blipping the throttle to match engine and wheel speed, avoiding that huge clunking sound when downshifting without matching engine speed or pulling in the clutch and coasting. So when I hear a rider pull up to a stop without downshifting correctly, just pulling in the clutch and coasting, I consider them to be a bad rider. Been riding for 50 years.
I'd call it lazy more so than bad. I would liken it to when I had a manual car and just throwing it in neutral when stopping at lights because there is no need to downshift "correctly". If you know they vehicle you'll know what speed and what gear to put it back in.

First time I ever rode a dirt bike I was 11 and couldn’t get the clutch down so I revved it up and popped the clutch and did a wheelie with out even knowing I rode it out for like 30 seconds thinking his feels a lot higher than when I was sitting on it earlier. than realized I couldn’t turn and put the front wheel down. Still can’t wheelie.
Also please don't speed when going on a corner. There could be a distracted driver on a big suv and fiddling with their infotainment system and not paying attention.
Exactly I am amazed how they are brave enough to speed at corners taking account on how many dumbasses in cars are also speeding but most of all cutting corners.
@ 4:00 I've heard cops saying that before. They haven't had reports of someone riding your bike cracking nooners. Pretty sure that's a technique of theirs, though it's hard to imagine anyone would ever fall for it. But they do it, so who knows?
Curious what is unregistered rider ? Good judgement and skill are not determined by an endorsement. (Yes I have one.) Take the MSF course ,you got a license . Doesn't mean you can ride worth a crap.
Why revbomb makes a bad rider? Exhausts are supposed to be noisy so car drivers can see us. Reving is just you standing up, like, “im here, watch out for me”.
André Filipe Exhausts are noisy as a side of effect of engine functionality. Dudes just think it sounds cool... There’s a difference between loud pipes save lives and endlessly revving at a red light.

If ridden as any of these. Im not proud, but it happens too easy. I try very hard to keep smart and safe. But sometimes the inner squid comes through and i wheelie through a 25 school zone doing 60mph while drunk and only dressed with my pubes.
9:50 out of habit whenever i get on my bike after drinking i use a breathalyzer. if it gets a reading, im not riding.
Don't come to new orleans 😂
the cops follow you THAT often? wow, dude! I thought they hassled me....
@@just-dl in my city the police will blue light you if you're sitting on the bike with the engine off, let alone actually riding for fun....
@@dannypeck96 where the heck are you? I'm in Maine. The cops here are almost universally human. I was joking about them hassling me. I got a lot (I mean a LOT) of tickets in my younger years. I'm better behaved now, but, I still joke about knowing all the cops by name. Well, they know my kids by name now, so why not? (To quote a friend..."You plant corn, you get corn.")
@@just-dl kingston upon hull, england.
although we are currently in a massive wave of motorbike (well, moped) crime. mostly 16-20 year olds stealing bikes then using them to commit more crime, thefts, robberies, drug dealing, bad riding etc. police by now are being more generous with me now they know i'm not one of the bad guys but they still pull anyone on two wheels as a "show of force" to try and end this problem
Not all gearboxes are clunky, definitely isn't good for long term to just hold the clutch and clunk down the gears
Imagine pulling up to a stoplight while still in 6th gear... and then frantically banging the lever down like theyre trying to start a dirtbike
Even doing an emergency stop I can't help but tap down a couple lol
I'd call it lazy more so than bad. I would liken it to when I had a manual car and just throwing it in neutral when stopping at lights because there is no need to downshift "correctly". If you know they vehicle you'll know what speed and what gear to put it back in.
@@supersloth1667 I guess I was being prety judgemental there, lol. Enjoy!
You are a master at clickbait. I saw the title and thumbnail and instantly clicked on it it was only after that I realized it was you. I still watched the whole video, you have a way of keeping people halfway entertained. Keep it up. 😐
I must be weird. I'm a motorcycle chick that is super attracted to men riders.
My first bike was a Ducati 749s and I had a few close calls while kinda squidING. Learned a lot and matured into a safe rider
AHAHA Yammie u caught me off guard in the loo, but them laughs helped me constipation haha thanks yams
You got me with the manscaped ad. I was like how is he going to relate body hair to being a bad rider?. Love ya papa yam.
My rule is if I touch alcohol, I don’t touch the bike
Absolutely zero alcohol for me. Yes there is a limit for driving a car or riding a bike in the UK. But for me, absolutely none
It blows my mind that anyone would drink anything and then climb on a bike!
your videos always make me chuckle man. good shit
"their second bike is a busa"
My third bike is a super tenere and I only recently started feeling comfortable on it.
Squidding! Wow, there's a term we don't use over here in the UK.
Fantastic video! Totally agree with the not riding emotionally, even though it's so easy to lose calm given some people's stupidity. Get over it and stay safe!
Rev bombing tunnels is a mandatory my dude
Cowboy Jack I have a straight piped CBR 900 RR rev bomb everyone just to scare them it’s all in good cheer and actually a lot of people love it
Except for day sleeper night worker people in my neighborhood
I have a straight piped Honda 1300 cruiser I will deafen any who dare to cross my path just because I can my bike sounds like a Camaro with open headers and straight pipes
I'm not exactly a new rider but I love to do it ))
Good advice bro. Love the channel.
Yesterday my bike died going up a hill in the mud and I fell on the way back down... 😂
Amen Brother!!! Don't ride drunk!!! It don't work....AT ALL!!! love the vids...
Being called out by yammie for being on the can while watching while being on the can... Damn...
Well done. Much needed words.
Yammie: talks about people pulling mega dank whoollies
Also Yammie: I cant even wheelie
also Yammie: has been riding for years
Me: Confused
I've been riding for like 5 years and I can't wheelie
I wheelied by accident and now i can. So easy.
I can't believe I haven't seen a comment praising the Oblivion reference. Props!
Don’t do that! My name is Kevin and you literally scared the shit out of me!
Let’s not forget rev’ing your bike is part of the fun though. Done excessively I can see this being an issue but I love to rev.
Also please don't speed when going on a corner. There could be a distracted driver on a big suv and fiddling with their infotainment system and not paying attention.
Exactly I am amazed how they are brave enough to speed at corners taking account on how many dumbasses in cars are also speeding but most of all cutting corners.
Nice ride footage from Australia, that was therapeutic.
An easy way to spot a bad rider is anyone who doesn’t watch Yammie Noob
I love the fact you always quote a scripture.. And you love 2 wheels and are very informative.
Imagine watching this and being named 'Kevin'

@ 4:00 I've heard cops saying that before. They haven't had reports of someone riding your bike cracking nooners. Pretty sure that's a technique of theirs, though it's hard to imagine anyone would ever fall for it. But they do it, so who knows?
•Unregistered Riders
•Riders who are unlicensed
•Riders who make videos throwing back trash
•unsafe street Rossi’s
•people who share their bad habits
You forgot the ones that break the law (E.G wheelies) and then get pissed when a car doesn't use its indicator once.
Curious what is unregistered rider ? Good judgement and skill are not determined by an endorsement. (Yes I have one.) Take the MSF course ,you got a license . Doesn't mean you can ride worth a crap.
Lmao 😂 how you know I was on the porcelain throne?! Yammie got spies! Great video and content!
omfg i was acually taking a shit when i watched the intro im dead xD
Handy info. For when you get ready ta do somma a those mega dank afternooners off into the evening 🤟😜
If you think I'm wearing full gear on my way to the gym then you've lost it
Andres Fernandez enjoy the road rash
Andres Fernandez Youre gonna change anyway why not wear gear
You can have your shorts and tanktop below your gear and just strip it off when you get there
Attgat. Most the time
Pubes just got shipped out via usps with Yammie Noob pubes written all over the box. No worries here Yam. We got you.❤️
omg my name is kevin and I'm watching this while sitting on the toilet, jk, I ain't no kevin but I am definitely watching this from the toilet
Good to see you using some Aussie roads
How crazy was 7:40???
Why revbomb makes a bad rider? Exhausts are supposed to be noisy so car drivers can see us. Reving is just you standing up, like, “im here, watch out for me”.
André Filipe Exhausts are noisy as a side of effect of engine functionality. Dudes just think it sounds cool... There’s a difference between loud pipes save lives and endlessly revving at a red light.
T Alakiu-Marquis sure i agree i am not saying it’s ok to rev all the time, but if you make good use of it it’s way better than the horn.
