Can we give a shout out to Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes) for his pretty accurate portrayal of a kid getting a bullet fragment removed from him without anesthesia His cries and sails on top of Rick’s expressions to it just make such a difficult yet amazing to watch scene In my opinion such an underrated and not talked about enough moment in there acting skills.
This was a great episode. Seeing Rick running through the field with his son and hearing Carl go through so much pain was heartbreaking. It's great that Hershal was a veterinarian. Imagine if there was no medical care at all for Carl. Daryl is an awesome guy. I love that he's not like his brother.
This episode was nothing short of exceptional The acting was done so well by everyone especially Andrew Lincoln And Jon Bernthal (Rick and Shane) It’s also frustrating because they at least deserved an Emmy nomination but they didn’t.
At the church Rick asked for a sign Carl being shot led Rick to Hershel and his farm Hershel having medical training could come in especially handy for the group in this new world.
The Blue Meth you saw was indeed a reference to Breaking Bad there are more references to it in the series what can mean that TWD is in the same universe as Breaking Bad.
Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍👍 A lot of people miss it, but when Rick is carrying Carl into the house, Hershel tells Patricia, Otis’s (the hunter) wife who helps Hershel, to grab his Foal Kit which means he is a Veterinarian, 👍🙂 Lori upset me a tad bit when she started questioning Hershel on being qualified, my personal opinion is that when one is in an apocalypse, anyone with any kind of medical knowledge is valuable and they were lucky enough to find someone with it, 😏 Have a safe and wonderful rest of your week, 👋😀👋
In this sort of apocalypse situation, a veterinarian is in my opinion, the preferred type of doctor to have. Vets know how to build medical equipment -- they use a lot of the same equipment human doctors do, but since the companies that make the equipment don't make them with animals in mind, vets often have to build for themselves, adapt, and improvise. They know how to dose medications by weight instead of age (which is more effective and safer) and most of the medications used by vets are human medications, just re-dosed to fit their needs. They're also extremely experienced in avoiding getting bitten by angry patients.
In this universe, zombies (walkers) are attracted by both smell and sound, but primarily sound. I can see where Lori was coming from with lashing out, but agree that it wasn't helping anything. Even the man who accidentally shot Carl was doing everything he could to help. Herschel is all they have right now, and beggars can't be choosers. I agree, Daryl is such an awesome character, and very useful. He's not like his brother, though there are some little signs throughout that they were unfortunately raised the same way. :-/ But Daryl doesn't have that extreme hatred and prejudice his brother has. And Daryl has a heart. I fell in love with Daryl watching him fight so hard to find Sophia.
Honesty I'd rather have a vet on my side than most Doctors in the apocalypse. I mean you end with a Dr they might only specialize in one part of the body but vets need to know how to do all kinds of things on different animals

"Am I the only one Zen around here? Good Lord!" One of the best quotes from Daryl Dixon Ever! ❤
I always end up crying whenever I see that sequence of Rick running through the field with a near lifeless Carl in his arms The sheer desperation.
oh the good ole days in the beginning. So nostalgic.

I'm with yall. Daryl is the most useful person in the group atp besides Rick and Shane ( unfortunately) 😒🤣.
We are sick of Shane. 🙄😂
He is not in stranger things lol
