I love Daryl in this episode Trying so hard to look unbothered telling Andrea about his time in the woods as a kid and you can tell he’s low key getting more worried as time goes on.
I think the main thing new people don’t realize when starting TWD is how brutal the show actually is Compared to other Zombie movies and other series it’s so unique and has so much more depth to it.
If you go back and you see Shane and Otis have a short break it’s the last time we see them together before Shane shoots Otis and leaves him they’re both laying on the ground and you can hear Shane tell Otis to go on without him and Otis says to him I ain’t leaving you behind and then you can see Shane upset and hit the ground and right there that’s when he made up his mind and he had to do what he thought was right leave Otis behind so Shane can get away.
@@AtypicalReactions I at least partially agree with this assessment of Shane, in that Shane sees it like he's willing to do whatever has to be done. Period. If that means sacrificing himself, fine. Or sacrificing someone else. He's ready to make the hard choices. Of course, he uses this to justify his choices so that he can get what he wants. Like when he was aiming that gun at Rick in the woods. 😬
I love how Shane represents that do bad to achieve good mentality It’s a really good representation of certain choices would seem super crazy to us in everyday life or wouldn’t even cross our minds but in the Zombie Apocalypse it’s crazy the choices some might make to stay alive or even for the greater good Not saying I agree with his decision but looking at the bigger picture I get it Where I don’t agree is that one would have to make a distinction of one persons life being more valuable than another’s and that that’s just an insane thing to think about.
Carl woke up and talked about the beautiful moment of seeing the deer not about the pain of getting shot or dead people walking around. Thats why I don't agree with Lori about it would be better if Carl didn't survive. Daryl knows what it's like to be lost and alone for days, and I think that's one of the reasons he truly wants to find Sofia alive.
19:20 At the moment it definitely was wrong of Shane to do that to Otis, even though its possible both of them likely wouldn't have made it back (resulting in Carl dying). But going back to this episode after Rick said they turn no matter how they die; I don't want to say it was justified (because I think Otis could've made it back to the truck) but Shane did save many lives because Rick was the only one who knew about them turning no matter what, and if Carl had died, he would have turned and bitten someone who did not know this (which could have resulted in someone else being bitten trying to separate the two).
One thing that I always think of when Daryl is telling Andrea about his childhood situation being lost in the woods, and no one else ever comments about this, is that this situation is entirely different because not only is Sophia not resourceful, but this is also a frickin apocalypse, lol. There's tons of zombies walking around and Daryl says she has the advantage because people are looking for her. I'm pretty sure zombies give her a bigger disadvantage 😂
Wow, your intuition about Dale liking Andrea was so spot on. I'm glad that came across in the show. In the original comics, Andrea and Amy lived with Dale in his RV and they were both romantically and sexually involved with Dale. Good eye.
Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍👍 In my personal opinion had Shane been as smart as he thinks he is, he would have warned Otis before popping the trunk, and most definitely saved some flares, also one would think he could have opened the FEMA trailer door a whole lot quieter upon leaving and should have thrown the couple of flares he should have saved, so they could have went back the way they had come, but since he stupidly chose not to, once they got behind the school’s security fence they should have started putting a knife in heads, but he did not, yes he told Otis to go on ahead, but there was no way Otis was going to do that so Shane should not have done what he did, especially since the Walkers were far enough behind them, considering he had time to stop, shoot and then wrestle around with Otis, there was absolutely no reason for him to have shot him except for his own twisted joy of it, 😶 RIP Otis, 😪 Have a safe and wonderful rest of your week, 👋😀👋
Just found your channel. Gave you a new sub and will be watching from here on out. I love when someone starts from scratch on this show. I’m down for the journey 100%! With every episode it just gets better and better. Can’t wait for you both to get to see how it all happens. Great video and good luck growing your channel. You’re both fun to watch with :)
in the comics Dale and Andrea are very much TOGETHER. 😂😂😂. which is so GROSS. 😂😂Thats does not happen in the TV show but they always hint at it😂😂. your reaction to Shane not coming back with odis 😂. Also that little girl left immediately after he told her to wait here and thats why she missing
Hold on here shane did what he needed to do hell he even offered to be left behind but big boy chunky declined so shane thought its best to lose one man then have both shane and otis die alongside carl
There's no need to fat shame. And also, the guy was making more progress than him, he was being kind to Shane by not leaving him behind. Shane is shit, point blank period.

I realized that Shane tried to sacrifice himself and when Otis refused to leave him behind Shane had a look like he realized what had to be done.
When did you see that? We saw him ask Otis how many rounds he had left, said sorry and shot him.

Carl does an amazing job portraying a seizure
He does! It was hard to watch.
Dale is like a father figure to them

Indeed!
I get that what Rick was saying, but I truly understand where Lori was coming from as well.
Great honest reaction guys. I can never understand people who watch TWD but don't seem to have a real emotional reaction to it.
Great reaction! I can see ya'll are fast becoming WD fans.
Yes, we are. 😊

Wow. Thanks for the confirmation! 😊
Nothing romantic/sexual about their relationship in the show though, he's more like a father figure.

This episode is intense
It is. 😅
Love your reactions ❤ Can't wait to rewatch this amazing series with you guys.
This episode always conflicts with my morality. I hate how Otis was sacrificed I that way. I'm glad Carl survived though.
True. Shane wouldn't have made it without Otis. So to turn around and do that to him, just doesn't sit well with me. Otis didn't deserve that.
@@AtypicalReactionsfacts can’t kill the man just to save Carl they could have probably both gotten away in time

YUCK. I'm glad the TV show decided to keep that out. 😂😂
I'm glad there's another comic reader in this comment section. I get that it's gross, but .... apocalypse rules I guess.
I do realize I'm the only one on Team Shane. He survives, Im not mad at that. #Shanesboo 😅
Our opinions on Shane could change as we progress through this series. But for now, we're not a fan. 😂
