You did this so easily love how you just used the shape that worked where others get all technical
I’m two years late, BUT I LOVED IT, AND WILL BE USING IT AS A REFERENCE!!!
Thank you,
Donna
Coastal Georgia
This is so informative. My sons party is next week and everybody’s been booked for months. Time to get my cricut out the closet lol
Thank you for sharing this . Just a little tip. If u keep all ur items grouped before sizing to your square. They will all be the right size. Then you can ungroup after. And you won’t be trying to figure out if they fit back into the right sized item later. Take care and thank u again
Yea. Thanks. I don't know why I chose to do it the other way, buy you absolutely correct.
Good morning. Can you point to a tutorial that shows this? Thanks !
I made mine by watching your videos! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I would not have been able to make my characters with out you!!!
I love your tutorial and your voice is very soothing. Thank you!!!
Ive been trying to figure this out for 2 hours. I watched so many video i couldnt get it. Then i watched yours and got it quick!!! Love this video!! Thank you
Same !!
Thank you for making this video! I watched another video where someone did a similar technique for larger than mat creations. Specifically in that video there was a lot of slicing and dicing going on. I like how you separated some pieces to save on paper, I like that you only made necessary slices, and with your technique it was nice to see that some pieces could remain just as they are. After watching, it literally took me a few minutes to prepare an image for the larger cut. You saved me so much time!! Thank you again!!
This was awesome thank you. My little first bday is in December. I want to start early incase it doesn't work out lol
This is the best tutorial I found to do this and your voice is so calming thank you for the helpful information!

Amazing so well explained
Amazing How Good You explain everything step by step
Thank tou so much
I'm your new follow
I might just do this for my daughter's room as wall decor
Hi
Can I make a suggesting...you could have contour the purple section. You would have to duplicate the image and remove the portion on the right (arm) and then on the second images remove the other section to see if it will fit the mat...Hope that made sense..if not let me know..
Excellent tutorial! I also learned that I can move items between mats to cut!!! I never knew that! Thank you!
Hi w you do that
Amazing! Can't wait to try it for my son's birthday party! Thank you for posting it! You are awesome!!!
love it. one of the best I've seen. wish we could've seen more on how you used two peices of paper at once.
Use the 24 inch mat. Then tape a small amount of masking tape to all corners.
Hi Brittany! You were super helpful I love the step by step I am trying to do firetruck stuff for my coming up son’s bday! I just subbed!! I hope I can connect with you enjoyed the whole process,
Great work and thank you 😊
You can use the contour function to separate the two pieces on backpack that are so close together so you don't have to cut through it.
Thanks
Explained simply
Superb!
So detailed ! Thank you!!!! You’re the best!!
Omg how adorable!
Love this 🎉❤🎉

Me, too!
GreT job & explaning...
Thank you for sharing how you make the large images. Do you put a firm backing on the images, such as foam board for rigidity? Great job.
Question so what kind of grip do I need to get on the longer mats?
You helped me a lot with this video. Thanks I really appreciate it.🙏👍
Excellent tutorial. Thank you sooo much
You did an amazing job! I’m super excited about doing some characters for birthday parties 🥳 or just for Wall Decor
Hey not sure if you know, but you don’t have to slice everything to separate the pieces. For certain images you can just duplicate then go to contour to get individual pieces.
Yea. You're right. You could contour the image as well. I've never done it that way before, but I may try it yo see which way is quicker. Thanks
Contouring is more difficult in my case Because I have to use an iPhone since I only have a Chromebook and cricket design space is not compatible on Chromebook I wonder if it would be easier to do it the country way on a computer still though
Thank you very much for sharing! This is a great tip! Can’t wait to try it!
thank you very much for your video, but what is the trick of selecting two thing to slice? i can only select one item???

I really need to learn how to create this
I’ve had my cricut a year and only did the practice cut
so when you are sliceing do i make the shape im sliceing the size i want it to be? for example if i were to cut the back pack and want it 26 inches do i make it 26 inches on the cricut the slice?? or minimize it small enough to where i can still work with it? yours seems so small on the screen
Thanks so much for this just subscribed.
I'm doing a Dora and Diego birthday party for my kids and I decided to make the decorations. Which svg file did you use for this project?? I can;t find any. Maybe I'm not doing it right. I don't know lol please help

Quick question how much would you sell these for if you were to sell them?
can you make a cinderella head one?
thanks can't wait to try it.
hi, where do you get your skin color from
These characters are true nostalgia.
This is awesome! totally explained it well! cant wait to make something over sized.
Could you put clear oracal over this to make it shiny? Or anything else??
I would not suggest putting vinyl over this, but there is a way to make characters with vinyl itself. If you want I can make a video for you showing you how to do it that way as well.
Thank you so much
Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. I’m hoping to do a few characters for my nieces 3rd birthday, but I have been feeling a little bit intimidated!
Thank you so much!! 💜
This is amazing! 💓💓💓💓
Thanks for sharing this was awesome! 🙂 I’m new to the CRicut world I have a CRicut maker. I’m so excited can wait for your next video on how to make svgs ☺️
you did an amazing job showing and explaining.
Would it be cheaper to make them or buy them there 🤔 🤷
how do you hold down 2 sheets for the cricut mat do you put tape
yes. I just use a small piece of masking tape on all corners
Can you do large letters at least about 24 in with card stock? Speaking in general. I want very large letters and would like to try it on card stock.
Yes you can. You would slice them the same way to get them to fit on the mat.
what product do you recommend for these larger designs?
They came out sooo cute 🥰 what do you recommend using to make them stand .
I use foam board from the dollar store.
Can You Cut More Than 1 Piece At A Time.?
How do I order from you sweet heart?
Thank you for sharing, this was so very helpful.
What is it called on Etsy??
Are these vinyl?
This is made with cardstock paper
I’m trying to find you on Etsy… what’s the name?
