Having taught school for 30 years , you young man , should be a teacher! I’ve watched countless tutorials about this process and never really understood any of them completely.......until now! You are excellent! Thank you SOOO much for sharing your knowledge and presenting it in a way that even the most electronically challenged people(like myself) can understand!

I’ve watched a LOT of how-to videos for Cricut and have settled on Mr. Crafty Pants as my favorite. Here’s why:
    * His pace is steady and perfectly matched with the video. He does not “gloss over” steps. When he says measure your surface, the video shows him doing that. I am a visual learner and easily overwhelmed by a barrage of words that will just cause my brain to shut down. So this pace is perfect.
    * Mr. CP does not assume I know basic steps. Other videos will say enter this and that, usually on a screen shot that I cannot see and I have no clue what they are talking about. Mr. CP’s screen view is large enough to see and I love those red arrows!! He will say things like, “I’m going RIGHT HERE” and then shows me how to do the thing.
*. He gives all the links I need to find the items I would need to make the project.
    *. He is cost conscious.
    * He is reassuring and makes me feel like I can actually do this.
    Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you… I have tried watching another youtuber who goes way too fast and doesn’t explain things clearly. You however have a knack for teaching . You take the time to teach and don’t rush. I also appreciate that you show the symbols to click instead of just saying click weld etc.. Which can be confusing if you are just learning how to use design space..
    Thank you again!

Hi MrCrafty Pants,I don't have a cutting machine nor am I crafty,BUT this video showed up in my feed and I'm completely intrigued.
Has me thinking since losing my job because of the pandemic, maybe this is something I can teach myself and possibly turn into a business.
My only concern is,would I be able to access all of the necessary tools for sale on the small island of Barbados.
Am definitely going to binge watch your channel over the next couple days. I feel like this is a sign of sorts.
    You're such a great teacher.

Thank you so much for watching! I’m so glad you stumbled across my channel! 😊
I’m so sorry that you lost your job, this has been such a hard time on so many and my heart goes out to you!
I can tell you that there are quite a few people that I’m aware of that do this as a business. As far as finding the materials in Barbados... I’m not entirely certain what all will be readily available, but I would definitely check to see which companies ship there if you can’t find items in your local stores.
Materials like StarCraft HD permanent vinyl and Oracal 651 are both high quality, affordable alternatives to Cricut vinyl that would be more cost effective and would return a higher profit. I hope that helps a little bit. 😊

I am getting past the nervous, I’m too old for this, thanks to your instructions. All the steps and buttons were like monsters that bite. You have a calm way of helping me understand the language of these buttons and the monsters are going back where they came from. Your identification of needed and not needed tools are so helpful. The tip for supplies and more is total gold. It would have taken me a year to find this stuff. I really enjoy your projects. This will be very helpful. Last night I was trying to figure out how I was going to make my poster which is larger than my cricuit mat. Thank you for taking your time in explaining. You're a good teacher. Looking forward to more of your videos. 👍

Wow! Just wow! I am so glad I found your channel. This is the first video I’ve watched that literally explains step-by-step exactly what to press and where it is. Thank you for the red arrows pointing to every move you made. You’re wonderful and informative to watch. Watching all the way from Australia. Cheers Carol.
